So, it was important to me that it looked a certain way. John & crew really delivered, the space is beautiful and I love it. The deck is great for entertaining family & friends, sun-bathing or enjoying a peaceful morning cup of coffee. My teenage son & his cousins prefer to hang-out on the gravel patio, I primarily use it as a guilty pleasure for afternoon naps. We are thoroughly enjoying our new outdoor space and I am grateful to John & Allender Const for not only creating a lovely addition to our home, but for also increasing my property value. Thank you!

A service call for our sputtering gas fireplace resulted in a $250 charge. We called and explained…read morethat we were unpleasantly surprised by the price and the company reduced the bill by $50. The job took (maybe?) 10 minutes and involved the lower panel being unclipped, then two gas valves being turned up a bit higher. No cleaning, no safety inspection, nor were we told before the job what the minimum change would be. The service was fine and our fireplace is now working well, but I think that even the reduced price of $200 is steep for a quick in-and-out job.

We…read morehad heard so many horror stories from friends and family about unreliable or untrustworthy contractors. Our project was big and complicated, so we wanted it done right. I interviewed at least six companies and Jeff's was the most impressive. He was always on time, communicated clearly, was patient about changes to the project, and was upfront about costs. At the beginning of the project he openly shared his subcontractor bids so everything was transparent. He happily worked alongside subcontractors that we had separately hired to do a full house rewire. And his crew was always polite, tidy, efficient, and did great work! We have no hesitation recommending Jeff to others, and will be calling him in the future for more projects. The only question is if he will agree to come back (we were kind of a pain in the butt, but Jeff has the patience of a saint!).

I would also like to thank Anna and Mike (office manager project manager) for scheduling and coordination. Like Bergen said, "We won't sell you what you don't need." This is true! I appreciated everyone's honesty and expertise. I'm very particular: Mike and German ensured to carry-out my detailed instructions--and they delivered! Flying Colors Painting Company was highly recommended to me by a fellow neighbor and friend in my neighborhood. I liked the quality and attention to detail FCPC delivered to my friend's house. FCPC has been in business for 44 years and they're local! I support local businesses whenever possible. My FCPC experience started off with the estimate. Bergen took accurate measurements and did the necessary calculations. In this inflated economy, I didn't mind paying the asking price because I knew I was going to get a good quality repair and paint job. A few months later, the house was pressure washed. DJ and John were very diligent with ensuring the mildew on the fascia boards located on the roof were cleaned--and they delivered! I inspected all around the house and the house was cleaned to my expectation. Two weeks later, father and son carpenters Mick and Jones worked very hard to replace the dry rotted T1-11 siding boards. Each of the panels are 9' x 4', and the repairs warranted 5 panels. Dry rot existed on the chimney box siding, and sidings by the kitchen and back of the house. Mick and Jones are very skilled carpenters, and they worked diligently and efficiently. I am very pleased with the repairs! A week later, the painting commenced. I was very PARTICULAR with the painters. I presented my attention to detail in a professional manner...the painters were very receptive to my requests. I met with lead painter, German and communicated to him the fine details and personal touches I wanted to be done. German, Miguel, Pascual and Miguel are very skilled painters. The painting process lasted four days. I am very pleased with the quality of the work product of the estimator, pressure washers, carpenters and painters. I highly recommend FCPC!
