From start to finish they were fantastic. Orest came out for a free estimate, gave us a clear plan and a fair, firm price, and stuck to it. The work was fast but incredibly high quality -- they matched our wall texture and blended the paint so well you genuinely can't tell where the openings used to be, and the siding repairs look seamless. They even went above and beyond, tackling an extra spot we hadn't asked about. Great communication throughout, and genuinely friendly, kind people who take pride in their work. They each seem to have their own areas of specialization; Orest is amazing with logistics, one of his brothers is remarkable with tile, and the other brother seems to be a dependable and friendly jack of all trades! I've hired OrCo for two projects, tiling my sunporch as well as my kitchen and dining room. The sunporch was quick and painless, and their master tiler whipped it out in a day. The kitchen was a bit more of a challenge given the age of my home, unlevel surfaces, and surprise layers of linoleum lurking below what we thought was the bottom layer of flooring. The OrCo brothers were consumate professionals despite these challenges, and by some miracle they were still able to finish the job on time. Honestly, I still don't know how they did it! I love my floors! It's been several weeks since they finished the work, and every morning when I step into my kitchen I look upon the results with joy. I don't know why I didn't contact OrCo sooner! The floor is level, the grout is holding up, and the floors sparkle when I walk in the room. I sourced OrCo in the Projects section of Yelp, and their bid was one of the first responses I received when I published my request for proposal. What I love about the Yelp Projects Workspace is that approved vendors come with a $2500 guarantee from Yelp. That means if the project goes south, or I'm not pleased with the work, Yelp has me covered! OrCo came in with the second lowest bid, and I confidently booked the work based on their positive reviews and the Yelp guarantee. I am looking forward to hiring OrCo again. I don't have a lot of experience tackling big home projects like this, so next time I would like to have more options when it comes to finishing touches like the trim and thresholds for the doorways. Realizing I wanted to replace all the windows and patio doors, I delayed a year and contacted Frank when I was ready. First of all, Frank is a joy to work with. He was always communicative, prompt and friendly. He offered for us to come out to the showroom and see the windows and doors in person. I went with the Milgard Trinsic Windows and Doors. Second, the install team was excellent. Every day, they arrived on time and hit the ground running. Having a number of contractors for projects over the past 5 years, this team has been the best. I moved out of the house during the project, but I stopped by daily and everything was always cleaned up and in order. Third, I really appreciated the effort and thoroughness on the last day of cleaning the exterior and especially the interior of the house. The team takes great pride in their work and you can tell that is 100% employee owned. If I had to say there was a down side, its you may be in for a wait when placing your order because their work is in high demand (the first year quote, I would have had to wait 4-5 months). Finally, the windows and doors are beautiful. What a difference this made in regards to temperature, sound, and clarity. Not to mention, the ease at using the doors and the contemporary narrow frame modernized our home. We could not be happier.

While we had a bit of a slow start waiting for the original product to come in from the suppliers, once the new flooring arrived at Brandsen's, the process went smoothly. Paul's calm manner and support helped me be patient; Yuri's thorough and professional work closed the deal. I LOVE my floors and can hardly keep myself from slide-skating in my socks every day. Day one of the project an unmarked white van is sitting outside my house and a guy who speaks zero English is staring at me. No wave, no smile, no hello. I asked him if he was with Brandsen Floors and he nodded and pointed to the back of the van where he began unloading his tools. mmmkay.... So, Paul had outsourced the work to a pair of very capable Russian guys. That's cool, I like the Russians, but at least warn a lady before sending over a guy in an unmarked van who doesn't speak your language. Kind of uncool. During prep one of the guys broke a seam board in a high traffic area. I thought to myself, bummer, but no big deal they'll replace it. Wrong! Paul (who was completely absent from the job until this point) tried to glue the board back together and call it good enough. Really? It was split completely down the middle, one step and it would have snapped. I told him that the work was unacceptable and the board needed replacing and he really fought me on it. So much for being charming and lovely, jerk. Needless to say this left a bad taste in my mouth to have to haggle over a single board worth maybe $20 after shelling out thousands. Besides Paul, I was very pleased with the job. The guys worked hard and the floors turned out better than I expected. They had no problems dealing with lead paint or potential asbestos - which is a rare find. Mr Sandman wouldn't come near my living room without testing what the black gunk was first (which is no cheap task - it was likely asbestos). Would I use them again, probably not , but I would ask for the number to the Russians he outsourced the job to. They were a class act.

She waxes the drawers, added a new backing, fixed the loose joints, and even found new hardware that perfectly matched the desk. I was nervous about stripping down the finish, but the result looked like someone had renewed the finish of the old desk and gave it a new sheen. I was lucky to find her, and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to entrust a vintage piece to an expert.
