Whether I'm sitting at the bar by myself or at a table, I always enjoy the food and the atmosphere. But that Sunday was even better because I was accompanied by my son. Our server, Danielke, was amazing! She was attentive, patient, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Of course, I had to get their mimosa. I mean, who doesn't have a mimosa on Sunday? My son went with the strawberry lemonade. He ordered the chicken and waffles, while I had the shrimp and grits. Let me tell you the shrimp was flavorful, with just the right amount of spice, and the sausage added even more flavor. And those grits? Just perfect! Creamy, delicious, and the perfect complement to the shrimp. It was the perfect Sunday brunch date, good food, great service, a wonderful atmosphere, and quality time with my son. I opted for a side Caesar (no croutons) + margarita pizza (gfree crust). The Caesar was good and the pizza was just okay...the crust was too crunchy for my liking. Though I used my hubby's marinara sauce to dip the bland and crunchy pizza crust into. The service could've been better. The bartenders were nice but seemed quite preoccupied with bar duties as well as a couple sitting next to me whom they knew making small talk while I patiently was waiting to order another Coke. Earlier, I had to ask for red pepper as well as Parmesan for my pizza. She appeared to go try and find it and then totally got sidetracked until I reminded her again. Then my drink was empty but no one asked me if I wanted a refill. I was disappointed they weren't better at anticipating the needs of the customers. As far as ambience, the music is on loud. There's a tv in the bar area (today it was playing espn). A couple of other side notes, I was shocked that when I ordered my soda...it was poured from a can. They also have prosecco on tap.

Not sure how can they even sell something so terrible to customers and again charge so much for such a low quality coffee. If you don't have good decaf beans, then don't offer decaf coffee. It's very upsetting to receive such a terrible coffee. Place was super run down with literal hole in the ceiling, so half of the place was closed down. Even the area that was open was super run down, and had pieces of pain coming out. So overall not a nice ambience.

My options were limited since I don't eat pork and a majority of their meat is pork. They do have a chicken sausage, but looking at pictures. It looks like the casing may possibly be pork so I decided to avoid it just in case. I also got their cold brew, it didn't come with any cream or sweetener or anything to add. I probably should've asked for some, because I found the cold brew to just be OK. My husband got the chicken pot pie and said he expected more chicken in it. Unfortunately seating inside sometimes is hard because people would order a coffee and just seat there for hours doing work. I don't that's appropriate and staff should not allow that. So many times there were no seats and bunch of people doing "work" on laptops while families with kids had nowhere to seat. I don't think it's "work at the cafe" place, people come there to eat mostly and it's weird to see one person with a coffee and a laptop taking up a whole table for an hour while there is a line out of the door of people.
