I've been wanting to try Eggslut for so long, so on my most recent trip to Vegas I made time to stop by. It's located on the 2nd floor of the Cosmopolitan along with several other food spots. It's pretty popular, so expect a long line, but it moves quickly. Seating is limited, so try to grab a spot while waiting for your order. We ordered the Egg Salad Sandwich, Gaucho Sandwich, the Slut, French Toast Sticks, Truffle Hashbrowns, and fresh orange juice. Everything was delicious! My only complaint is that the Slut was really salty, but I think they top it heavily with salt, so I'd recommend mixing it well before digging in. Bonus tip: If you're an MGM Rewards member, you can earn points and tier credits here -- just show your card or charge it to your room if you're staying at The Cosmopolitan (the cashiers are busy enough as it is, so they won't ask for it or remind you). It was quite disappointing about the quality of the food and the price. Overall the taste of the burgers and sandwiches were okay, but not as great as most of the reviewers stated. Given the time we spent waited on line to try and the amount of money we paid, this was disappointing. We would expect better taste burger and sandwiches. The burgers and sandwiches we ordered came out very oily, but the steaks on the Fairfax came out great. I would not recommend wasting time to wait and get these overpriced burgers and sandwiches. Eggslut is a staple every time I visit Vegas. It is located inside the Cosmopolitan hotel. I have had amazing breakfasts here in the past. This time, I did some gambling in the Cosmopolitan and wanted a sweet treat. I saw on a blog that Eggslut had amazing chocolate chip cookies, and I knew I needed one! I ventured to the second floor to Eggslut around 1:30pm on a Monday. There was a short line, but the line did take a while to get through. There are 2 registers, and it would have been helpful to have staff working at both taking orders. I ordered the salted chocolate chip cookie which was $4. The employee had to go to the back to ask if they had any, and she said there was 1 left. The cookie was so good. I liked the flaky salt on it, and it really enhanced the flavors. I came, I saw, I stood in line for 15minutes and was late to my spa appointment all to be underwhelmed. The place is cute and located in my favorite hotel, the Cosmopolitan. Pretty easy to find, just look for the long line that wraps around a hallway near the restrooms but don't fret, it moves fast. I am glad I visited but did leave a tad disappointed. Pretty good! This was our brunch food. It's tucked in the food hall at the cosmo. Line was long but went really quick. Staff taking our order were friendly. Everyone in my group got a breakfast but I just wanted the slut with a side of sausage and some truffle hash. It was sooo good. Loved the puree potato and the poached egg on top. Such a comforting breakfast. I thought I was going to feel full and heavy but surprised didn't. I also ordered a cinnamon toast cold brew but would not recommend that because the coffee was so watered down. Our food ended up being free too because of our room comp so that's a win ahha. Meh, I would skip in the future. Only reason to go here is if you don't want to walk to a further place or you're sold by the name and need a moment to do a Vegas checklist item. I'm convinced the name is what creates rhe business. Personally I want a sandwich that is hot and delish. This was a force to finish. The egg wasn't over hard as requested and became a runny mess. They swapped the bacon for avocado that was a nice touch. I felt like the avocado was the only perk. The bread was dry almost where you question of it was left out/stale. The line was massive and it took maybe 30mins to clear. The French toast was ok. I think there are calories worth having or you just rather pass. We had 1 of the 3 sticks. The vanilla sauce was better than the toast. Vegas can run you quite a few bucks so $40 is actually competitive pricing. I'd rather walk further for rounded options. We're SoCal natives so as soon as we saw the Eggslut we knew we'd be hitting it up for at least one breakfast! First day we tried around 9:45am after a late night & there was a very long line for a Tuesday morning wrapping all the way into the adjacent hallway. Next day we got there around 8am after grabbing a coffee from the Illy Cafe on the same floor. They were ready for the rush with well over a dozen employees working. We got our usuals: wife bacon, eggs and cheese, my go to is Fairfax with bacon. We took them all back to our room & had an excellent breakfast on the balcony. Execution was consistent with other Eggsluts we've been to, quick & efficient (at least before 9am!) Also our total was ~$40 for two egg sandwiches with truffle hashbrowns. This me and my Wife spot. I get up at 6:30am on a Sunday. Drive to the Cosmopolitan and get my free parking. By the time i hit the second floor it's a line down the hall. It's like everyone knows it's the only thing open that early or after party. Such a great spot, fresh food and fast friendly service. The area is hard to miss and very dine-in accessible. We waited more than 30 minutes to order, the menu was pretty simple, we ordered the Fairfax and the Gaucho breakfast sandwiches, truffle hash browns and a $7 orange juice, they didn't have any water other than bottled water for $6. As soon as we got our food, we tried to find a place to eat, it was so crowded, seats were very limited and it was difficult to find anything, but we got lucky as someone left a tiny seating area with a tiny table, there were 3 in our group, but we managed. The food was good, it was small and light and the eggs were fluffy, but I didn't taste any siracha Mayo at all and the caramelized onion was very faint. The Gaucho sandwich didn't have much meat inside. It wasn't anything special, just hype and it was expensive. Not sure if it was worth the wait, but it was nice to try it out. If you are craving a breakfast sandwich and are close to the Cosmopolitan than this is the right place for you. They have a pretty simple menu where each item is unique on their own. There was a line that wrapped around but it moves pretty fast. Fairfax Sandwich($11+($3bacon))- This sandwich was my favorite out of the items I tried, I would say the bacon added the needed saltiness to sandwich that is complimented by the creamy egg and sriracha mayo mix. Sausage, egg and cheese sandwich($11)- Not as flavorful to the fairfax but still is satisfying to eat. Slut($11.50)- Nothing special in particular to me, was just a creamy mixture of egg yolk and potato puree, it lacked salt for me. Truffle Hashbrowns($6)- Nothing too crazy, just regular hashbrowns with a hint of truffle oil Overall I did enjoy the flavors for each item even though I had to add salt to a few of them. I ordered the Fairfax sandwich, truffle hashbrowns, and the house made buttermilk biscuit with honey butter. The Fairfax sandwich was SO good. Pretty much a perfect breakfast sando in my book. I love soft scrambled eggs. The hashbrowns were good, tasted like truffle, and somehow my least favorite thing was the biscuit. Flavor was fine but it was a bit on the hard side. I think it had sat for too long, if fresher could have been a nice flakey, biscuit texture. Walked from our hotel to line up at 6:55 am they open at 7:00. There was already a line down the hall that was about :25 minutes long. We ordered the biscuit, the French toast sticks, The Slut and The Fairfax, we ordered coffee across the hall at The District since they do not make Lattes here. Hubby surprised me with a little extra, the $11.50 The Slut. coddled egg, smooth potato purée, gray salt, chives, slices of baguette. We made the mistake of walking it back since it was still piping hot to our hotel (we were so full and thought it would give us a chance to take a breather).... it was still salty delicious but I would like to have tasted it when it was at its peak freshness/hotness. However, despite the line being so long, the line moved surprisingly quick. I think I only ended up waiting around 20 minutes before I was at the register to place my order. We shared the truffle hash browns -- which come shaped like McDonald's chicken nuggets in a small brown bag, and a side salad as well. The eggs in the Fairfax are perfectly scrambled and super fluffy. The egg salad sandwich was not the best egg salad that I've had. I felt like the egg salad was a bit under-seasoned, and for both sandwiches, the ratio of egg to bun was a little off. The brioche bun was a bit thick for how much egg is in the sandwich. As an open faced sandwich with one less bun, the ratio is perfect. If you're in the area and there's a short line, Eggslut is definitely worth trying out at least once to see what the hype is about. read more
