We're staying at park MGM and had a credit to use at this spot. Our reservation was at 10:45am, but because it took a while to get an elevator (bc it was also around check out time) we showed up at 11am to be told they only held the table for 10 minutes. We went on a waiting list and were seated ~30 minutes later. Online I didn't see their prix fix menu but was excited to see they had one. We got a tower of apps, our main entree, and a cupcake to go. It was such a great deal, and the food was great and they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions for the tower apps. It was also a lot of food. Been years since I've been in but breakfast this morning hit the spot. High points: the pancakes are still stellar. $17 pancakes that are actually worth $17- they don't look like much when they are served but they hit the jackpot in texture and flavor. I remember these being a lot thicker (and maybe only one of them?) years ago when Primrose first opened but regardless they are still absolutely worth ordering. My only minor complaint was the butter was too cold and took forever to melt into the pancakes. Please fix this. Hollandaise on Benedict super fresh and lemony - very delicious. And the coffee is even great! (And they bring a whole carafe which is the right answer:). The space is still bright and beautiful and clean and you can see the pool area right outside. I came here with a group and it took us 2 hours to get out (with a reservation and getting seated immediately). It took well over an hour to get food, and a very very long time to order. The food was mediocre at best, and we compared it to Dennys quality with a high price tag. The dishes came out inconsistent. We had a few orders of eggs Benedict and the hollandaise on each of ours were of varying consistencies and amounts, depending on how long they'd been sitting under a heat lamp (I assume). My friend's was clumpy and mine was more smooth, for example. We didn't send anything back because of how painfully long it took the first time. The lattes were 80% ice. The steak and eggs were severely overcooked and could barely be cut with a knife. Many of the breakfast potatoes were severely undercooked. When we asked what was taking so long prior to getting our food, we were met with a "well I put in the ticket, I checked." Not an "I'm so sorry let me check" or a "it should only be a bit longer" or any other explanation that would actually make sense. It was a bit busy, but not so crowded that it should be this unmanageable, especially in a place like Vegas. read more

I do feel like the food was a tad overpriced, but that could just be because I'm not used to Las Vegas prices. The coffee was great, honestly probably the best part of my meal. I'm Asian and the busser thought I didn't speak English and repeated himself. I'm American and was extremely offended. Additionally the server was nice, but I had to remind him about my order. Once we ordered, it took another 15 minutes for the food to arrive, which felt a little long but manageable. The side potatoes that came with the eggs Benedict were seasoned to perfection, and the almond whipped cream on the waffles was quite a tasty experience. I had an amazing experience the last time I've visited that when we were staying at the hotel, I needed another meal here. Monday for brunch which was about half an hour wait. We checked in with the hostess to give our phone number and put our name down. Honestly we were going to just walk around and see what else was near. Ended up in CVS when we got the text saying that our table was ready. They give you a 10 minute grace period before your table is given away. We made it back in time and was informed to wait inside for our name to be called. There was three other party all waiting for a table. A couple minutes and we were called. The last visit, we were seated in the bar room next to the fireplace which was an amazing dining experience. This visit, we were seated in the main room. Table that looked out to the patio and pool. It was fine but not as cozy as the other fireplace table. Service was just whatever. Our waiter was nice. Starter off with a Bloody Mary. I don't want to sound redundant but it wasn't as good as the prior visits. It was just whatever. Same as the food. I had another salad, the Cobb. Nothing major, your usual salad. We also had the spinach artichoke dip. That was nice and tasty. Service was ok this visit. Drink was ok, nothing exciting . I guess my high hopes of the same dining experience was a bit too high. I can't say enough good things about Primrose. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the inside was so cute and cozy! Evelyn, who is the hostess, was an absolute gem of a human! She was so warm and kind, and you can tell she genuinely a good person and wants to give every customer great service! She even remembered my name when I was leaving. She sees so many people, and it shows how much she cares when she takes the time to remember the name of the customers. (And the place was packed) My server was Jeremy and he was very sweet! I had a guest staying at the Park MGM for xmas week. I booked Xmas day brunch here and it was my first time here. The establishment overall was cute and well decorated inside with a homey feel. The server (I cant recall his name Manny perhaps but he was from NY area) was great. Love this place whenever I am in Vegas. The servers and bartenders are all top notch, they make excellent drinks and provide the best, fast, friendly service. Of particular note, there is a drink here called the lavender sgroppono. It has grey goose, champagne and scoop of lemon sorbet and it is like heaven in a glass. As one of my fellow diners commented, they're so easy to drink that you have to be careful you don't have so many you lose your whole day. (But even if you do... so what! It's Vegas.) Food is also excellent and I particularly like sitting at the bar. There is usually a long wait for the restaurant on weekends but it's worth it. Or sneak into an open spot at the bar. read more

Located near the Park MGM front desk, Primrose is easily one of the better breakfast and brunch spots on the Strip. I dined solo, so I only got to try one dish -- the Shrimp and Grits ($26) -- along with a greens juice ($11). I assumed the juice would be freshly made in-house, but it turned out to be a bottled Pressed Juicery product. The shrimp and grits were tasty and filling. The shrimp tasted fresh, and the grits had a nice texture -- not mushy at all. The décor is very pretty and would serve as a nice backdrop for your new IG post. On a weekday, it's easy enough to walk in, but I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming on a weekend. The staff was friendly -- maybe a little too friendly -- as my server was busy chatting with another table, and I had to wait to get his attention to place my order and again to get the bill. I can understand staff shortages but this seems absurd for the only breakfast place in the Park MGM.
