My husband and I recently purchased a place in the South Loop, and we wanted to get the place…read morepainted prior to move-in. My husband contacted someone for painting services, and I contacted a few others for quotes. The first person to respond to me was Excellence Painting! Gerardo was so fast with email response time, and he was the ONLY company that could come and see the place that same day I called him. We scheduled for him to come to our place at 5PM (to provide an estimate) and he was on time! He came in, was very friendly, and walked around to see what work we were looking to get painted, and left. Later that evening, he was the only one that sent me an email with a quoted estimate. I asked him for an estimate for labor only, and then with paint. He provided both estimates! After reviewing multiple quotes, I decided to go with Excellence Painting because I felt that Gerardo, from the beginning, was very professional, and responded in a timely fashion! I felt I could count on him and his crew! He was also very competitively priced!!! The next day, Gerardo stopped by the place, and helped me finalize paint colors based on what I was looking for. He told me he would start the next day, but had a project in the morning to complete, so he would come in the afternoon. He came later in the afternoon (around 6-ish), and he started the painting. Then he came the next day with his crew, and finished the majority of the place. He finished everything yesterday! The place looks beautiful, as I will add photos of his work. My husband and I are VERY HAPPY!!!! Biggest thing for me - Gerardo was ALWAYS responsive, we primarily spoke through email, but he would respond within 5-10 minutes! He was always very energetic and happy! Whenever he said he would do something, he did it! He was never late, he was very articulate and detailed! I would absolutely 1000% recommend him!!!! I am very lucky to have met a great person such as Gerardo, and we will absolutely be using his company again for future painting needs!

First off, I loved that his team was willing to come out to Hinsdale as the first job they worked on was Downtown Chicago. Next, working with Danny in the planning phase was a breeze. I walked him through a home description, pictures and what rooms/colors I wanted done. Despite the process being remote, he gave me an accurate estimate that was competitive with most of the other ones I received, and much better than quite a few. Lastly, Eddie and his team of painters did a bang up job over the 3 days. We were able to make adjustments to add additional painting areas, try out a different color for an accent wall when the first attempt wasn't to our liking, and these guys powered through the job neatly and professionally. I've recommended them to my in-laws which, to me, is the ultimate compliment. Or maybe that's just my in-laws who I'd never hear the end of it if P5 didn't to a top tier job..... ;)

I went on Yelp to look for someone to stain my 6 foot wood property fence. Out of 5 estimates, Orozco was the least expensive and most professional. He even came to bring me samples and color patterns after he had come to measure and survey the project. He remained friendly and informative during the entire project. My fence looks amazing. He sanded it down first and then stained. I am beyond impressed. He didn't try to charge me some exuberant amount either. I believe there are still good, hardworking people amongst us that want to provide great service from the heart. Mr. Orozco is one of them, and his work ethic will bless him!

In addition, they follow through on commitments, manage their schedule so they can complete the job as planned, and the quality of service they provide is the best we've had. Alex was a constant presence. He was respectful of team members who came and went, and kept the folks he reported to up to date so that everyone was equally informed about the project's progress. Whether he was reinstalling window coverings, moving furniture to protect it, or talking our cats out from underneath a bed, Alex (and all of the team, for that matter) was consistently competent and kind. I needed walls, doors, baseboards all done and we were able to settle on a fair price and I scheduled for the following week since I was also getting my floors buffed and stained. During this time, Edgar recommended some paint colors and he was able to provide a COI as required by my building. It was easy to get a hold of him via text and he was always prompt in responding. Edgar arrived with all supplies (tarp, paint, caulk, rollers etc) as we had agreed upon. He spent the majority of the first day in patching and repairing and setting up for the actual paint job. The next day I stopped by to see the progress and I certainly appreciated his attention to detail. Edgar worked alone since his crew was on another job site but it didn't matter since I was in no rush and he ended up doing a great job by himself. In addition to painting, Solano does perform home remodeling too. Based on my experience, I definitely recommend Edgar for your home improvement needs.
