The food is excellent; however, the noise level was disturbing and it was impossible to visit with our friends. The excessive noise made me feel like I was back in my college cafeteria. Will return for the food when we can sit outside and enjoy our meal. Service was very good. read more

Quality of the food was very good. Had the salmon Benedict, hash browns and strawberry mimosa. The only recommendation is that they offer half portions at a reduced price. While the price was fine for weekend brunch I probably wouldn't swing by for a business meeting because the price point is too high, even though the quality is there. Service was good and they were packed. The entrance is crowded and makes for an awkward experience while waiting to be seated. Would like it better if server took the bill to register, again, same awkward congestion and long line to check out, kind of a let down after such great food. Lets just say I wasn't eggactly eggstatic about the Eggsclusive Cafe. First - the food, service, atmosphere, and dining experience were eggceptional (sorry - I'll quit that). But as we walked in the door we saw the notice which stated that they would not make accommodations for parties of 8 or more on Saturday or Sunday. We only had six, but are you kidding me. If I wanted to bring in a bunch of people to spend money in your establishment you wouldn't attempt to accommodate us?! Then we asked to be seated outside. "I'm sorry, we don't allow kids outside." Ok. We had 2 - 15 year olds and a 10 year old. They weren't going to be a distraction to the adult diners! Now we are seated and the menu was great. But as my son considered substituting a biscuit for an English muffin on a breakfast sandwich we noticed the words at the bottom of the menu - "NO SUBSTITUTIONS." Rules -rules-rules!! Seriously! This is a restaurant, not an elementary school! We are not in your restaurant because we no other options. Serve your customers. read more

I love this place for breakfast or brunch. They have so many options for food on their menu and their staff is very attentive. It has the atmosphere of a typical diner, with a modern touch. Favorite breakfast place in town! My bf and I very rarely go out to eat because we prefer our own cooking, but every once in a while we visit Eggsclusive on Sundays after church and are always very pleased. The wait staff is quick-paced, kind and competent. We always order one of the Skillets to share. Even with sharing, I still manage to have leftovers. It's a huge skillet! We were driving to Wisconsin from Chicago and decided to pull over the car and eat food. We found this restaurant thanks to Yelp. I tried their new dish Tinga Skillet. Very delicious with nice spicy flavors. Love it. If you love spicy food and like more flavors, you should try this. Great indoor and out door places to sit. Love the food and the service is exceptional, too. We had the sweetest server, BobbieJo, checked on us a lot and made good recommendations for the menu. Very hospitable to us. read more

Finally got to try this place. Atmosphere is really nice, a bit on the loud side. Plenty of food choices and the portions were huge. Food was very tasty and I love that you get the option between toast or pancakes. The food came out very fast, the place wasn't slammed but it was fairly busy. In from out of town and saw reviews and menu. 10 minute wait on Sunday at 12:30 pm was nothing. I had tea, and the salmon eggs Benedict, Hollandaise on the side, which comes with a huge order of hash browns. The lox was perfect, everything bagel toasted nicely and the hash browns were surprisingly delicious. I ate 1 1/2 of the salmon/bagel, maybe 1/3 if the potatoes. I made a point to tell my attentive server that everything was delicious but that I was traveling and did not want to stuff myself (as usual). I have been to their location in sycamore, and this one, and the breakfast never seems to disappoint. I will say the service is excellent, the food is priced a bit jigher than your traditional breakfast, but for the portions they give you, it is well worth it. The orange juice is freshly squeezed right there in the restaurant and tasted so good! Actually the word "fresh" is true for the food also. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are!
