This by far is my favorite place for breakfast. They have a great menu with a variety of dishes that I have yet to try. It is a great place to come eat with family, friends or even a breakfast meeting. read more

I came in for brunch around 11:30 on a Sunday. We had about a 20 minute wait. We started off with a Bloody Mary and a Rumchatta coffee. Both were pretty light on the alcohol for the price but good none the less. My friend had the crab cakes Benedict and loved it. I had the Señor something or other, it was really good too! The service was pretty good, though it seemed our waitress was overwhelmed and didn't check in often enough for my taste. I have to deduct a star for the noise level. It was overwhelming and difficult to carry on a conversation. I won't be back until nicer weather so I can sit outside or management decides to get their head out of the sand. If every single review mentions the sound, the time has come to do something about it! read more

Eggsclusive Cafe - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Rockford, Illinois

There are few times when the music in a restaurant can't be heard because of the ambient noise, but this was the worst case of hard space reverberate crowd and dish clatter noise I've ever experienced. Sometimes I couldn't hear the music, and conversation was difficult. The place wasn't close to half full, so a decent crowd would make it even more painful. I could hardly wait to finish and get out of there! The food was good; the coffee flowed freely...er, wrong word....at $2.49, it wasn't free, but it was replenished often. Nevertheless, we will not return. The noise decibels were frightful. When I commented as I paid, I got a shrug and "what're ya gonna do!" read more

This has to be the BEST BREAKFAST place in town. We were passing through and saw this place and yelp. The pictures made us want to stop. Not only were all the other reviews correct about the food, but the portion sizes were huge. We had to try the steak skillet (I forget the name of it)? It filled the whole plate filled with steak, mushrooms, diced onions and peppers topped with provolone cheese and scrambled eggs. In all my years I've never had a bigger or better skillet. We orderd the fresh squeezed OJ which was also amazing and delicous tasting to wash this monster down. My wife orderd the ham off the bone, asparagus, and mozzarella omlette. This was very fresh and flavor packed. It came with choice of potatoes or hash browns and pancakes. Huge portion sizes. The toast I got with mine came with a amazing one of a kind raspberry jam. A must get if you are already there. Food was fresh and we'll thought of Portion sizes huge Cost was reasonable Clean and friendly atmosphere Great service and staff Must try!!!!! read more

Went here based on high rating. Should have checked menu prices also. Found the place to be very expensive and there is nothing on breakfast menu below 7.99 not even the oatmeal. Decide to split the Benedict and of course got charged a split fee. My wife says split fees are normal but most of the breakfast places back were I live don't do it. The basic Benedict was ok but the diced potatoes were not to our liking as there were deep fried or well cooked in oil. For Sunday morning at 8:00 it was only 1/4 full which was surprising. Would give it 3.5 stars. read more

I was very impressed by this place. The food was fantastic as was the service. My wife and I were happy to see that one of our favorite servers from another favorite restaurant in Rockford was working here so we got to sit in her section. My daughter had the pigs in a blanket which was really cute and she loved it. I had the baked potato skillet and loved it too. We'll certainly be back. read more

Go. Just Go. The OJ was fresh and delicious. The eggs were poached exactly as I had requested. Food was served quickly and hot. Love the look and feel of the restaurant. I am definitely coming back here....probably tomorrow. read more

Food is delicious and portions are huge. Everything is extremely fresh. In the summer their mimosa garden is a lovely place to have your meal. Would give five stars but inside the building is extremely loud. It's difficult to have a conversation or enjoy your meal when your ears are constantly being overwhelmed. They could easily put up some sound canceling pads on the ceiling to combat this. read more

Excellent food, huge portions & great service ! Prices are a bit higher than other Rockford places, not at all out of line, but the food is significantly better than other local places. Also the ambience is really nice. read more

Found this gem as we were passing through!! Fabulous!! Great food, great service!! The 5 eggs omelet was a bit much to finish for my husband and the eggs Benedict I had was amazing!! The potatoes were cooked to perfection!! read more

This is my favorite place to take family for a breakfast out. Very unique options and the portions are huge! Almost always have another meal out of the entrees. Entering we have ordered had been excellent. Sometimes the wait is a little long, but definitely worth it. read more

Nice place, good food. Portions are absurdly large; the acoustics are awful. Very loud.

Ever since I found out about Eggsclusive Cafe 2, I knew I had to try it. Once I did, I was in breakfast heaven. It is the best breakfast/brunch place in Rockford and anywhere I've eaten! The food is reasonably priced, DELICIOUS, appetizing to the eye, and the food portion is big. (Did I mention it's the best breakfast ever?) The orange juice is to die for as it is very fresh. I'm a big foodie and am going to culinary school so trust me, this place is fantastic. Since my first time here, my boyfriend and I have come almost every weekend! I've suggested Eggsclusive to many of my friends, and they have all loved it! The service is excellent (or as my boyfriend would joke "eggscelent") and everyone is super friendly! I have never had to wait a long time to get my food or for anything in that case! My favorite has to be either the Eggs Florentine or Eggs Arlington. This was my first time trying an Eggs Benedict and now that's all I get (well, most of the time). Basically, anything is great here. I could go on but I say most of these reviews together make a clear point: Eggslusive Cafe is wonderful, delicious, and a must-go for breakfast. Can't wait to come back and try something new! read more

This restaurant it amazing! You've got to try it but I warn you; once you go you'll not be happy anywhere else!

Service was terrible, place is very loud inside. Food is good but they don't do a la carte for those people that eat on the lighter side. You still get charged full price for half the meal and substitutions not allowed. I would not go back. Disappointing. read more

We enjoyed our visit to Eggsclusive - very interesting assortment on menu & the coffee was absolutely wonderful! I had a veggie skillet with the healthy stuff on top of the hashbrowns. Trouble is, the hashbrowns left an oily, gritty taste in your mouth .... like cold "lard" would do & so we ate very little of them! Hope you can figure out that problem. Staff was very pleasant. Atmosphere very appealing. read more

Visiting here and found great reviews on Yelp and this place is spot on. Great Coffee, fresh squeezed OJ, I had the Tinga Chicken skillet which was a LOT of food- with pancakes instead of bread. Everything was well prepared, great service-- we were even offered coffee in to go cups (paper cups no less which I favor). Prices are fair for what they offer-- a huge selection for all tastes. Clean, neat restaurant and professional but not overbearing staff! read more

Eggsclusive Cafe is the best place the get breakfast in Rockford. Their skillets are so filling, fun and full packed of flavor that you can never go wrong. Chicken Cabo or Mexicana skillets are definitely my go to. Service is always quick and friendly here as well! read more

Probably the best lox and bagel I've ever had, salmon mouth watering! Fresh fruit amazing. Husband loved Napa Fig omelette. Wait staff excellent. Came from out of town but will be back for sure! read more

We love this place. The best severs to ask for are Paig, Nivia, and Christina (hope I spelled their names right) they are awesome and will take good care of you. The food is amazing and we always get more food then we can eat. Keep up the good work. read more

Excellent Option for the ones who like a good breakfast !!!! The service was great also ! I'm definetively coming back !

Great little brunch place nestled in Cherry Valley! Our food came out so quick & the mimosas were fantastic! If you have a bit of a sweet tooth I definitely recommend the cinna-bomb French toast. read more

Friends of mine had told me about Eggclusive and I stopped in for breakfast today. The prices were reasonable to high, but the quality was outstanding. The prices were understandable once I saw the portions as well. They are huge; omelets are made with 5 eggs. They have great service, yummy food, and a nice adult only area outside. read more

Awesome food, reasonable prices...we've been here multiple time for breakfast and have never been disappointed. Always seem to be taking the food home, since you get such big portions. One of these days we need to go there for lunch. read more

The food was AMAZING, service was great, in the words of my five year old " That food was sooo good I have never eaten so much" and he is right I have never seen him eat so much food! My only feedback is that we love sitting outside and we were told u had to b 18 or older, for being only opened for breakfast n lunch I thought that was a little odd. We we'll certainly b back but probably more so when the weather is not great where it warrants being inside. read more

Great breakfast place. I am not a breakfast person but I would definitely come here. You get alot for what you pay for. The skillets are great, their potatoes are fabulous. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is great! Staff is very friendly. read more

The food is excellent; however, the noise level was disturbing and it was impossible to visit with our friends. The excessive noise made me feel like I was back in my college cafeteria. Will return for the food when we can sit outside and enjoy our meal. Service was very good. read more

Quality of the food was very good. Had the salmon Benedict, hash browns and strawberry mimosa. The only recommendation is that they offer half portions at a reduced price. While the price was fine for weekend brunch I probably wouldn't swing by for a business meeting because the price point is too high, even though the quality is there. Service was good and they were packed. The entrance is crowded and makes for an awkward experience while waiting to be seated. Would like it better if server took the bill to register, again, same awkward congestion and long line to check out, kind of a let down after such great food. They should also enter the menu on the website rather than use image of the actual menu, can't read it on mobile device. read more

Visiting for a soccer tournament and found this place on Yelp, lived up to the 4 stars as advertised. The food was great and the waitress was very nice. I would definitely come back if in the area. read more

This is probably my favorite breakfast place in the area. I ordered the strawberry crepes and it was like something out of a dream. It was delicious and beautiful! Not to mention that someone is always there to refill your cup of coffee ;) read more

How's the food at this place? Well, since their host/hostess isn't competent, I don't really know. Put our name in for 2 people, and stood by the podium waiting for what was to be about 15 minutes. Start to notice people who came in after us being seated. Asked why- they said 'We've called your name numerous times and you never answered'. Baloney! We were literally standing next to the podium where you check in and pay. We are not deaf, old, or stupid, so this didn't play well for us. Given that it is super loud and unruly in there, they should have a pager system. And perhaps actually ask the people on both sides of the waiting area their names. Go somewhere else. read more

A very nice place to have brunch! Very clean and well decorated. Our waitress was awesome and friendly. The food is hot and fresh. Great customer service. Friendly all around read more

We stopped in town en route to Wisconsin and wanted a local breakfast - we are so pleased we found this cafe!! Everything was great, and the portions are generous; a few items deserve special mention: sliced-off-the-bone ham was spectacular and the fresh-squeezed orange juice, on its own or in a mimosa, were perfect! Toast and English muffins were nicely toasted, the house-made strawberry jam was perfectly sweetened. Omelets include 5 eggs and a healthy portion of the various selected ingredients! Nivia was an outstanding server and the coffee never stopped flowing! They even offered us coffee-to-go - nice touch! We ooooo'd and aaahhhh'd throughout the meal and our tastebuds are fully satisfied! We will definitely be back next time we're passing through town! read more

Very disappointed in the new menu. Many items removed and they no longer have hash browns.

This is an absolutely perfect place to eat. Great food, perfect service, reasonable prices and plenty of seating. We will visit here whenever possible. The servings are huge, a to-go box is likely. read more

Loved this place! Awesome choice of breakfast cocktails and meals! Started my day off with rumchata in my coffee and the arlington plate. So gooood! It gets really busy in here so best to come early. read more

OUTSTANDING! So happy I found this place....lovely decor, amazingly fresh and super hot coffee and the portions for the price of $9.99 was pleasantly surprising! I had 2 eggs over easy, cooked perfectly I might add, 2 very large pancakes, a generous portion of hash browns and a tasty piece of thick ham....The service was also very attentive and friendly. Totally recommend for all of the above reasons! read more

After removing the crab cake from my Benedict because it wasn't fresh, I ate the egg and English muffin. Because I worked in the service industry for many years, I am always polite and try not to complain but when the waitress asked how everything tasted, I was honest. She politely said that she would let her manager know who would likely discount the bill. When she came back to the table I was told there would be no discount because I had eaten it. I pointed at it still on my plate missing a bite and stated that I didn't eat it. She then said that she would send the manager over to discuss. Manager Emily told me that there is nothing wrong with their product and she can't help that there is something wrong with my taste buds. Several others had previously ordered with no complaints. It tastes fishy because it is seafood as if I've never had crab before. She then asked if I needed anything else. I said that an apology would be nice and she asked for what. I said for calling me a liar. She asked that I not put words in her mouth. If you tell me that there is nothing wrong with the product but I say that there is, you are in fact saying what I have said is NOT truthful/a lie. We paid using a gift card that still has money on it and I'm so hurt and disgusted at the way I was treated, it will not be used. P.S. We still tipped the waitress 20% as this was not her fault. read more

This restaurant is hands down one of the best I ever had! Ran in to this place driving cross-country and so glad we stopped here. I meant to take a picture of my Tinga skillet but it looked so delicious I forgot about the picture. Portions are huge, coffee is very smooth and don't forget to get a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. Also, the staff is charming and friendly. read more
