After a doctor's appointment, my wife and I were keen to grab something to eat. Acting on a friend's recommendation, we decided to try this place. Upon arrival, we waited a short while at the door before being seated. Once seated, it took a few minutes before a helpful young lady came to take our initial order, assisting our main waitress. Our waitress, who joined us shortly after, was very friendly and engaging. The place was clean with minimal decoration. Now, onto the food: I chose apple crisp pancakes, bacon with scrambled eggs and cheese, accompanied by an Irish Cream drink. My wife opted for shrimp and grits, the same drink, and a Philly melt to go. Our orders were served promptly. The pancakes started off well, but I noticed an unusual texture as I continued eating. Well that 7mins turned out to be 25mins , we asked," why are there 6 tables available and we couldn't be seated?" , the hostess replied," the kitchen is trying to catch up, and once they tell me no seating we can't seat anyone ". ok we finally sit down I ordered the shrimp and garlic grits omelette. grits was so watery, tasted like garlic water . when I told the waitress she then proceed to tell the cook very loudly i heard the manager/ cooks laughed . this place doesn't take there customers seriously . this is my 2nd time going the first time was aweful and this 2nd time , I took friends that came from out of town to try it out . since I've been to the head eggs up grill in spartan North Carolina and the food is excelllent .
