Our server checked with management, and came back to tell us they could do that. It was nice to be accommodated like that. We shared an order of tropical French Toast, and it was excellent. I had the 2 egg breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a biscuit. The eggs were perfectly cooked. Three others at our table had the Eggs Benny with crab and said it was real crab, very good. We all enjoyed some of the freshly squeezed orange juice. If I lived locally, this would be a regular place for us. The place was clean and friendly. If you are in town or live in the area, I highly recommend.

One thing we really appreciated was the size of the menu there were so many options to choose from, which made it easy for everyone in our group to find something they liked. The food was absolutely delicious and came out fresh and flavorful. Everything we ordered was prepared well and tasted great. It's always nice when a place delivers both good service and good food. We decided to sit outside, and the outdoor dining area was really nice. There was plenty of space between tables, which made it feel comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere outside made the whole experience even better and was perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling crowded. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Great service, a large menu with lots of choices, delicious food, and a spacious outdoor seating area. We would definitely come back again and recommend it to others looking for a nice place to eat.

If the food wasn't enough to make us repeat customers, having Matt as our server just made the whole experience feel like dinner with friends. We split a bowl of crab soup, pork belly rueben, crab balls, and basket of fries. Plenty for 2 people. The soup was super thick with some chunks of crab. It was cold (20-30 degrees), so this was a perfect dish for the weather. Not sure if I would get this on a 90-100 degree day though! The reuben had nice and crispy chicharron pork belly pieces. Would order again. The fries were crispy and plentiful (we chose Old Bay seasoning). Totally satisfied. The Crab Balls were good, but not necessarily something I'll likely crave. They came with a cocktail jelly (not sauce) and some tartar sauce. I would've preferred an aioli instead for them. The sauces were just unusual to me and let me down just a bit. Maybe it wasn't meant to be a jelly? Dunno. Ordered the sweet tea. No half & half options FWIW. Definitely a fountain tea like Brisk (not a fan). So, a solid 4 stars for this place. We'll definitely come back again and check out something else on their menu though.

The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The small soffrito bowl (about $11) is the perfect size to satisfy without feeling completely stuffed and uncomfortable. Their slow cooked pork is so good and moist. I had the same on my Huevos Rancheros on our third visit. I love Huevos Rancheros and I think this was the best version of it I've ever had! The eggs over easy were perfectly cooked runny yokes but fully cooked whites. I dug in too quickly to think to snap a photo first! The other big selling point for me is that they squeeze their own lime, lemon and orange juices so their house margarita at only $9 is absolutely delicious! It goes down too easily but with such a good price why not get a second?? Our second lunch I tried the mahi mahi tacos and I appreciated that the fish was grilled and not fried so there are menu options that are fairly healthy. This day I opted to only have 1 margarita and then have an ice cream at Fat Donkey Ice Cream directly next door. We liked eating outside on the front patio with the tiki-style thatched roof. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. Go check out the Tiny Turtle! We'll definitely be back!

We grabbed seats at the bar, and right out of the gate the experience was mission-ready. The girls behind the bar were awesome, friendly, attentive, and just had that effortless vibe that makes you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. Now the food... wow. Everything came out fresh, hot, and absolutely dialed in. The burgers were stacked and juicy, the sandwiches loaded, and those sidewinder fries? Forget it. Crispy, golden perfection. You can tell nothing sat under a heat lamp, this was all cooked to order and launched straight to the table. Best way I can describe it given the location... This wasn't just good food, it was a full-on flavor liftoff. Like sitting a few miles from Cape Canaveral and watching a rocket punch through the atmosphere, everything about this meal just took off and didn't look back. Great people, killer food, laid-back atmosphere... this place hits on all cylinders. We'll definitely be back for another launch

Very interesting and overly combative response from the owner of this establishment. (Their…read moreresponse and my original review are below.) Their response suggests that we only waited 35 minutes to get our food and that they make everything from scratch. There must be some underestimation somewhere in your timeline as the food we were served had to have been sitting for at least 10-15 minutes to get as cold as it was when it was served to us. As for us not giving you a chance to make things right, come on. My husband asked to be cashed out for the lemonade he had and that we couldn't eat food served this cold. Your waitress simply told us it was taken care of, to have a nice day, and turned and walked off. When my husband asked again at the front of the restaurant to be cashed out, the young lady at the front told us that if we were going to walk out there's nothing she could do. At no point were we offered to speak with management or to have our food remade. Later on when my husband called we were again given lip service with no attempt to make things right. I get trying to protect your business, but when your customer service is subpar you need to own that. At no point has this establishment offered to make this right. Very disappointed. Big Daddy J's 5 Great Things 3850 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 American Lacey Thomas 169 points 4 hours ago We waited almost an hour for our food. It wasn't even busy. When we did receive it it was the brisket sandwich was cold and the frys had been sitting there. Avoid this restaurant unless you want to wait and get cold food. Food 1 Service 1 Atmosphere 1 Response from the owner 2 hours ago Hello Lacey, we're sorry things didn't go right for your visit. We take guest experience very seriously so we made sure to review your visit and take notes for us to improve. At 1:45pm you were greeted and sat. Our server took your drink order @1:46pm and returned with beverages by 1:47pm. The order was taken @1:48pm and entered to our kitchen. At 2:15 our server brought refills and apologized for the food wait at 27 minutes in. The food arrived to the table at 2:23pm. 35 minutes after order. Now, let us say, that's never our standard, it's just not what normally happens. Having a 1200 dollar hour at 2pm is not typical. Thats a big hour for a small place. Our typical food ticket time at that hour is an 8 minute average. We're fast. But sometimes a perfect storm hits and we do the best we can with the hand dealt. We make everything from scratch and make sure to put love in our dishes. Had you not gotten up, and dropped your tray in our food service window and left after being in the restaurant a total of 35 minutes, we would have most certainly made things up to you. We pride ourselves on service. Man, we got buried, we admit it. However, we unbury well. We are definitely not perfect, and we make mistakes, but we're know for what we do after. Unfortunately you did not give us that opportunity. We understand when you're hungry and traveling, you need food in a timely manner. So 35 minutes may seem like an eternity, we feel you. We apologize you ran into our perfect storm. We take all of this very seriously and we will do things to improve, which has already started. We appreciate your feedback and we wish you safe travels.
