I throughly enjoyed my food and experience here. The food was really good, my favorite thing was the pancake I can tell they use a home recipe. I also good scrambled eggs with cheese, home fries (I was they were fried a little harder), turkey sausage, and some toast. Someone mentioned in a previous review that it's like eating at your neighbors house and that was 100% correct. The inside of the establishment is very cozy ! Just tried this place for the first time. It was delicious! My breakfast burrito was STUFFED and tasty! And they even folded it nicely so the insides didn't fall out- it was easy to eat! The only downside I can think of is the parking lot situation. It's a dead end, tiny, narrow, shill with about 15 parking spots. Doesn't look like much for the outside, but it is totally worth a trip inside! Pros: 1. The waitresses are so kind and attentive. I wish I remembered our waitress's name because she was stellar! 2. First thing to know, this place is super easy to miss even if you're looking for it, especially if you're heading on University Blvd away from the RMU campus. We accidentally passed it and turned into an airport shuttle lot. Once you find it, there's plenty of parking behind the restaurant. What was not true: I ordered blueberry bacon pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs. While everything looked very good, the eggs were uncooked in some sections. Sadly, the pancake had very little flavor, like none. It really tasted like flour. I was pretty sad. I was hoping for something a little sweet and a little salty. A great diner atmosphere that has a mixture of college students trying to sober up from the night before and old-time regulars (who are probably trying to sober up from the night before, too). The breakfast menu is huge and has something for everyone (I always opt for an omelet, which are pretty big). They have a great selection of bread choices also, which you wouldn't think is a big deal, but the more diners you go to, the more you hear "all we have is white, wheat, and rye." If there is one downside to Eggs N'at - and really, I can only think of one - it would have to be the size and layout. It's a perfect spot for a party of two, but anymore and you will (1) have to wait, and (2) likely be incredibly cramped. But it's worth it. Another piece of advice: if dining with anyone 60 and over, you might want to drop them off up front. The parking lot in the back is quite an uphill hike. read more

What's Hot - They serve breakfast all day (or at least until they close which is around mid afternoon). - Menu variety. This is the first place I've come across where the bacon is IN the pancake batter. Hubby is a pancake connoisseur and says it was quite good having savory with sweet. They have breakfast pizzas (which isn't something I've come across before), breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, etc... They also have nonmeat options, which is nice. There's something for everyone. - Quality. My omelette had fresh spinach, not frozen, which was awesome. Hubby's pancakes had plenty of fresh blueberries and bits of bacon, as well. Our food was delish! I didn't add hot sauce to my omelette, because it was already flavorful. - Price. My omelette was $8.99 and the pancakes were $7.99. Not bad, given the quality and the portions. - Portions. Definitely enough to get you full. No skimping on the size and the fillings that go inside your order. Hubby's pancakes were 3 pancakes, but because of the size and the fillings (blueberries and bacon), he was definitely full and did not need any sides. However, I noticed many other customers asked for takeout containers, because they were not able to finish their meals. What's Not - Layout. Inside is small and not a lot of seating. I don't recommend more than a group of 4. They have a counter and a handful of tables. To be fair, we came on July 4th, which is a national holiday, but on a weekday. My guess is it was busier than it ordinarily may be? However, it looks like it doesn't take much for them to get busy, especially because it's a small interior. Their kitchen is also small, so it looks like they can only handle so much. - Service. Their staff are nice and helpful. However, it doesn't look like it takes much for them to get busy. When it gets busy, service really slows down. You also pay at their front counter. Observations - Parking lot is a small hill in the back, so be prepared.
