Eggs N'at is a local diner that serves breakfast foods (e.g., omelets, burritos, egg sandwiches, eggs Benedict, pancakes, and French toasts) and lunch foods (e.g., burgers, cheesesteak sandwich, turkey club, wraps, and salads). Please see my attached photos for the menu in July 2025. Customers may either dine in or get takeout. My husband and I sat at an indoor table of our choosing. An outdoor deck also had seating. Our waitress spoke very nicely with us. We had a bit of a wait for our foods, but it was a busy weekend morning. I ate the Mama Evans' Blueberry-Bacon Pancakes. Three pancakes contained both blueberries and bacon pieces and tasted both sweet and savory. I personally prefer blueberry pancakes and a side of bacon, but I appreciated trying this unique mixture. My husband ate a Ham-Cheese Omelet with sides of chunky homefries and toasted bread. He liked it. We shared a half-sized Not Your Mama's Sausage Gravy and Biscuits. The spicy gravy was balanced with the slightly sweet biscuit. My husband said, "I'm glad we got it. It has good flavor." We both drank orange juice. The total price was $43 plus a tip.

I came here for the first time and was overall pretty happy. The place is very busy and there is no where to wait. While waiting for a table, I felt a little uncomfortable hovering around the people that were eating. The food was very good and fairly priced. I got a breakfast platter and everything was cooked perfectly. The peanut butter pancakes looked plain but they were packed with so much flavor. The potatoes were just like my mom used to make and that means they were absolutely delicious.

Tiny little spot in moon top, parking is behind the building. You might have to wait but it's totally worth it. Delicious food, decent coffee, excellent service.

Neighborhood staple! We recently moved to Moon & I miss having local spots to walk to or close enough to enjoy. We are surrounded by big boxes. I look forward to having this little joint at the end of our street to walk to. I grew up in the south so biscuits and gravy are a staple for me. Something I crave from time to time. I'd order their biscuits and gravy again and again! The omelets that I saw coming out of the kitchen were large and looked delicious. Service was great! Food came out a little slow but they were busy so not a huge deal. Wait staff was friendly and constantly checked in warming both our coffee and tea.

Another amazing breakfast at Eggs N' at! Server was great, kept our coffee and water full and very friendly. Love the miss matched random coffee mugs and great music playing. The food.... Amazing! Huge portions, Eggs were cooked perfect, potato's were crispy, sausage was delicious and the eggs Benedict you can't beat. Now for the star of the show the Boston cream pie pancake. Where has this been my entire life. I may get diagnosed with diabetes after eating this. It def felt more like desert than breakfast and was delicious!

I'm going to say this as an "outsider". Perfect small town diner. It's crowded, loud and busy but exactly as I'd expect. As a single, I was placed at the counter right away. Waitresses and kitchen staff are very busy but handle everything, professionally. Coffee cup was always full. Opted for The Eggs N At: 2 scrambled eggs, 2 turkey sausage links, home fries and pancake. Opted out of the toast that normally comes with it. Leaving with a full belly.

This is a quaint little spot that does breakfast from 7 am until 2 pm. The staff is friendly and helpful and down to earth. There is dine in or take out, you can also call in your order and pick it up. There is a private parking lot in the rear of the restaurant. The dining area is small but there is decent spacing between seats. I ordered an apple juice, omelete with cheese crumbled sausage and wheat toast. Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted.

The Wife, my friend Nick & I infiltrated this Pittsburgh establishment in our Niners gear bc that's how we roll. It's a tiny space but the service was good, and while the food took awhile, it was crowded in there so it was understandable. The wife got an omelette filled with veggies that she loved. I got pancakes and sausage & Nick got chicken and waffles. We met some other Niners fans in there and had a good time. The seating was tight but who's complaining? As long as the food was good and they treat us well, I'm good to go.

Well prepared fresh comfort food. The blueberry bacon pancakes were super yummy. The coffee is hot and the staff is very friendly. They have indoor seating and some tables on a covered patio. FYI, the patio is dog friendly

My fiancé & I ate here 1 Sunday for brunch & it was really good! The food was amazing fresh & plentiful. Prices were reasonable. Service was super friendly! Couldn't have wanted for better! The place was small, but worth it. You will probably have to wait, as there's not much parking room either. Definitely a great local place that's hole in the wall gem.

This place is small and definitely gets more crowded the later you go, but it's worth going early. The food was so delicious and the service was good. They had some very unique items on the menu, too. I wouldn't have expected to find crab eggs Benedict, but it was so good I might never have anything else there. Yum! I wish I'd known my meal came with home fries, since I'm not a big fan, but what I ordered was great! read more

Gigantic portions and the food tasted wonderful!!! Service was descent. You park behind the restaurant on a steep hill. The day I arrived it was raining and a truck had to stick it in four wheel drive just to get out. Definitely would go back read more

Just tried this place for the first time. It was delicious! My breakfast burrito was STUFFED and tasty! And they even folded it nicely so the insides didn't fall out- it was easy to eat! And they give you a side of salsa, which I looove! The biscuits were perfectly done-not doughy are all and the homemade gravy was fantastic! We will definitely be back! read more

I throughly enjoyed my food and experience here. The food was really good, my favorite thing was the pancake I can tell they use a home recipe. I also good scrambled eggs with cheese, home fries (I was they were fried a little harder), turkey sausage, and some toast. Someone mentioned in a previous review that it's like eating at your neighbors house and that was 100% correct. The inside of the establishment is very cozy ! They have handicap parking in the front and more parking in the back out the restaurant along with outdoor dinning. The staff were very friendly and fast. The bathroom was clean too! I paid $22.36 (got 2 orders) if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stop by for a different course. read more

Delicious! This is such a cute little restaurant that feels like you are eating at home. I went here for the first time on a Sunday during the after church rush, so it was extremely busy, however my boyfriend and I were seated rather quickly. I had a great experience. This is a breakfast place that is now on my radar, and comparable to the dor-stop (my favorite breakfast place)! Reasonable prices, huge portions, and amazing quality food. I ordered the banana chocolate chip pancakes, and they were fluffy, buttery, and decadent. The eggs n at special is the perfect breakfast; Eggs, your choice of meat, home fries, and one pancake. The only downside I can think of is the parking lot situation. It's a dead end, tiny, narrow, shill with about 15 parking spots. As you can imagine, that can become sort of tricky to navigate on a Sunday morning. Several people got done eating and left just in time for us to find a spot. I'll be back here again no doubt! read more

Doesn't look like much for the outside, but it is totally worth a trip inside! Pros: 1. The waitresses are so kind and attentive. I wish I remembered our waitress's name because she was stellar! 2. The food is DELICIOUS and is served in large portions. The home fries are seasoned perfectly, but I do prefer them a bit more well done. The sourdough toast was the perfect addition to my meal! Cons: 1. The parking lot is TERRIBLE. There aren't many spaces and the spaces that do exist are extremely sloped, which makes it hard to get in and out of your car. 2. It is soooo small inside. I felt very claustrophobic at our table, especially when people were standing around lingering for an available table. I am a sucker for good breakfast food, and this place definitely knows what they are doing! I would definitely visit Eggs N'at again as long as it wasn't too crowded or busy. read more

A friendly brunch place. Eggs N'at is a great choice for breakfast and brunch. The restaurant is cozy and comforting and the staff is very welcoming and attentive. Their eggs Benedict are executed well. Their hashes have good flavor though I wish the potatoes were diced a bit smaller to match the length-scale of the corned beef. The pumpkin pancakes were very very good and stood out. Their pancakes in general are highly recommended. Good food. Good value. read more

The first breakfast spot that I was introduced to when I moved here to Pittsburgh. I like the small diner setup along with the the mom and pop vibe. The food is pretty good and the staff is always awesome. I highly recommend anyone trying out Eggs N' at. The only thing that sucks is finding a parking spot. read more

The food was decent (especially the seasonal special peach pancakes), and the service was excellent. Way bigger building than it looks from the outside, wasn't as cramped as I expected. Bit awkward to have to come in from the back from the parking lot and walk through the dining area to the host. read more

A diner near my hotel near the airport. I was looking for breakfast and they have a small menu (good sign that what they do they do well). I don't know why but I was feeling like a burrito for breakfast so I went with the egg cheese and chorizo burrito. It hit the spot, the coffee was flowing regularly, and the folks in the restaurant seem to have a good relationship amongst themselves (another excellent sign). Inexpensive tasty breakfast served by nice people. Win win. The only thing even remotely negative I can say is that the salsa was obviously from a jar, but it's a diner in Pittsburgh. If you're imagining abuelita in the back making homemade salsa, get real. Yummy. read more

I had some time to kill before my flight so looked for a locals breakfast joint. Don't let the lack of curb appeal fool you. When you get inside and see the booths filled with happy patrons, you'll be glad you stopped. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. My coffee never got past half. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend the French toast. I'm glad I had time to stop. read more

Absolutely recommend the Ultimate Ultimate burrito, its not on the menu but is the perfect rendition of a breakfast burrito. If prepared by the right chef its a masterpiece. If you want to order it yourself ask for a breakfast burrito egg, cheese, sausage, bacon, ham, homefries, and spinach all inside the burrito. Perfection read more

First thing to know, this place is super easy to miss even if you're looking for it, especially if you're heading on University Blvd away from the RMU campus. We accidentally passed it and turned into an airport shuttle lot. Once you find it, there's plenty of parking behind the restaurant. It has a classic diner feel with plenty of seating and daily and monthly specials. I tried out the johnny cake special, which was pancakes with a cornbread element. Our food was great and the service matched it. It's an altogether solid breakfast/brunch option for the area, and something we'll likely take a second peek at if we're around. read more

I consider myself a basic breakfast person. Eggs, meat, and toast. It's surprising how many restaurants overlook the difference between over easy and over medium. Not this restaurant. This gem of a diner gets 5 stars for quality, presentation, timeliness, affordability, and service. One waitress serviced the entire diner and I never felt neglected. (Yes, it's a small place but her ass was hustling!) Eggs were perfectly over easy, toast was toasted, sausage links fully cooked with a little crispness on the outside, potatoes perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything came out piping hot and full of flavor. $7.99 for 2 eggs, 2 sausage links, 2 whole slices of toast (4 halves), and breakfast potatoes. $2 coffee (unlimited). If we are going off food let's start with that!! I am so happy that I found this place!! I had to help a co worker out today and I yelped this place:) so! Let's talk break fast! We got lucky and found parking and it was really easy to spot! It was right on university ave and if you use Yelp it has a picture of the location so just use that. Yes it's small, yes you will wait an extended period for your food, that's because it's homemade people!!! I landed on the crabby eggs Benedict! I love crab and wanted to try something new! It was me trying something new and I am so very glad I did! I wanted to really step out of my comfy food zone! I had never had eggs Benedict, I thought it was good The orange juice was really good! It tasted so fresh to me. I will be back and enjoy some pancakes or burrito next time. The 20% military discount was nice too!! read more

Saw this place when I came back home for a work trip. After reading the stellar reviews on Yelp I decided to give it a try. What was true: the service is top notch. The waitress was super fun and happy (it was 7:10am!). Very attentive and food was delivered quickly after ordered. What was not true: I ordered blueberry bacon pancakes with a side of scrambled eggs. While everything looked very good, the eggs were uncooked in some sections. Sadly, the pancake had very little flavor, like none. It really tasted like flour. I was pretty sad. I was hoping for something a little sweet and a little salty. Heck even a dash of vanilla would have been great. I would go back because of the service in hopes if I selected something different it might taste better. read more

This seems to be a very popular place, and very tiny at that. There is no where to really sit when you have to wait for a table. We waited about 10 minutes for a place to open up out on the deck (which thankfully is non smoking). Our waitress was good at keeping our coffee filled and the meal was excellent. The 45 minute wait for the food was truly the biggest downfall. I was so hungry by then anything would have tasted good. I think this would be a place if we lived in town we would go to once in awhile. The hassle of waiting detracts from the overall experience. My breakfast pizza (first time I have ever had that) was extremely good. Hubby went with the Arizona omelet. They do takeout as well so that might be a better option for some people. read more

"Eggs-traordinary Experience with a Side of Mushy Potatoes" When I arrived at Eggs n'at, I was surprised to see that the parking situation was about as generous as my Aunt Sally's compliments - not very. After a brief wait for someone to leave, I managed to snag a spot in the back, feeling like I'd just won a minor victory. Inside, the place was packed tighter than a clown car at a circus. Sunday morning, go figure. Despite the crowd, I didn't have to wait long for a seat, thanks to the bustling hostess and staff who seemed to have the energy of caffeinated squirrels. I decided to order the 2 eggs with hot sausage, home fries (which I cleverly substituted for a biscuit with a side of gravy - take that, carbs!). The eggs were solid, but the home fries were having an identity crisis. I expected them to be crispy, but they turned out to be smothered potatoes - mushy with a few hard bits thrown in for good measure, like they couldn't decide if they wanted to be mashed or roasted. The sausage wasn't setting my mouth on fire, but it did have a nice little kick, like it was trying to be daring but decided to play it safe. The gravy was the real plot twist - it had a hint of sweetness, which I wasn't expecting. It was like finding out your favorite action hero secretly enjoys knitting. Overall, the meal was decent for the price. Not exactly Michelin star material, but hey, it's called Eggs n'at, not Eggs n' Gourmet Delights. From the moment we walked in, this place impressed us with its warm atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding customer service. We stumbled upon this hidden gem and it absolutely did not disappoint. We ordered the hot chocolate, biscuits and gravy, eggs Benedict, and a breakfast burrito everything was cooked perfectly, well-seasoned, and served quickly. Eggs N At is a great diner that I've enjoyed many times. It has great food and also a unique attitude that screams Pittsburgh (hence the name)! Favorite meals include: crabby eggs Benedict, rum raisin French toast, and any of the specialty pancakes. Downsides are their coffee and the seating. You have to go early on a weekend to get seats, or you'll be waiting awhile. It's less crowded in the summer when the patio is open. However it's a fun diner, so I would recommend experiencing it at least once! read more

Don't question it - just go! Seriously some of the best breakfast food I've had - and I've had a lot! The restaurant is a little hard to get into since you park in the rear and walk up to the 2nd story to get inside (unless you're handicapped you get to park in the front).
