By far one of my favorite places to visit for breakfast on the weekend. Heads up this is a smaller place so if you're not there early then be prepared to wait for a seat. Food is okay, service is fast. Bathroom and corner table areas are dirty. Overdue for a much needed facelift! Prices are okay, depends on what you order. Great location BUT parking is a nightmare especially since the park and ride business next door takes all the available parking spots! It's a must try at least once but they are not consistent. This is the type of place that you are looking for in your home town that is close by, the hole-in-the-wall place that you need to eat at. The food is exactly how you would expect from a home kitchen. Fresh, and full of flavor. Very good food and prompt service. I have eaten here a number of times over the years (pre-COVID), and the food has always been consistently excellent. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is the atmosphere. It is cramped, crowded, and not good for bigger people. Their chairs also seemed kind of rickety. This is not fine dining, it's a breakfast/lunch place. And for that it's perfect. Great food, and plenty of it. Potatoes seasoned perfectly. Steak thick, a bit chewy like you expect in a diner, not gristly. I could have used more Hollandaise on my Eggs Benedict, but it was clearly made on site and delicious, not that mix crap that's used in other places. Service is pleasant and hopping fast. Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and was seated right away. Server was knowledgeable and very friendly. I had sausage gravy and biscuits and my wife had the eggs with kielbasa. Both had coffee which was good and kept filled attentively. Food was a little slow which is expected on a busy Saturday morning and that's ok. My wife's breakfast was very good other than the eggs being a little overdone, not the end of the world. My sausage gravy was mediocre at best. Biscuits were very good, sausage gravy just lacked any flavor whatsoever. Salt pepper and hot sauce couldn't even save it lol. Again not offensive but not good. Overall I would recommend the place just not for sausage gravy and Biscuits. read more

Casual restaurant with a very friendly vibe. It was a beautiful morning so my cousin and I chose to eat outside on the deck. Plus, we wanted to catch up and it was rather noisy inside with music playing(?) and the chatter of other diners. The waitress was very friendly and patient as we checked out the menu. We were very pleased with our meals. From the scrambled eggs to the French toast, bacon and home fries, all delicious, especially the home fries! We lingered long after we had finished eating just talking and enjoying the weather and one another. Since it was nearing closing time and no other patrons were waiting, the waitress had no problem with it and remained friendly while offering refills of our drinks. I'll be back in town next month and will definitely be back! read more

But I swear to you this is my new favorite breakfast. we were leaving for vacay later that day and decided to treat ourselves to breakfast to start the week. My sister works at RMU and has never been there so I took her. I had already scoped our the menu and had pre-decided on the Juevos rancheros because they came nacho style. I got the small version and a banana pancake and HO-LEE-CRAP. Yum yum yum. I could eat that meal for every freakin day of my dang life. The nachos were perfectly seasoned, the sauce was great, I cannot explain why they were so good. They just were. And the buttery, fluffy pancake was amazing. I will be making the 35 min drive from my house in Brentwood more frequently because it's worth it. Furthermore the service was great and the waitress was so nice and attentive. If you've never been there you might miss it while driving, located next to Globe airport parking. Front spaces are for pick up only, lot in rear. Approach from back lot is up stairs to back deck.Has outside option which is great on a nice day. Inside atmosphere is classic diner and waitstaff is great and works as a team so you're not waiting. Been there for breakfast and lunch (open 7-2) on way to airport several times and never had a bad meal. Omelettes are huge, pancakes are awesome (last time there had a single pancake as a side to veggie/cheese omelette). Ordered lunch once and had the best burger I have had in a long time. Would definitely recommend this place ahead of chains and airport restaurants if you have the time before your flight. read more
