I love this new option for breakfast! Even more so that the biscuits are scratch made! If you don't follow them on Instagram, I highly recommend that you do. They provide real-time updates to what's going on in the kitchen. This is something I really appreciate because their wait time can be beyond what I'm willing to sit for. If I check their Instagram, they'll post if it's a long wait, which helps me make my decision without actually having to go to the restaurant. I also like that they have an active mailing list. This week they offered free coffee with a purchase. Last week, they offered a BOGO. If you're not on their mailing list, I recommend you sign up. So far the deals have been great. I think the biggest thing that they're struggling with is flow and demand. They are a small business and locally owned so I think we just need to hang in there for a couple more months until they iron everything out. The quality of the sandwich for the price and size are very fair. We do favor the sausage and egg sandwich over the bacon just on sheer portion. Tried Eggbred in Fresno, which has only been open for about a week. I ordered the Nashville Hottie, a fried chicken sandwich, and the food was really good. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and definitely something I would order again. Service was good, and parking was easy. The one thing that surprised me for such a new restaurant was the cleanliness. The place already seemed like it needed some attention. The amazing wall art was noticeably dirty, and the floors looked like they needed another cleaning. Hopefully, this is just part of working out the kinks during their first few weeks because the food and service were both good. I tried a classic bacon, egg & cheese with applewood smoked bacon, egg, sharp cheddar, and smoked jalapeño ketchup on a toasted milk bun. The ketchup was a game changer for me and this sando as a whole was perfectly executed. I also sampled the country fried chicken sandwich and the Benny breakfast burrito. The paprika spread is fantastic on this sandwich. The milk bread was lightly toasted and was airy. I loved everything about this sandwich! Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from this place because my husband found it and wanted to come. Felt immediately welcomed upon walking in, the cashier and possibly manager was very attentive and friendly. Everything is made to order and it got a little packed after we arrived but we still didn't wait long for our food. So it seems like this is a "come early" type of place. I went with the Bacon Egg & cheese sandwich and I wasn't sure if I was going to like the jalapeño ketchup on my sandwich but it was a really nice touch! Soft opening today 9/3/26! I invited one of my good friends to join my toddler and I! We arrived just before 9am. There as no one there but us and all the staff who cheerfully welcomed us as we entered. This place is sooooo cute and beautiful, from the walls to the floor! They have quite the variety on their menu. The lady at the front was so kind and I asked her a few questions and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. Our order: Scrambled me softly, sausage and egg & cheese, and chorizo and egg breakfast sandwiches. They were all so delicious!!! The eggs cooked perfectly! The Japanese Milk Bun was so soft! Every bite just melted and was bursting with flavors! They may look small but they are filling! Grand opening is this Saturday, Sept 5th. Love how this place is casual, you order and take your seat. I came in around 9am on a weekday morning and it was the perfect time because the breakfast rush started at 9:30am and after that the line was always out the door! I tried the ribeye asada breakfast burrito, side of mac n cheese and the orange juice. They gave me the orange juice right away but I had to wait 10-15 minutes for the rest of my food. To be honest I was disappointed about the orange juice because I thought it would be more fresh and it also wasn't very cold but maybe I can ask for ice next time. I thought the Mac n cheese was okay but the burrito I loved. It was nice and hot and delicious. I do wish they had given me red salsa instead of green but they didn't ask which one I wanted. I wonder if the default they give is green. Will definitely be back to try something else! Also, one thing to keep in mind is that indoor seating is very limited. Egg Bred! A Sneak Peek Before the Grand Opening! I stopped by Egg Bred this morning before their grand opening on Saturday because I wanted to give it a try before everyone else discovered it! I ordered two things so I could get a feel for the menu: the Scramble Me Softly breakfast sandwich and the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. The Scramble Me Softly is made with soft-scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, a smoked paprika spread, and cheese on a lightly toasted milk bun. I'm not a huge fan of cheese, so I ordered mine without it, and I was not disappointed! The bun has the lightest, most delicate crunch while still being incredibly soft, and those scrambled eggs practically melt in your mouth. I do wish I had added another protein. Bacon would have been perfect, but even without it, this sandwich was seriously delicious. Next up was the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, which comes with their house-made beer-battered potatoes. I also ordered this without cheese. The little bit of crunch from the potatoes was such a fantastic surprise and added a great texture to the burrito. My only issue was the tortilla-to-filling ratio. Maybe it was just the way mine was folded, but there were definitely some bites where I felt like I was getting a lot more tortilla than filling. The flavor was still really good, though! They also offer both a green and red salsa. Neither was really my favorite, but if I had to choose, the red salsa was definitely the winner in my book. Since I ordered everything to go, once I got home I ended up using my own hot sauce instead. Overall, I'm definitely coming back! The menu is stacked with so many different options, and I love that there are tons of ways to customize your meal and make it your own. There's already plenty more I want to try, so I'll definitely be back to work my way through the menu. read more

Ohemgee! This place is SO cute, with QUICK service, and DELICIOUS food! I am so blown away. We tried the chicken and gravy sandwich and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches and both were exceptional. We went at 8:30 on a Friday and they were pretty busy (and it's a small space, fyi) but they had us in and out in about 25 mins total (about 10 mins after we ordered). Still TBD, but hopeful We came the day after Grand Opening, after our friend Sally recommended that we try it out. We ordered the Scramble me Softly and one of the Eggbred Cheeseburger. They said they just ran out of patties, so I opted for the Ribeye California Burrito. We also got blood orange juice x2, and the mixed berry cheesecake waffle. Now, I wish I could say we were impressed, but the amount of egg we had anticipated (esp from Sally's review and everything we saw on IG) vs what we actually got was so far apart that we couldn't help but chalk it up to, grand opening weekend and a full staff that was slammed and doing the very best they could (and they really were doing a stellar job back there). The food was still yummy, esp the dessert waffle, so we will definitely be back, hopefully without having to lower our expectations. Finally got to try EggBred and the Smothered Yard Pimp burrito was easily my favorite thing we ordered! It's loaded with buttermilk fried chicken, soft scrambled eggs, beer-battered potatoes, cheddar jack cheese, salsa verde, and country sausage gravy. There's a lot going on, but it all works together really well. Everything was flavorful, but that gravy was good and really made the burrito for me. Definitely a heavier breakfast, but worth it! The Ben Franklin was really good too. It comes on an English muffin with Black Forest ham, an over-medium egg, truffle-dressed arugula, and hollandaise on the side. I liked how well seasoned and flavorful everything was, and the arugula helped balance out the richness of the egg, ham, and hollandaise. We also tried the beer-battered potatoes. They're spiral cut, crispy, and seasoned with their house seasoning, so they're a little different from the standard breakfast potatoes you get at most places. Overall, I really enjoyed EggBred. I was at Trader's and I thought since I left a negative review it would only be fair to see if the owner listened. Night and day. Still busy but this time there seemed to be some structure. I credit the extremely competent manager. He was on it! Correcting orders, making sure food didn't sit at the pass and working the register. He basically did 3 jobs and and a great attitude. I got the cheeseburger and it was hot, fresh and tasty. It was a tad underseasoned for me and could have used some freshness such as iceberg but overall it was good!
