Usually I love these egg shops but for some reason this time it didn't agree with me I think maybe the sandwich that my friend ordered would be better than the tots. It felt a little too greasy and them adding bacon and egg I needed something fresh to cut the grease. It wasn't the best meal to eat before a road trip. I'd try something different t if I ever went again

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Egg Tuck is a quaint little breakfast place that's fun to try.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a very early day but wanted something different. This is the place! We ordered the original classic egg tucks. The brioche bread is baked fresh there and you can really taste the difference. Nice thick perfectly toasted slices not to mention that the eggs are soft, rich, creamy and unadulterated. You can really taste the egg. The chives and sriracha sauce are paired perfectly. They wrap the sandwiches very carefully and nice and neat. Keep in mind these are made to order and are huge! They are very very generous with the portion size. This was a unique breakfast experience that I'll be bringing everyone to try when I can. The only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 was that the coffee needs improvement. We took our items to go as we were headed to Wisconsin. Tip: After you order the coffee here, taste it before you leave. With a coffee here costing $4.50, you expect it to be good.

Delicious every time!! I got the eggs over medium on tots today with a cold brew. I love their cold brew. The tots were crispy, the eggs were perfect. In the past I have gotten the spicy burrito which is also delicious!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a small spot, so it's not really the place to go if you're looking to sit and dine -- but it's perfect for takeout![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their breakfast sandwiches are super fluffy, large, and absolutely delicious. Great option if you're in the mood for a breakfast sandwich. If you're in a hurry, order online and pickup!

I sought out Egg Tuck in Schaumburg after getting off work. I was very hungry and the anticipation began to be quite overwhelming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon walking into this little hot spot at 3pm, it was quiet and clean. The surroundings felt contemporary with a kiosk at the counter to place your own order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I ordered an avo egg sandwich. The kitchen/prep area behind the counter is semi open where you can see the workers moving around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My sandwich was ready within 5 min. The packing was nice and structured. The bread was thick and soft as well as toasted. There was a light mayo based sauce I believe present on the egg and avocado. The egg was light and fluffy which leads me to believe that it's not 100% pure egg. I would like to know what the egg is mixed with if it is. That's not necessarily a bad thing depending on what that ingredient is. The sandwich was really good beckoning me to want more. My only minor complaint is that the avocado was mostly at the top of my sandwich. The bread is not cut all the way through to the bottom, so the egg is really tucked in between. I would have loved for the avocado to have been distributed evenly throughout the sandwich.

We ordered this with bacon, in Texas it was always 2 full pieces of bacon, here 1/2 a piece.

Earlier this year we lived in Temple Texas, Egg Tuck opened a location and it was heavenly. Perfect in every way. Soft eggs, beautiful balance of butter on the signature brioche bread which each of the dozen times I had it was perfectly toasted. We are staying here in Schaumburg this weekend and when I saw Egg Tuck I was beyond excited to revisit my favorite breakfast sandwich. We excitedly opened up our Egg Tuck app, which had our favorite meal saved. We ordered and drove from our hotel to the restaurant. We un"tucked" our sandwich, which was unsettlingly greasy and saw a sloppy mess. Not a good first impression at all. The bread was too buttery, to the point of being soggy. The bread was also slightly burnt. The eggs weren't fluffy and light, not that they had the perfect bread bed that we were use to anyway. We ordered this with bacon, in Texas it was always 2 full pieces of bacon, here 1/2 a piece. Way too much mayo which made for a goopy mess. Not good or the standard we came to love about Egg Tuck. Sooooo disappointing!

This restaurant was a good find. I had only recently learned about Egg Tuck. It seemed to be a family-run restaurant. They have a good variety of options on their menu and they are reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and well-lit. The menu is on the wall above the ordering counter. I ordered a bacon & egg sandwich to go which had scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheddar cheese. The eggs were fluffy. The sandwich was flavorful. It was thick and loaded. I liked it a lot. According to Egg Tuck's website, their sandwiches are made with their house-made Brioche bun, fresh eggs, chives, signature egg sauce, and house sriracha aioli. That statement gets my thumbs-up approval. Their beverage selection was good as well. Next time I visit, I'll get one of their delicious choices. I received good service. I enjoyed my sandwich. I definitely recommend checking out this restaurant.

The way Egg Tuck scrambles their eggs is game changer and deserves a Michelin star for it. TRY.IT.NOWWWWWWWWWWWW My husband and I ordered carry out from here on a weekend day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a small establishment with about 10 - 15 indoor seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are 2 ways to order while at the location; via a kiosk or with a staff member at the front counter. We decided to order through the kiosk and the system was user friendly and easy to navigate. We didn't have much interaction with staff memebers since we used the kiosk. They did offer to help if we needed it and greeted us as soon as we walked in. For food we tried the Avo Egg sandwich, the Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich, and also a side of tater tots. We shared all the items and enjoyed everything. The sandwiches are on the heavy and messy side so be sure to have napkins ready. I was in the need for something greasy so I preferred the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. My husband thought the avo egg sandwich was lighter and he favored that 1 instead. Both are very good and I highly recommend getting a few diff options if planning to share. The buttery/garlicy brioche toast is thiccccccccck and toasted to perfection. The scrambled eggs?! SERIOUSLY... Do not change it to be cooked differently, YOU NEED IT IN YOUR LIFE. They are light and fluffy and soooooo good. The tater tots were crispy and delicious. We got a side of siracha aioli which we thought was a great dipping sauce option. If you're lookin for a 5 star breakfast sandwich I highly recommend checking out Egg Tuck.

Got a few sandwiches and tots to go to try this place for the first time. I've had similar sandwiches to these in other places like Houston and Vegas so I was excited to try it! The Texas toast is very buttery. I would recommend opening your sandwich and spreading the egg and other toppings back, it is only at the top part for presentation purposes. I got the avo egg with added bacon. The tots were excellent. My partner got the avo egg as well, and his personal preference he didn't love the buttery toast. I would definitely try it again though!

Finally got out to EggTuck to try some of their yummy breakfast offerings. The location opened about 2 months ago in the Schaumburg area and continues to get great reviews. I now know why! My partner and I stopped out to each try a sandwich and a drink. I got the Bacon & Cheese Sandwich which had scrambled egg, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, house sauce, sriracha aioli (opted for on the side) all within fluffy brioche bread. My partner got the Spicy Royal West which had a short rib meat patty, over-medium egg, cheddar cheese, pickles, grilled onions, house sauce, sriracha aioli between the same fluffy brioche bread. All ingredients tasted high quality and fresh. The bottom of the bread is not cut to alleviate food falling out the bottom but leaves the last third of the sandwich lacking. They do have vegan egg substitutes but the brioche bread is not vegan. For drinks, I tried the New Orleans Latte which was a specialty cold brew latte. It was strong with good flavor. My partner tried their original Milkis drink which is a Korean Cream Soda. The inside is very clean, food was quickly turned around, and I loved the food packaging as the sandwich does get messy. One does self order on a kiosk screen but it was easy to use and all menu items had larger descriptions listed there. Some items come at a premium cost but sandwiches were filling, made to order, and delicious! I will certainly be back!

Landed in Chicago and we were in search of breakfast...came across Egg Tuck. A new trendy breakfast spot originated in Los Angeles, and I will tell u Texas has not one yet! So we had to try them out..... Our order was brought to our table and the sandwiches came in boxes upon opening the boxes you will see they're wrapped in plastic as well to hold perfection in place of course. So Listen. This morning as I bit into my avo egg sandwich that made me question every life decision that didn't lead me here sooner. It was fluffy. It was toasty. It was...amazing. The egg? Perfectly cooked and ever so fluffy-like it knew it had a purpose. The bread? Toasted but not toasted just enough to hold everything together without shredding the roof of my mouth -And the cheese? Melted into a gooey love but also paired with a house siracha aioli and egg sauce and of course topped off with avocado!! We washes our food with the honey lemonade also amazing. Sandwiches were Sooo delicious and somewhat messy but so worth it! Service was fast and great. Very friendly and courteous staff. Definitely visiting again, and secretly hoping they build some in Texas soon. lol

I saw a newbie write that this place deserves a Michelin star. Sorry but they don't give out Michelin stars like it's candy. (I go to Michelin's myself, feel free to look at my reviews) However, for a breakfast/lunch place this is pretty decent. I'm no stranger to Korean toast. I saw this place advertised on an app so we decided to check them out. Parking is plentiful since it's in a shared lot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are about 8 tables with 2 chairs at each table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can order at the two kiosks or from the employee. We ordered the royal west, avo egg, and fluffy egg tots. The sandwiches took like 8 mins or less. The tots didn't take too long either. Service was friendly. Prices were fair. Overall, it's about a 4 for me. Why only 4 and not 5? I think the apple and orange juices are overpriced since they're not even made in house. I saw them using juices that I could have gotten from a grocery store. They charge $3.50 for one cup, for double that you can just buy the whole gallon. $2 would be more appropriate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They don't have a restroom, so you'll need a lot of napkins and hand sanitizer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sandwiches are very messy if you eat by hand. -royal west 5 - this one has a Korean patty with a medium egg, and pickles. They have other ingredients but the ones I mentioned truly made the sandwich tasty. -avo egg 5 - not as flavorful as the royal west but still pretty solid. -fluffy egg tots 5 - I really liked the way they made the scrambled eggs. Tater tots were crispy. The house made egg sauce and spicy aioli were delicious.

A very simple layout, order at the counter - wait for your food. or eat in the adjacent dining area. Decor was fantastic, especially in this gross dreary not-winter-but-not-spring weather today, with a bright blue wall and beautiful photo/wallpaper and a cherry red car grill. Started with the Kola and the café con leché while we waited for our food. When the beef pastry was ready, it was brought out immediately. I was expecting something kind of like a Jamaican beef patty, but this was more like a delicate croissant like pastry with some very delicious beef inside. It was so good. Then our meals arrived.
