The egg rolls are no longer king here. They were gummy & unfilled. Mostly wrapper. Tried the chicken chow mein as well. It was mostly noodles and sprinkled with just a little bit of mediocre tasting chicken. Menu has too many items on it. Should be curtailed & improved. If I could give this place zero stars I would. We decided to stop because the drive thru line looked short.... Compared to what it had been. They dont take orders till you get to the window. We figured it was great That's why the line was long. NOT THE CASE. Not a single car was served in the 45 minutes we sat there, we only moved up because people in front of us had left. Finally I went inside to see what was going on and the lady told the people ordering that they would have at least a half hour wait. At that point we were still 3rd back in the drive through. We left, and so did the car behind us. So I cant rate them on food, only service. We wont be returning. Waste of 45 minutes of our lives. Did the drive thru for a sushi bowl thinking that it was gluten free (all sushi is), but when I got home it had crunchy panko on top and squirted with a thick soy sauce (has wheat in it, as does panko, so can't eat it). And it didn't include the seaweed salad that it indicated it had. What a bummer. Can't eat it, so I go hungry for lunch. At least my cats could eat it. read more

This was our first time here. Been wanting to go there since they reopened. What a disappointment and so expensive for what you got we spent nearly $40 the egg rolls tasted like they were pre Frozen in fact the Cabbage reminded me of wilted coleslaw inside. The food have little to no flavor and the combos should have had fried rice and I'll look like with white rice with a couple Flex a piece and a couple Flex of egg definitely not fried rice no meat the chow mein had no meat and once again no flavor it was such a disappointment we will never go back again. This place used to be very good, with good food and good prices. The prices have increased, but the quality has decreased immensely. Today we ordered the Almond Chicken, in which there were no almonds, and the Sweet & Sour Pork, on which the tempura batter tasted like it had been around for a while and had picked up that funky too-long-in-th-refrigerator taste... Highly disappointed? There was shrimp in my Mongolian chicken which was drowning in onions and peppers but somehow so bland. Also side note, I ordered teriyaki beef. The chow mein tasted like cigarettes and a dirty motel room and I couldn't even eat one bite of it. I also ordered boba tea which was somehow crunchy. The only good thing in my plate was white rice. My first, my last. Its a brand new building and I was so excited after driving by so many times. Service was good however........ the burnt looking egg roll was soooo stretchy and inside was only bland cabbage with an occasional carrot shred. I WANTED IT TO BE GOOD!!!! I can't figure out why that sells. We came home only for a family member to lose thier lunch. The shrimp appeared to look like a frozen entree and the beef in the flavorful beef chow mein could not be broke down and after 3 minutes of chewing had to be removed from my mouth and thrown away. It is definitely not the best Chinese food in town. It is cheap and fast so that is a positive. The restaurant itself is rundown and dirty and did not pass a lot of the criteria when they had their health inspection. The food is just ok. Specials run under $5. A lot of food for your buck. I've ordered the sweet & sour chicken altho I wouldn't recommend it. the sauce seems t/b made of watered down ketchup and is super nasty. General Tsao and Lemon Chicken Specials are great. I don't care for their fried rice, and, on occassion the steamed rice is undercooked. It is, however, my preference, as their chow mein is prepared with thick noodles and waaaay too heavy. All to go orders are served w/an egg roll, sweet & sour sauce, Kimlan Soy Sauce, fortune cookie, fork and napkin. The drive-thru mic is dreadful. However, they are fairly quick to fry up an order. The earlier one arrives in the day, the fresher the food, and, the better the owner's disposition. He can be a little snippy from time to time. read more

If you like your food soaked in grease, this is your spot. I ordered Pork Foo Yung and it was so greasy you could hardly tell that was egg in there....it sort of "flaked." Gross! I had horrible indigestion afterwards and it felt like I had eaten a lead brick. The drive thru speaker was broken, so I had to pull forward to the window to order. Well I ordered the cashew shrimp and said I didn't want a meal, when I got to the window it was a lot more Money than I thought it was going to be, I thought maybe I seen the price wrong I get home to see I have rice with my food that I didn't order. I went there for the first time yesterday. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken combination. The "fried rice" looked and tasyed like they forgot to cook it in a wok. The Sweet and Sour ?pork? Tasted off. The servings of the chow mein, rice, and Kung Pao Chicken were not as big as I get at Maple Garden across the street. I don't think that I will try it again. Staying at nearby rv park, wanted someone else to cook. Kind of awkward lot to get into but not bad. Quick service, food was good and plentiful for reasonable price. Husband got hot mustard for his egg roll- said was HOT. Cashew chicken had plenty of cashews and chicken- not skimpy. read more

Egg Roll King was actually a Dairy Queen until it had a sex change and went east. The only thing I can remember eating here was the sweet and sour wontons, and they were OK. This is not the best of Chinese Restaurants, but the prices and quality of the food is good. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef Combination (beef, sweet & sour pork, rice, chow mein, and egg roll). But if you don't like hot foods avoid eating the red peppers, as they are especially hot. I give this place a rating of 3 stars, primarily a 2 for ambiance and cleanliness, and a 4 for the food. read more

I really enjoy egg roll king. I love the food! It's always made exactly how It should be. But the only thing I do not enjoy is the customer service, I understand a long wait when there's a ton of people ordering. But when you're the only one in line and have already sat at the ordering window for almost 10minutes with out anyone checking in to take your order.. just isn't very professional. Then when I drove to the pick up window (because I still hadn't made my order) they were extremely rude. The 3 employees wouldn't come to the window to see what was up, they just stared at me. After about another 5minutes of me waiting there, one finally came to me after she got off of the phone. She wasn't very polite when taking my order or even seemed "friendly" was not happy to be there was my impression. Like I said.. the food is phenomenal but the customer service is not, at all. I would love to recommend this place if you're not in a hurry and can ignore the negativity that the employees put off. read more

There is no deception with Egg Roll King, it definitely lives up to it's description as a Chinese fast food restaurant, even though the drive through is barely operational really isn't needed. The food is actually pretty good as long as you're not expecting a gourmet, authentic Asian cuisine. And the portion sizes are so ridiculously large that is hard to image you're not ripping the restaurant off by eating there. read more

I ordered Something, they got it wrong, so I went back in to have them fix it only to be told I had to pay more to get what i originally ordered in the first place. You can see them cook your food when you order and the portions are large. This is a great take out place. The food is cheap & good. I swing by a couple of times a week when I'm too tired to cook. Vegetable chicken is one of my faves, I feel like I'm still eating healthy, but don't have to cook it myself. The building is the old Dairy Queen, so I suppose they do what they can with what they've got. This is more a takeout place than a restaurant. Chinese fast food, indeed. read more
