For starters we each received a small chilled watermelon topped with creamy burrata (surprisingly delicious together) and vegetable crudités with spicy aioli. In the end we shared three desserts plus a complementary birthday dessert: Best panna cotta around : soft textured and lots of berries, Walnut cream brulee - not overly sweet and wonderful sugar crust crunch, Mango sorbet and a bread pudding topped with dark chocolate plus a burnt caramel sauce. Highly recommend reserving ahead. Would love to come again for my next family birthday. I believe the menu may have slight changes from time to time. Very personable serve and wait staff. Cozy and smallish space, music might be a tad loud but not anything distracting. Saw many family with little kids so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

I actually really liked breaded shrimp. It was very crispy and the batter wasn't too thick. The tar tar sauce it came with was so good. The Hamburg steak was really good with the Demi glaze sauce. Both these dishes came with some noodles and potato salad. The seared scallop was slightly fishy to me, but overall the dish was still good! It was a mushroom risotto and it was very creamy.

The staff was welcoming and the restaurant cozy and simple. It reminded me of the kind of small town restaurant you might find in the mid-west, unassuming but friendly, with a nice family and "after church" kind of vibe. Service was prompt, the waitress friendly. Coffee and drinks came very quick. I had a California omelette with roasted portables. A good choice, it was tasty and filling. Definitely try the banana bread as a side. It is excellent! Also worth getting one to go. Overall, eating at the Scratch Xafe was a good experience, and I look forward to eating there again soon.

Harry's Cafe has a few different locations throughout Orange County; I chose to eat at the one in Stanton on Katella Avenue and I was more than satisfied with my meal and subsequent service from cashier/cook. Food is made fresh to order and they don't skimp on portion sizes. it is ideal &convenient for a fast food, quality restaurant. The milkshakes are out of this world, I recommend getting cookies& cream, as I slurped it down in minutes, it was the best milkshake I ever had! Moreover, I love to support those who may have it all but still consider others. The owner of Harry's Cafe also gives back, out of his own time and money to those in the community who don't have a place to spend Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving Day, he prepared a huge full course dinner including drinks to those who didn't have a place to spend the holiday. All day, him and his volunteers wear aprons and serve his homemade Thanksgiving dinner to the public, Anyone and everyone is welcome. I was an attendee that wasn't included in any plans so I forced myself to get out of the house, socialize and eat. Thank you yo this generous owner, my past 2 Thanksgiving Dinners have been complete. I will continue to come to Harry's Cafe (any location is great) when I'm in the area. This is a genuine establishment with an owner who has a heart of gold and thinks of those less fortunate and that makes all the difference to me!
