Slow service...ordered Avacado smash ham sandwich...asked for avocado to be on the side and was told there was a upcharge to have it on the side even though it was going to be on my sandwich. I was reluctant to write this review because it's like telling someone your secret fishing hole. But let's go. This place gets 5 stars from me every time. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food is always delicious. I won't lie, my girlfriend and I have our favorite waitress; Ace. She knows us so well now, she comes to greet us with the Diet Coke my girlfriend enjoys. She adds to the atmosphere. Go early though. This place gets jumping fast! We had a great breakfast this morning. We arrived a little before 8:30am and there was no wait. Our server was very nice and took our drink orders. Coffee, milk, and apple juice between us. I ordered the meat lovers skillet with pancakes, hubby got the chorizo omelet with pancakes and our children got a breakfast burrito with hashbrowns and mickey mouse pancake with bacon. Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. I added a little chalula to my skillet because I like a little spice. Hubby loved the omelet because it was fluffy & filling. Fast to seat but service was bad after. Took quite a while to check for refills on coffee and bringing a very hot plate out for a kids meal is NOT a good look. Food wasn't really good. Eggs were hard boiled not poached well. There is a difference. Sweet potato fries were tasty. The Turkey avo wrap was 3/5. I didn't even realize I had to go up front to pay. Wasted a good 10min and even with the manager or owner coming over I wasn't directed to pay anywhere. So odd. Overall not a place I would come back to. Tried this place for the first time today. My husband had the Parisian plate and really enjoyed everything. I had the veggie omelet and added Jalapeños. It was cheesy, seasoned well, fluffy eggs and fresh veggies. Best omelet I've ever had. I wish the hash browns were crispier, but next time I'll request that. Get the Banana Choco Caramel Upgrade on your waffle, it is absolutely worth it! I got the Waffle n More with two eggs, two bacon, and two sausage. The sausage was still piping hot and sizzling when the plate came, and everything else was fresh off the heat too. The waffle itself was really big, and when it came out was still nice and crispy. That didn't last long with the chocolate, caramel, and maple syrup that I poured on it though. It was super super messy, but also incredibly good. I absolutely loved the flavor of the chocolate; it wasn't sickingly sweet but it also wasn't bitter, and complimented the whole waffle very well. Definitely surprised with how much banana there was, but I will never complain about that. Though I'll be sure to ask for the whipped cream on it next time, because that can only make it better The owner, I think, was always chatting with the customers and making everyone feel very welcomed, while also making sure your needs were taken care of. Egg House Cafe is a small friendly CLEAN restaurant. We are here on our way home from Winstar on the 4th of July and I found it on Yelp. We entered to smiles and warm greetings from all servers. Food was delicious, fresh, hot and flavorful. I had a breakfast sandwich. It was flavorful and the bread was very soft! The potatoes that came with it were seasoned perfectly and with a nice little crunch. My husband was envious considering he chose the hash browns. They weren't bad, just not as good as the breakfast potatoes. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he was very pleased. He's also a stickler about his eggs and was happy with the soft scramble! Do yourself a favor and don't eat here! We waited 50 minutes AFTER being seated before we decide to leave since our food hadn't arrived. However, several tables did get their food that were seated after us!
