Excellent location and service! Brought my parents and better half for lunch. Everything was tasty. We opted to sit outside on the patio and was a little disappointed to find: 1. The roof was made out of aluminum so every time the sun was out, it felt like we were in a sauna! 2. The fans were stationed but couldn't be turned on as electricity hadn't been installed yet. Fortunately, the sun wasn't out the majority of the time so we were able to enjoy our meal comfortably most of the time. Our server was excellent and attentive and the ability to pay from our phone using a QR Code at the bottom of the receipt was pretty cool. Will definitely be returning! read more

Management asked me to give them another try, and on a sunny and warm Sunday I dropped by for brunch. I dropped in incognito so my experience would accurately reflect a typical customer's. Unfortunately the service was a disaster. But at least the food was better this time. After being seated and looking over the menu I decided to go with a dish that's more of their strong suit versus the disappointing biscuit on my last visit. I thought I'd go with Matt's Meaty Skillet, with eggs over easy with the addition of onions and mushrooms. Looking at the sides I was curious about the premium Cherrywood Smoked Bacon, so I thought I'd give that a try. After making my meal decisions, I realized that no wait staff had ever come to the table. That normally happens right away to at least get your drink order. Perhaps they were waiting until I finished studying the menu, so I set it down and pushed it away so it would be clear that I was ready to order. No one came and it started to get awkward, as if I'd been seated at a table that didn't have anyone assigned. I made a note of the time, and it was about another 5 minutes before my waitress appeared to take my order. She left as soon as I mentioned my drink choice and didn't give me a chance to place my order. The drink was placed quickly and I was able to place my order and my special requests were noted. I didn't see her again until I was taking the last bite of my entree, when she brought my check. My drink had gone dry long before that, and she never checked back at my table, nor did any other staff. The food was good, with the eggs cooked to order and the skillet additions apparent in the dish. It came out quickly and served fresh and I found the flavors savory. The special bacon was nice, but not crispy or of a flavor especially unique so that gamble didn't pay off. A really homey restaurant in Alpharetta that serves up hearty brunch. I had the Ultimate Skillet while my bf had the guac and roll omelette. We also had their signature Strawberry Orange Juice. Perfect balance of sweet and tartiness. The waitress was very accommodating. There was a sauce in a Shashuka dish that I wanted to try and they were okay with letting me take it on the side. While the skillet was delicious, most of the potatoes were over cooked a tiny bit leavjng very bitter taste in my mouth. That and they made up aa good half of the skillet. I ended up having to scoop out most of the potatoes because that's all I tasted. The egg was cooked sunny side up to perfection kistnthe way I asked for. The Guac and Roll Omelette was great. Their Guac was on point with the right amount of salt. Each of our dish came with English muffin and their housemade jam. It was veery delicious and sweet. Definitely a good palette switcher from the savory. Overall a nice brunch spot to try out if you're around in one of their multiple locations in Atlanta. read more

We decided to try a new place for brunch this weekend. We chose Egg Harbor Cafe after looking at the appetizing menu. This restaurant is hidden off a side road. We accidentally passed it on our way there and had to turn around. It's attached to an empty storefront that has a very different exterior style. The interior is so cute! I love the paintings of farm animals found throughout the dining area. They offer several specialty coffee beverages, including holiday flavored drinks around the holidays. I tried the Bavarian Benedict which sounded tasty but was very bland. The potato pancakes had much less flavor than I expected from latkes I've had in the past. I really was surprised there were not more breakfast places close to NP mall. We went here thinking that this chain was above average. It was not. My friend had the waffle roll up. It just seemed ok, pancake with stuff inside. He tried to get his over cooked egg re done to what he ordered, over easy, but when it came back, the whites were still runny. The server was GREAT ! John was his name. I ordered corned beef hash and it was good, not great but not bad. We brought it to the attention of the manager there and she really did not seem to care... too bad to waste such a great server on such a non caring restaurant. read more

We have been to the other Egg Harbor locations and always had an amazing experience . This made us try the Alpharetta location , it turned out horrible for us . My son's chicken was a little cold, felt odd but wanted to try the rest of our food .They served my husband his strawberry orange juice in a cup which had lipstick smudge , we lost our appetite after this . We notified our sever who spoke to the manager , Someone stopped by apologized and mentioned we will get 25% discount on the cheque . We just paid our bill without finishing our food to leave,when I noticed the fruits bowl we got part of the omelette , the blackberry had fungus on it . I notified them again and they gave us a gift card for the bill amount . We are never going back here , they seem to be serving spoiled food , will cause food poisoning or some stomach issues. read more

Had a nice experience with an awesome and friendly waitress. She was very quick and very helpful. The food was good. I had a new seasonal item called Venetian Bagelwich. The sandwich was very good but the potatoes came out cold. Our waitress immediately remedied them. The manager was also very friendly. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing seems $2-3 higher per breakfast item than what it should be. (A bagel and egg sandwich and potatoes $14 with tax.) Eh? read more

Came here with friends for brunch! I happened to crack my phone screen pretty badly so no pictures were taken of this visit. On Friday morning there was no wait, and our server was hilarious! We all enjoyed our food. I personally had the shrimp & grits--very filling but very good. I love that they have lots of healthy options but also splurge items as well. I had a pot of coffee at the table, so I could refill my cup as needed. This is a solid breakfast place! They also serve lunch as well, but I haven't tried it yet. read more

We had a horrible experience at this restaurant. I would strongly suggest that you visit the Johns Creek location or another location of you really want Egg Harbor food for the foreseeable future since they are understaffed and they are serving spoiled food and drinks. They do not hold themselves to a high standard of quality. Based on our experience, here are the suggestions we offer to this location: 1) Avoid serving spoiled food and fermented, spoiled drinks that cause food poisoning and stomach issues, 2) Avoid missing 4+ items in a modest order and only bringing 3 back after notified, 3) Build more accountability among your staff for good customer service, 4) Provide accurate wait times, 5) Fix the crumbling concrete in the parking lot, which is near the disabled parking and that can causes falls or other issues for people with limited mobility, 6) Use systems internally that set the staff up for success (the labels on to-do orders tracking the number of drinks and for quality control purposes were not filled out), 7) Treat customers as you would like to be treated. read more

This breakfast restaurant chain is an answer to my pray with their attention to details and better quality products. They used the coffee from a Chicago-based reputable specialty coffee company like Intelligentsia. Their ketchup is organic and contain no high fructose corn syrup which is not good for the diabetic patients. The salt in grinder is Mediterranean Sea salt. The hot sauce is no typical Tabasco but the iconic round wooden cap, Chola, Mexican hot sauce. Now, they add in the upon request/No straw policy to decrease the plastic waste and save the Earth. I am impressed and applause their course. The drink menu offers more interesting selection of breakfast such as the chia and turmeric smoothie or the matcha latte. The service is great. The waiter replaced the soften Belgium waffle with the buttery and crisp waffle. The bacon is crisp and not too salty like other major brands. They also offer the gluten free menu. I love their coffee mug. It deserves five stars but I have to deduct one out for the first softy waffle. read more

This place is my favorite place to eat for breakfast or lunch. I just wish that they still do service for dinner. Cause then you can get awesome tasting food all day. My favorite meal has to be the chicken and waffles but if you want to get those get there early. Because they might run out! But the service is also great. When you walk in they give you a correct time of how long the wait is. And the food comes really fast and they get your order really fast. I enjoy this concept and used to go on a fairly consistent basis before COVID-19. I went today to enjoy a girls day out with a friend and we had a good time. (She had never eaten at Egg Harbor before and was pleasantly surprised). I ordered the garden scrambler with the breakfast potatoes fried versus baked so that they would be crispy. The portion size is always good regardless of the location I go to. I like the fact that the hostess takes the temperature of all guests upon entering the location. Also, I liked how they had sanitizer available throughout the restaurant for all to use. The restroom was well maintained. All of the staff that we interacted with were personable. Today I ordered a Belgium Waffle with extra syrup for delivery with Door Dash. It arrived with NO SYRUP. After several attempts calling someone finally answered the phone and told me they couldn't do anything on their side. Door Dash would have to remedy the situation. Came here for lunch with two coworkers. We were seated immediately, but then waited 15 minutes before anybody came to the table. I'm not sure why it took so long to get anyone to wait on us, literally half the tables were empty. Once our orders were finally taken it didn't take long for our food to arrive. If you're looking for a great breakfast and brunch spot, look no further! This was our first visit here and we were pleasantly surprised! They have a huge coffee bar menu ranging from americano to a turmeric latte. The turmeric latte was amazing! My husband ordered the grits and eggs. The bacon and cheesy goodness really hit the spot. I ordered cassie's crêpes, which had avocados (my favorite!). The flavor wasn't as good as the shrimp and eggs, but it was still yummy. The potatoes were alright. We are definitely coming back to try lite, the next time we're in town! Also, the customer service was amazing. They're so friendly and professional. We also appreciated the pitcher of ice water on each table (no need to wait for your glasses to be refilled) and they brought us extra napkins without us asking. Been three times. It's the closest breakfast place to us and we eat out a lot so we were excited when it opened. Unfortunately the food has been a letdown, just average compared to the other locations. Crepes lacked flavor and they told us later the kitchen staff were new and didn't mix it right. Also an order came out without the eggs and got cold waiting. One of our biggest challenges here has been the acoustics. Everything echos throughout the place. The front staff is great and very understanding. We ordered for Aztec egg, southern skillet, salmon Benedict and the fresh orange & orange-strawberry juice. Everything was great, juice was freshly squeezed and pretty good until we ordered for challah toast which was super dry and was basically just slightly toasted bread with some fruits (strawberry & banana). A little heads up on how dry it would be without Nutella and mascarpone would have been great. The dessert really left us with a bad taste in our mouth.
