As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the person at the front. I was asked if it was ok to sit at the bar. I said yes and I was seated right away. The servers were very attentive. My order was taken right away. I was 1st asked if I wanted a drink. I ordered an OJ,water and a coffee. When the server came and asked me for my food order. I ordered the Barrington Benedict. The food came out pretty fast and it was so delicious. The ambiance is very cool, laid back and chill. Since my boxing class is close to this place. I will definitely be back. Great service, great food, what else can you ask for..

Egg Harbor Cafe over by North Point Mall could get 5 stars for their gf cinnamon rolls alone. I love those so much! It's rare to find amazing gluten free menus but Egg Harbor has it!! We had a huge family birthday brunch here and the staff was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The cafe has a casual vibe, so come as you are, enjoy coffee and cinnamon rolls and you will have the best day!

Gluten-Free Habanero Hash Side with 2 Eggs

If you have an Egg Harbor Cafe in your area, I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a great breakfast spot. My husband and I love this place (particularly the Alpharetta location). The price paid for the amount of food received is amazing. I personally am always filled up on their sides alone. The interior seating is quite homey and offers tables for all different family sizes. Egg Harbor offers rewards that rack up with each visit and can amount to $$$ off your total bill. The service has always been amazing here and another huge plus is that you are able to add yourself to any waitlist from their website. My usually order here is a side of Habanero Hash Browns topped with an egg - sometimes two. The Habanero Hash Skillet entree is my favorite. However, I always have leftovers. While that is essentially not a "bad thing," I am usually grabbing breakfast here before running errands. Having leftovers requires me to head home and get them in the refrigerator first. The side of Habanero Hash gives me just enough to finish in one sitting and adding the eggs gives me the protein I am looking for!

Chilli was cold, chicken was dry, avacado spread looked like they got it from Costco. The service was good but the experience this time was weak. We have been here before so I'm not sure what changed but today wasn't worth $76 for breakfast. Oh, the grits looked they were made about two hours ago. I heard the guy on the other side of our table asking about the food as well implying it sat for a while before being brought to him.

Came here for the first time with some friends who are familiar with the chain, but not this location! It was so nice discovering this place that was near me. Instantly, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated right away! The interior was cozy and farmhouse-like, encapsulating the perfect breakfast place. I ordered the Lobster Scrambler, and our waitress was super sweet! Food came out super quickly and was steaming hot. The scramble was absolutely scrumptious with the chunks of lobster and seafood. The potatoes were flavorful and crispy, and the English muffin was soft and warm. The jam--wow the signature jam was amazing! Overall, an amazing breakfast experience and definitely will be returning!

Hitting this place on a Sunday was a chance, but we took it and found it very.. okay. The staff were slammed, we saw our waitress once but she was sweet and very kind. The menu is good but the food was pretty okay. The portions were also on the smaller side for the price. That said maybe it was our order. I tried the biscuits and gravy and my friend had the lobster omelet. The biscuit prortion was a single biscuit cut in half and the gravy, while tasty was kind of sparce. The potatoes, however, we're excellently seasoned. I'll give it another shot but we definitely needed a snack after.

The food was amazing! Manager Rayan and the entire crew were very welcoming from the moment we walked in. Josseline, our waitress, was incredibly kind and attentive. They truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the great experience--keep up the good work!

The food was delicious and the service was great. One suggestion I have for those who are eager to eat here is to make sure you make reservations on the weekend. It can get busy and the wait may be extensive if there's a holiday or a typical brunch time. The overall atmosphere is a bit noisy but generally, you're able to have a conversation. I can't say enough about how nice the wait staff was and their patience with our questions. I highly recommend coming here but always make sure you're prepared when you do!

We have been coming to Egg Harbor Cafe off and on after church for about 2 years now and it has never disappointed! Has there been an issue here and there... sure but generally they have always had descent service and good food. I have tried just about everything on the menu but my favorites are anything that has their marinated chicken in it. Man this stuff is good! But do get here early as more times then not they sell out and when it's out for the day it is out! The location is close to our hose and on the way home from church so it makes a perfect spot to stop at. The food in general is eggceptional. They do have cocktail options... bloody Mary's and mimosas as well as other things. They do barista style coffees as well that are also quite nice. This has become a go to place for Sunday brunch for us... it does get busy on Sundays so get your name in on the list or you could be waiting for a while. We truly enjoy it!

Best to PASS this place! Because I could not forget... - - - Food and Service were both terrible!! NOTHING came out as ordered. Under cooked, soggy and greasy. Our waitress couldn't be bothered. Took forever even to get our bill too. +. Only thing good about it was their empty parking lot.... That should've been the clue. WORST restaurant in at least a year! They may win that award for 2023. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE...WHERE have you been all my LiFe!

Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded before we were even seated. When I walked into the restaurant, I was completely ignored by a young blonde employee named Claudia who was standing behind the counter in the waiting area. She looked directly at me and continued what she was doing without so much as a greeting or an acknowledgment. A simple, "Good morning, someone will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Since no one else was in the lobby and I noticed a clipboard on the counter, I politely asked if there was a waitlist. Claudia responded with an attitude that she "wasn't the hostess." I calmly asked where the hostess was, and she simply replied that she was clearing tables. There was no offer to help, no explanation of the process, and no attempt to assist me. She continued interacting with other staff members while I stood there feeling like an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee who appeared to be a waiter noticed me. He immediately picked up the same clipboard that had been sitting on the counter, took my name and phone number with a cheerful attitude, and let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait. His professionalism completely contrasted with the poor customer service I had just experienced. Once seated, our waiter was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very good. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble with hash browns, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Catfish and Grits and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The food and our waiter helped redeem the experience, but first impressions matter. Management should ensure that every employee understands that providing basic courtesy and hospitality is everyone's responsibility, not just the hostess's. Even if greeting guests or managing the waitlist wasn't Claudia's primary role, there was no excuse for being dismissive or rude to someone walking through your front door. Alpharetta has no shortage of excellent brunch spots with both great food and outstanding customer service. Sadly, because of the way I was treated before I was even seated, I won't be returning to The Southern Porch. I also won't feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. It's disappointing because the kitchen and our waiter did their jobs well, but one employee's attitude overshadowed what could have been an otherwise enjoyable brunch.

The coconut chia pudding was very good and the house granola was excellent. I was impressed with the freshness, amount and many different fruits that come with this bowl. I would definitely order it again. But the slow and lacking service, continuously having to ask for drinks and various sides multiple times left a sour taste. It was like they didn't care. Again they were not busy so I'm not sure what the problem was. Hopefully it was a one time occurrence and this is not the norm.

As someone who recently moved to the Southeast from the San Francisco Bay Area and spends a lot of time traveling for work, I'm always looking for memorable meals on the road.
