Came here while shopping in the area, service was fairly quick helped us answer any questions we had. The dining atmosphere is very casual with plenty of seating. The portion sizes were generous and everything was brought out super hot. Seasoning and flavours were also delicious for the dishes we ordered.

To begin with this should be your GoTo place if you love some very good authentic South Indian food, be it Dosa, Parotta or even the most famous India Chinese starters. Food: It tasted excellent although not good on the tummy the following day. Anyways, we ordered Benne Masala Dosa, Kal Dosa, Gobi Manchurian, Parotta with Veg Curry (Malai Paneer) and Mango Lassi. They offered complimentary Rava Kesari as we felt the Gobi Manchurian was on spicier side as opposed to the Mild spice we asked for. But everything tasted so good. Malai Paneer was the best in my opinion. Surprisingly the Mango Lassi tasted amazing here and fresh compared to canned Mango Lassi's that other restaurants offer. Service & Atmosphere: We went on a Sunday night and it was empty. So we probably got the food much earlier than expected. The staffs were very friendly and extremely nice. As soon as they suspected that our food was spicy, they got us a plate of Rava Kesari. They even voluntarily replaced Veg Curry (probably it was spicy) with Malai Paneer on the sides for Parotta. Shows how much they respect and love their customers. The restaurant was well lit and was very well maintained. BOTTOMLINE: An excellent restaurant with a vast menu and unique food options. Although the food tastes excellent in every possible way, it could have probably made better as it didn't sit well with me personally. I would still want to explore other choices though. Excellent service and staffs. Highly recommend. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Parotta with Veg Curry, Gobi Manchurian, Mango Lassi

    Non Veg Thali

New Indian restaurant on the block. The non veg thali is ok but is very pricey(20$). Need to try other items. Ambience is good. Its cafe style, no table service. You need to pay and pick your food. Chicken curry, sweet is good. Dal had onions and full of turmeric. Sambar, I do not call it that. Rasam is spicy good but very thick. Rice pongal is customised to appease South Indian as it has green chillies in it.

Service is phenomenal. They are so friendly and nice. They came to check on us multiple times throughout our meal to make sure everything tasted good. The inside is clean and welcoming. There are enough tables to host a big party. We came in for lunch on a Wednesday around 12:20. Everyone was getting the lunchbox so we decided to try the non-veg lunchbox ($9.99), it came with two sides, rice, naan, chicken wing, and Gobi. It was so much food and delicious. What a deal. Definitely recommend. We also got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Wow, the tikka was amazing. The chicken was very tender, not dry at all and the flavor was perfect, it wasn't too sweet like a lot of other places which I love. The naan was so fresh. The prices are more affordable than other Indian restaurants in the area. I'm so excited this place opened up next to us. The best Indian food hands down. Will recommend them to everyone.

Though it's operated by a Punjabi owner, the kitchen team serves very authentic South Indian flavors, and the ambience also leans South Indian--simple, warm, and family-friendly. My favorite is their fruit custard. I do not have sweet tooth but I always get multiple servings of their fruit custard. In the veg, their daal is always a hit and sambaar is close. Non-veg, their chicken and lamb flare well. If you're looking for a delicious, diverse, and satisfying Indian buffet with great customer service, Madras Chettinad is absolutely worth a visit. The Irani Tea was nutty and rich. I'd definitely come back.

This was one of the poorer biryani experiences I've had, which I say reluctantly because it's clear…read morethe staff genuinely care about both the food and their customers. The dish had some good flavors, so it's a bit difficult to describe exactly where it fell short--but much of the disappointment came from the eating experience itself. I ordered the goat biryani. While the goat was bone-in, it was overwhelmingly bone rather than meat. There were five pieces total; three were mostly bone with very little meat--perhaps a single bite combined--and the remaining two were largely fat. Although the fat was rendered well, the actual goat meat was nearly nonexistent. The spice profile showed promise, but many of the whole spices used--such as bay leaves, whole peppers, and spice pods--were inedible and abundant. Accidentally biting into them made for an unpleasant experience, and avoiding them required constant effort. I understand that whole spices are traditional in Indian cooking, but the quantity and execution here detracted from the dish. Additionally, the flavor leaned quite floral, which made the overall taste a bit unusual and not especially balanced for me. I also didn't care for the raita. It was very thin and lacked the cool, creamy yogurt flavor that typically brings contrast and refreshment to biryani. Instead, it tasted more bitter and sour. That said, the restaurant was packed, and I was the only white customer there, which speaks to its authenticity and strong local following. While this meal wasn't for me, it's clearly a place many people enjoy and trust.
