Great experience every time. This one is located in the strip of businesses near McDonald's besides 5 guys. I get the emails but somehow I missed that key lime is the limited time flavor. I was able to try a sample even though I knew it was going home with me. The key lime buntlet is so delicious. You taste the key lime flavor immediately at first bite and the frosting is light and delicious, not overly sweet. My favorite is probably the Strawberries and Cream with the cream cheese frosting. I also enjoyed the gluten free chocolate chip cake. You would never know it's gluten free. There's plenty of free parking right in front of the shop. If you sign up online, you can get a free bundlet in your birthday. These Bundt cakes are great for all occasions. We chose the red velvet flavor - which is studded with chocolate chips - and it was phenomenal, just as we remembered it. Needless to say this little guy did not make it home. I did not keep them in the refrigerator overnight so the icing was melted (which I don't mind). However, the cakes were amazing regardless! Super moist and great sufficient amount of blueberry taste. I would say though, they overdo the icing. I ended up taking all of them out. Marble cake - again, really moist. I couldn't really taste the chocolate part of the cake, so it just tasted like a regular bunt cake. Still really good! Overall, too much icing but quality moist cakes. I'm very confused. I've bought cakes before, and I enjoyed them very much. Today, I went in and bought a white raspberry for myself and pecan praline for my daughter. Not only was the white raspberry cold as ice, it was gummy, and the frosting (buttercream?) has the consistency of toothpaste. It also didn't have that cakey consistency that you'd see with this type of cake. I've never seen a gummy Bundt cake before in my life, and certainly not even buttercream frosting like this. My daughter wouldn't even eat hers; on inspection, it was just as cold, loose and bad frosting. Because I'm COVID-restricted, I can't go back but this cake literally crumbled. I felt totally emasculated walking into this shop (see photos) but that's fine, I'm comfortable enough with my masculinity, or lack thereof, to be able to walk into a frilly pink cake shop without feeling too out of place. It was good, because normally, you're overwhelmed with the sugar not the strawberries, but the taste of strawberry definitely came through and it tasted very good I got to say. So, as I'm eating the icing, I'm thinking, okay once I finish this icing, the cake part will be bad as usual. Probably, I won't even taste anything, after the icing. Nope, wrong again, the cake underneath was super moist and riddled, LITERALLY RIDDLED I SAY, with fresh strawberries, again, the strawberries really came through while eating this, I wasn't overwhelmed by the icing, like I thought I would be. The entire cake was really really good. That's why I was doubly surprised to learn that this is also a national chain, and not some boutique mom and pop shop. Why do people think this place is expensive? The little cake I got was twice the size of a cupcake, and cost $4. The only drawback I see is that you can only order the tiny bite size cakes by the dozen, that's super annoying, and part of the reason, I can never return, despite being VERY VERY good, I've gotten VERY VERY fat lately. :( Anyway, if you're looking for some really good after dinner dessert, or before dinner dessert, this is definitely the place to go. read more

Great cakes! Only issue was that the day I went to buy a bundt cake (first visit ever), I had been sitting in my car for a few minutes prior to going in. I noticed an employee walk out and disappear for several minutes. A customer had walked in during that time and there was no one there to help her. I got out of my car a few minutes later and the employee came around the corner with a cigarette in his hand. He ran in (at this point there is a line of customers) and didn't even wash his hands before starting to take orders. They help you pick out a greeting, flower and ribbon and they have cards to purchase as well. I ordered the classic vanilla, marble and red velvet with the matching ribbon.
