Popped over here after dinner at the Collection. It was around 7, so not so super busy but still a brief wait. Allyson was super helpful when I had some questions, and was patient while I was making my choices. I was basically picking up a couple quarts so that my family would enjoy whatever flavor they wanted. Went with the Key Lime Pie (that I planned on hiding from everyone), and the Coconut Cream Pie that I know my parents would enjoy immensely. Thanks to Allyson for putting up with my indecision and also churning out my order so quickly. This location is further away than our usual Brusters but this is larger, better staffed, and I will be back here from now on. Have gone 2 times to this location in the last month, and was totally disappointed both times. I ordered turtle sundaes for take out on the first visit, they were not made correctly, and when I returned home they had no pecans on the sundaes. I think the employee was more interested in talking to the friends at the window, than doing his job properly. I decided to give Bruster's another try this evening, and the turtle sundaes were very skimpy in size.... only 2 scoops of the wrong ice cream, very little whipped cream and no cherries. It's cold outside but my daughter was craving ice cream. So after a lot of begging, I finally gave in. I was surprised when I pulled up to see a small line outside. I thought for sure we would be the only ones. Bruster's offers yogurts, sorbets, sherbets, and Italian ice. On top of those, they offer their premium ice creams. They have really fun flavors like Key lime pie, cotton candy explosion, cake batter, pistachio, and white turtle. You can get this in a cup, cake cone, or waffle cone. My daughter decided on the orange sherbet in a waffle cone. She let me have one bite and I really liked the cone. It had a vanilla taste to it and was fresh. The sherbet was creamy and not icy. Very good. You can really indulge and get a hot fudge brownie sundae or a banana split if you're feeling more adventurous. I think next time I'll have to try one of their premium ice cream flavors in a waffle cone. Spring is just around the corner so I'll definitely be more in the mood for a nice cold dessert. read more

I grew up eating Bruster's every summer, and I am so glad this location has not gone out of business like so many other locations have in recent years. Bruster's is always fresh, with a bunch of flavors to pick from, customizations to do. You get SO much ice cream too! They really pack it on. My favorite flavor as a kid was birthday cake by far, because the cold icing was straight sugar/crack to me. Recently, I tried coffee chip and it was delicious! Not too sweet, as a good coffee ice cream should be, and I liked how it truly had chocolate CHIPS, not shavings or flecks. Having chips gave some textural diversity to the ice cream and didn't make it grainy. This is my new go to flavor. I have not gotten ice cream in years and finally caved the other night and decided to use Uber eats (sure my first mistake, but it was close by). What was supposed to take 15 minutes turned into 1.5 hours with no end in sight -- Ubers problem for now -- so I canceled. And yea it was like someone stealing your candy kind of feeling. So the next night I decide ya know what, let's give this another shot. As expected this time my order arrives in 15 minutes like Uber suggested. I'm so excited and then......I look at the bag and the MF's literally gave my order from last night. Completely frozen. If I had canceled for any other reason than Uber never picking my order up after 1.5 hours I'd almost tip my hat to whatever child thought that was funny. Came here around 9ish at night and it was pretty freezing, and obviously not busy. So had a look before hand at the menu online and decided to get the Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae, we got two of these, 1 Banana Split Sundae, 1 chocolate ice cream and 1 quarts Pistachio ice cream to go. I will agree with a previous reviewer that the ice cream is a bit soft. But it was still quite tasty - not as outstanding as some of the more premium ice creams or NZ Natural. But it was good and the brownie was moist and thank God I had asked for no cream. We forgot to say no to it for the Banana Split and it was a huge overkill. Quantity-wise, well I couldn't finish it and it's in my freezer at the moment, so I'd say it was more than enough. It was around $35 all up. read more

I had a wonderful experience! I'd never been to Bruster's myself, but I work at a restaurant where customers frequently bring cake from there (since we don't have birthday cakes there). So I decided to give it a shot, but I didn't know how it worked and it only dawned on me to check how long they needed when it was late at night the day before my brother's birthday. So I called as soon as I woke up the next morning and asked the person on the phone how long they needed. She said they'd need at least 24h to prepare it. I asked her if it was possible to just pick up a cake they had there, like a pre made one, not order one to my liking. She said she'd ask her manager and a few seconds later, confirmed it was possible indeed. She then asked me for what cake base I'd like, what flavor of ice cream cake (they have some set creations, from what I understand) and if I wanted anything written on it. I just wanted a simple "Happy Birthday", so she asked what color. I answered all of her questions and asked if it was possible to pick up around 5 / 6 PM. She said yes. Well, pick up was just as smooth as this conversation! I parked without a problem (location was also only abut 15 minutes away from my house, and I live kind of far from everything, so that was as close as it gets), there was no line, and as soon as I informed the girl at the counter that I was picking up a cake, she opened up a big smile and asked if it was the New York Cherry Cheesecake (sorry, not sure if that's the name, but it was something like that). I said yes and she went to prepare my order. She was very pleasant and efficient the whole time. She even told me the manager was about to leave, but she reminded them that they needed to write the "happy birthday" on the cake and assured them I'd be there. I was there around 5:50 PM, like I'd told her. The whole exchange lasted only about 5-10 minutes. I set the cake on the passenger seat with a bottle of water under the side that was tilting and put the seat belt around it so it wouldn't move. Then I turned the AC very high on so it wouldn't melt on the way home and put it in the freezer until we were ready to cut it. It held up great and the cake was delicious. My family loved it, they'd never tried cake from this place either. Normally I bake the cake myself for my friends' and family's birthdays, but that was for my brother, who is not a dessert person and doesn't really like anything too sweet. So I thought an ice cream cake would be better. And the only thing he does care for is cheesecake. So that was the perfect combination! Also, since I don't usually buy cakes, I'm not sure what the prices normally are, but this one was $28. A little on the pricey side, if I'm not mistaken, but it was HUGE, so totally worth it. We were only 4 people sharing this cake, but I've had another flavor at work before, we were more than 10 and couldn't finish it. We don't have Bruster's in NY and it's been a family tradition to get it every time we visit the little cousins in GA. Three days in a row, you guys keep closing early even tho Google and Yelp say you close at 11pm. I could understand if we came at 10:50pm maybe even 10:45pm but 9pm?!?!?? I am SO thankful for Bruster's! This one is within three miles of the home, and close to the Kroger I frequent. I am quite specific about my ice cream tastes, and coconut with nuts or coconut with chocolate just spins the propeller on my beanie. My family and I visit this location pretty regularly. There is usually a really long line, not many staff members working and the staff members tend to be teenagers. My biggest issue with this location is how rude the staff always is. My most recent encounter was with a teenage girl who wouldn't allow me to use a coupon for "BOGO free regular waffle cone. Buy one regular waffle cone and get one of equal or lesser value free" because I order 1 regular and 1 small waffle cone. The girl said I could only use the coupon if both cones were regular waffle cones. I tried explaining that one was a regular and one was a small which would be considered lesser value. She refused to except it because the cones were not equal value or "exactly the same" as she kept saying. She never once apologized, instead she raised her voice and said "look... My manager said it has to be exactly the same, so I don't know what you want." I didn't want to hold up the long line or cause a scene so I just paid for both cones. My family and I have been going to this Bruster's for the last few years and have been extremely happy with the ice cream, that was until we purchased an ice cream cake for my twins birthday this past weekend. The cookie dough marble cake was absolutely disgusting. And I don't use that description lightly. It was completely inedible. It's the same flavor ice cream my kids have ordered a dozen times before and loved but somehow it was tainted in the cake. It had a chemical taste that was evident in the first bite and noticed by everyone who had a piece. We took the remainder back and were offered gift cards instead of a refund but the point of bringing it back was to have someone look into what went wrong. But with no manager on duty I'm sure it went right in the garbage. And it was very disappointing to not have a cake for their birthday. I know we'll go back again because we do enjoy the ice cream but that will be the last cake I ever buy. read more
