This BANANA CREAM PUDDIN ice cream from @scoopjoyicecreamery was so amazing, I literally could not believe it. My buddy @evans1091 was also in disbelief. Greg and the Mrs run this place and they are AWESOME as well, they really go above and beyond to make sure their ice cream is top notch. The place itself is of course neat and clean, only problem I had is the ice cream is NOT unlimited... you'll unfortunately sooner or later find yourself taking your last bite, at which point you'll be sad Scoop Joy has been in Suwanne for 2.5 years... shame I missed them for so long. We were greeted nicely upon walking in and I got to sample a few flavors before deciding what I wanted. I decided to do the latte and the chocolate. The waffle cone is ALOT of ice cream. I really should have gotten something smaller, but it was delightful. My husband got a sugar cone and the banana pudding flavor I think it was. He said it was good but he wished it was just a little more banana-y. Good ice cream and you get a lot for the price.

I am obsessed with their signature "Gelati" which is a combo of Italian ice and soft serve ice cream layered together. Truly one of the greatest inventions IMO. I've tried a few different Italian ice flavors and usually go with something fruity, but nothing ever compares to mango. Pair that with the vanilla soft serve and you've got an undeniably delicious dessert. Seriously the best duo and I highly recommend! Most recently, I was feeling extra crazy and really wanted majority soft serve so I decided to just ask for some vanilla soft serve in a cup with sprinkles mixed in. Wow. It was exactly what I was hoping for and definitely another go-to order of mine from now on! The staff here is always extremely friendly and bubbly, and the drive thru line is my favorite part. Convenience mixed with a treat? How could I not enjoy myself!

Ice cream - 5 stars Service- 2 stars…read more Just went in for my first Handel's experience. No other customers were there, so it was quiet. There were two employees that we saw- one guy, one girl. The guy was absolutely miserable from the moment we walked in. He held the door for us, that's a plus, didn't greet us didn't say a word. Maybe he was upset he had to pause his music in his AirPod. Acted like we were bothering him even though we ordered something super simple and rather quickly for our first time. The two stars are for the girl who at least greeted us with a smile and told us to have a nice day. You work at an ice cream place not the Forsyth county jail. Have a damn smile on your face. As an ex ice cream shop employee life does not suck that bad.

Ice cream - 3.5 Service - 3.0…read more So me and my cousin were visiting our HS BF and after dinner driving back to the hotel I noticed Handel's of course I needed dessert since I didn't get one during dinner. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing so the store (yes enclosed, unlike CA stores which are outdoor walk-ups) was quiet. Blueberry cobbler and strawberry cheesecake chunk were in our future. Both flavors are creamy and rich in taste, but because our stores in California had a much larger selection of flavors and scoops were smaller that was the only disappointment.

They have a cute wall but everything else is horrible…read more We went in on a Sunday at 1pm and found a singular employee in the entire restaurant. He was quiet, mumbling his words, and didn't know what he was talking about. We all ordered our food and found a place to sit. The drinks (of that which were available) were very syrupy and didn't taste right at all. This brings me to the first picture of the soda machines. Much like a "Where's Waldo" portrait, the longer you look, the more you see. Except instead of a dopamine hit, it's a slight feeling of dread that compounds with every find. First, we have two drinks out of order. That happens, no big deal. As we continue to look at the machine we notice its base is propped up by two styrofoam cups. Still weird, but not too nasty. To the right there are also no napkins. I find this is more than a minor inconvenience when eating finger food. Lastly, but certainly most unsettling, is the bug trap set up just to the left of the machine. I appreciate you using a trap, but right next to drinks and where food is bound to be put down? After 10 minutes, I alone received my food. Except it wasn't what I ordered. I ordered the sandwich pictured in the restaurant which was advertised as the chicken salad sandwich and received what consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, and chicken. I clarified I had actually ordered the chicken salad sandwich (because this was obviously not that) and the singular man assured me that was correct. Another 15 minutes pass by and the rest of my family gets their food. The glorified bar food was mediocre at best and my family wasn't even interested in finishing. He also forgot an order of fries. This is impressive because of the 5 customers in the entire building, my family was 5 of them. As we were leaving, another poor man and his family walked in to order. I felt a moral obligation to turn him away. This was also right as we passed the pitiful 80 on the inspection report. I usually let this stuff go, but as someone who appreciates food, I felt it would be a disservice to society to let this place continue to have an inflated 4.4 stars. Thank you for coming to my TED talk...
