Service is terrible.. My daughter had to look for someone to be seated,get a to go box and the bill. We took the ticket I received and walked to the lady at counter, she rang me up, I paid and signed my receipt and I left. I was chased down by the manager and she claimed I didn't pay the right bill because the hostess made a mistake and rang me up under another ticket. I received no apologies. The manager was rude, as if it's my fault . My first and last time there. And also, she would not give me a receipt showing that she cancelled the first charge. read more

The owner/joker of this place disallows outside coffee. His business, his rules. That's fine. And he was a condescending prick about it. What business owner makes a business decision to stop a $6 coffee from entering the establishment and at the same time forego a $40-50 revenue opportunity on top of pissing off local customers?? Hard to support local businesses that act in this manner. Either his coffee should win a Nobel Prize or he makes terrible business decisions. We just tabbed out at another local breakfast place with a tab of $49 and topped 20%. Don't go to Egg Farm. read more

I hate to add a mediocre review to all the glowing posts that drew me to the Egg Farm. The French Toast was raw bread inside and tasted like cardboard, I had t o stop eating it. Eggs Benedict Florentine, it's supposed to have tomatoes we found a half a slice of one. Tasteless hollandaise sauce. Raw un-toasted English muffins, the hash-browns again tasted like cardboard. The -positive reviews for their Fried okra was another reason for the stop, sadly not on the sides menu, or tied into any meal we saw. Maybe I hope a bad day or different cook, not sure we will be back. I'm going to look at the dates on the reviews to see if they are trending up or down. read more

Don't come over here! Because he doesn't care about unhappy consumers, the proprietor won't respond to you for days. The portion sizes are so tiny that their menu is deceptive, and nobody will advise you to anticipate less. In addition, he charged me without tipping his waitress. Very sad proprietor that gets upset with customers over the phone and a business that is constantly dead! refused to give me a refund, claiming that I was to blame and that he would take no action before hanging up! Now I know why no one is ever there. I've worked in the food industry and I've never seen such bad management and I've seen a lot. Would appreciate my money back! read more

My wife and I thought we would visit for a Saturday lunch. Clearly the place is not following pandemic protocol! The owner had his mask around his chin, many of the staff were also not properly wearing masks. We were seated at a table that hadn't been wiped down and the place was packed to 100% full capacity. It made us quite uncomfortable so we just simply left and went to a better establishment. read more

Is the new neighborhood's breakfast and lunch place at Lakeside shops in Flower Mound. Is a little difficult to see it because is in the back area facing Long Prairie Road. The place is very nice painted in light calming earth tones and very clean. The staff is very friendly and efficient. It has everything to start your day great, perfect to crash after working out or bike riding in the trail. The menu includes everything: classic eggs, omelettes, benedicts, Tex mex skillets, pancakes,French toasts,fresh fruit, avocado toasts or oatmeal. For lunch the have very delicious deli Sandwiches, OMG!, I was surprised how good they are! They come in different breads and crafted perfect! And Prices are good too, around $15 per dish, not bad. Oh and I've notice the 80s music too!! Cool. A good advice for the place from my artistry eye: some large pots with nice flowers outside next to the benches would come lovely :D Egg Farm is a place worth to try it, won't be disappointed read more

What a GREAT addition to the Lakeside neighborhood! A smörgåsbord of mouth-watering breakfast and lunch choices. Staples like savory sausage and bacon, hash browns, biscuits from gravy, are available. As well as omelets, skillets, starches, you name it, they got it! Just like a millennial, I recommend getting the savory salmon avocado toast I've gone back a few times to keep trying new things on the menu and everything hash been phenomenal. And I will CONTINUE going till I work my way around the menu! Whoever they have in the kitchen really knows their way around home-style cooking! From the moment you walk in, it's a warm, casual, and inviting reception from the hosts. The servers are very attentive and friendly. In regards to health and sanitation efforts, hand sanitizer is readily available for use. All staff wear masks and it is evident they regularly clean contact surfaces. Greatly applaud their voracity to open mid-pandemic and are well-rounded and consistently deliver a solid product. Definitely give this place a go! You won't regret it! read more

Food was really good, service was excellent. Would love to go back, but at a slower time. We were seated in a table at the center and noticed we were super close to the folks next to us. We requested to move.. no issues. The place started getting crowded and when we left, the front was packed, which is where you pay and enter/exit. Essentially, social distancing was non existent nor even attempted. Made us feel very uncomfortable as we waited to pay. No tables were blocked off, just crowded and you can literally reach out and touch another person. Again- great food.. would go back when it's not so busy. I would suggest a way to keep front clear or even collect payment at table. read more

I enjoy trying local spots. Found this on Yelp and it had good reviews, so decided to try it. Turned out to be a great spot. Nice on the inside and quick and friendly service. I got the migas and my husband got the triple play. The food was delicious and a good serving size. The coffee is good too, which is a big plus for us! This place is a hit n miss. I've ordered the avocado toast a couple of times. It's never the same as the 1st time when I ordered. I ask for certain things on it, it never came as requested. It's always diff. They usually put feta cheese, red onion. Sometimes the avocado is mashed other times it's in slices. 1 time I received it mashed & brown. Iuuuu gross. Another time there was no feta cheese. Another time I requested extra extra red onions & I literally got 3 itty bitty pcs.of it. The other day I ordered a meaty skillet & it was nothing impressive. It was greasy & lacked flavor. Not sure if I will ever order from here again. Convenience is nice but not wort it. read more

We had a decent experience here the first time so thought we'd come back. It will be our last time. The wait time was supposed to be 15-20 minutes but at the half hour mark, we decided to wait inside instead of out front. That's how we noticed that the problem wasn't lack of tables; it was mismanagement of those tables. Empty ones sat waiting to be bused forever. They nickel and dime you for every addition to already high prices. I added "whipped cream" to my waffle for $1.50. I just assumed that for a buck fifty, it would be real whipped cream. This restaurant is tucked in the Lakeside cluster of restaurants in the town of Flower Mound, southern Denton County. It has a cozy diner vibe, getting a little noisier as more customers arrived. I would call it "happy chatter"! The staff is friendly & our eggs & sausage breakfast was delicious. Since there are condos & apts, within walking distance of this eatery, we witnessed personal greetings, between staff & diners, giving us the impression of a "neighbors & family gathering place". We observed customers being served luscious looking waffles & pancakes, eating every bite, so we assumed they were delicious. Ignored when I walked into the restaurant to be seated. Cashier finally called some one to seat me and they ended up seating a man who came in after me and never came back to seat me. After trying to get someone's attention from a group of workers chatting, the cashier finally sat me after he was finished ringing up customers. I should have just left but I stayed calm and ordered my food, which didn't come out warm at all. Needless to say I'm never going back there. read more

Don't pay attention to the Open sign off the boulevard, and make sure you CALL FIRST. Been going off that sign twice now and when we got there, it was closed. They close early in the afternoon and on weather days (even though other businesses still opened nearby). Get it together folks at EFV please. If we see that Open sign and can make it there, you and your employees can too. Apart from that the place is ok and should deserve 3 or maybe 4 stars at its best. The breakfast sometimes come out lukewarm, which is pretty disappointing when you're dealing with eggs Benedict. The OJ was a little bit on the sour side too. Coffee could use upgrades. read more

This is our first visit to Egg Farm! We were so excited that a breakfast placed opened in Lakeside!!! The inside is really cute, there are a bunch of booths, open tables, and also some outside seating. We were able to seat ourselves and were immediately greeted by our waitress, who was very sweet. The menu had a lot of options, I ordered the berry crepes and they were AMAZING! Like - the best breakfast crepes I have ever had. I was even able to finish the whole plate. What I liked about them is that they are not stuffed, they are just delicately rolled up with some sweet sauce on top. I loved that they did not have all that super sweet icing that other places put inside. It was light and fresh! The manager was also rounding on all the tables which I liked, I think it shows they really care about their customers. I also got the fresh squeezed orange juice that was delicious. Next time, I would also order a side of their shredded hash browns because my husband got that with his sandwich and they were so good Definitely go check this place out! We will be back - on the patio next time with our pup! read more

Inedible breakfast.....hash browns felt like plastic shards in your mouth, zero flavor and you couldn't chew, my husband had chicken fried steak that you couldn't cut with a steak knife, it was like a hockey puck, don't waste your money or time going here.....when paying the bill the owner asked how our food was and my husband told him it wasn't good today.....the owner said oh, ok......come on!
