DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went with a friend to this used car dealership and he ended up getting…read morescrewed. The truck was apparently used on a farm. The inside was not clean and for some reason the people at this dealership left the windows down while it rained which allowed the interior to become water damaged. Now, these are things that can be fixed as a DIY project so we didn't think nothing of it, then we drove off the lot. On the 2nd day he discovered a massive oil leak issue. He drove it back up to the dealership and had them check it out. They said it was an oil filter issue. My friend, for some reason, felt like he made need legal advise and turned to some people he knew. Long story short, he was sold a truck that had 157K on the dash but 257K on the key tag. Turned out that the miles had been rolled back. The airbag had also been deployed which was not disclosed to him upon purchase which is grounds for a lawsuit. The overall appearance of this truck from this dealership made me sick because no pride was taken what so ever. These people here don't give a crap about who they sell to just as long as you are a sucker... I guess that's why when the owner holds up a peace sign when he takes a picture with you after your purchase, almost as if he is saying "peace out, not my problem no more sucker." Like I said, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! THERE ARE BETTER PLACES TO SPEND YOUR MONEY.

Then he told me he would give me the money for me to take it to my mechanic and when it was time for him to pay me he ignored and dodged me like a little bitch. WARNING: Do NOT buy from Brothers Motors…read more This dealership is fraudulent and preys on customers. They scammed me by offering a "special deal" with a deferred down payment. I paid $2,000 upfront, with a $500 balance due in two weeks. Here's what happened: They knowingly sold me a car with a bad battery, which caused me to miss work. Because of that, I didn't have the $500 in time. I reached out, but they ignored my messages. Instead, they used the missed payment as an excuse to repossess the car. Even after I explained that the battery issue was their fault, the owner's son Eddie still went through with the repo. It's clear this was a setup from the start: they got my $2,000, took the car back, and left me with nothing. Don't fall for their scam. Brothers Motors will take your money, repossess your car, and ruin you financially. Stay far away.

Ok, I am blown away. I don't know about you, but I really didn't want to deal with a "used car…read moresalesman" just to go check out a car. Well, I can honestly say, I DIDN'T! As a female I was totally prepared for the high pressure tactics, but not once thru out my experience did I see anything of the sort. The General Manager greeted me HER self, and carefully listened to my concerns, needs, and wants. She also explained how I could build my credit, and move from "the car I needed" to the car "I wanted" I was happy to have more then just a couple of options, and to top it off, she's a licensed insurance agent, so not only did I get an awesome car, but I left there with the insurance I needed, AND understood! My take away is this: I will no longer spend my income anywhere I'm not treated with respect, I can assure you, that the next vehicle I purchase will also be from Brothers Motors. They valued my business enough to show me that my time and satisfaction was the focus, not just selling units.

Update 6/28/25 Since this my initial review a few days ago…read more We now have another issue. The engine is overheating and we had to have the car towed for repairs. We have not made the 1st car payment yet and have we are already almost 2000.00 for repairs since buying the vehicle. The repairs and tow are already 25% of what we paid for the vehicle thus far. Absolutely ridiculous. Reply to dealer response 7/1/25 (on a google review) Ok. So now you are not telling the truth. Communication did not shut down because of derogatory name calling and you are wrong for not speaking correctly about the issue. I started asking for documents to confirm the inspection you did. Shortly after you cut communication. You did not offer to rectify, you stated I should have come to me first. I tried to explain when the light came on and your said, " I do not pay other mechanics". I told you, you were being dishonest and there was no way you did not know about the issue at hand. I also told you that when the check engine light came on we were addressing the tire light sensors that were needed on two of the tires. We do not stay near your shop and actually across town. If I am already having to address issues with a vehicle you sold me, in which I said was a lemon to you, I would not trust you to fix anything on the vehicle as it should have been done before you sold it to us. Why should we have to drive this vehicle across town and damage it any further?. You told me you used parts from ebay for your vehicles which is fine, however, this car had the original part. So before you replied to this review you should have been honest with your response. I told you in my text you could have been honest upfront. It should have been a red flag when you dropped the price of this vehicle from 8200 to 6500 with 76,000. A huge drop for a small dealership and a vehicle that passed inspection! Right?!. I hope you recall before the purchase, I asked you if there were any lights, and any issues with the vehicle and you said no. Upon arrival there was a tire light that remained on for weeks. The initial reason why we parked because we wanted to keep our daughter safe in this Texas heat after the light did not go off while putting air in. A consumer speaking up about a purchase is not derogatory rather, what accountability looks like.

Why You Should Consider Neighborhood Autos for Your Next Car…read moreIn July, I was in the market for a new car. After doing extensive research and reading reviews, I decided to check out Neighborhood Autos. I browsed their inventory for weeks until I found the perfect car for me--a 2020 Cadillac XT5. I was contacted by Jaime, a salesman who made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Getting approved was simple, and the dealership visit was quick--just about two hours, a much better experience compared to traditional banks. Jaime was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout. I drove away with my dream car at a great price, with a reasonable note and terms. Fast forward two months, my engine light came on. I wasn't too worried because the car came with a five-year warranty. Unfortunately, I found out the repairs--a knock sensor and catalytic converter--weren't covered. I was devastated. When I reached out to the warranty department and the dealership, I initially felt unheard, even after speaking with Matt, the GM. Frustrated, I submitted a complaint and was contacted by Stephen, who genuinely listened to my concerns. Stephen took my case seriously, involving Matt and Clint (the service manager) to find a solution. I learned there was no shop in Texas with the parts I needed for the repair.(feelings shattered again) Stephen personally ensured me my issues would be resolved, and within two weeks, I was approved for an early trade-in. Last Saturday, I returned to the dealership and selected another car--a 2018 Cadillac XT5--which I love even more than the first one. What truly stood out was not just the car, but the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make things right,(where they do that at?) and I've never felt so valued as a customer in my life!. If you're in the market for a car and looking for impeccable service, I highly recommend Neighborhood Autos!

Our favorite car salesman, Randy, moved over here from another spot in Haltom City, so when we…read moreneeded a car on short notice, we looked him up. Not only did we get a great deal on a little truck with very low mileage, but we got excellent service and a 2-year warranty. So...this is where the story takes a turn. Last week, my truck would not start. I had roadside, so I called to have it towed. It was too far away to get it towed to James Wood, so I took it to a repair shop local to me. The initial claim on the warranty was denied. I called the warranty company & got a run around. Said run-around included being told that if my mechanic had lied to them, they could have covered the claim. That is when I picked up the phone to call the dealership. Bob answered the phone & listened while I explained my frustration with the warranty people. He said he needed to make a call. Less than an hour later, he called me back to let me know that they made sure the warranty would be covered. I'm sure that is not always going to be the case, but I feel like they honored their reputation and took care of a customer...rather than allowing a pencil-pusher to deny a claim on a minor technicality.
