I would certainly buy another car from Momentum!

Update 6/28/25 Since this my initial review a few days ago…read more We now have another issue. The engine is overheating and we had to have the car towed for repairs. We have not made the 1st car payment yet and have we are already almost 2000.00 for repairs since buying the vehicle. The repairs and tow are already 25% of what we paid for the vehicle thus far. Absolutely ridiculous. Reply to dealer response 7/1/25 (on a google review) Ok. So now you are not telling the truth. Communication did not shut down because of derogatory name calling and you are wrong for not speaking correctly about the issue. I started asking for documents to confirm the inspection you did. Shortly after you cut communication. You did not offer to rectify, you stated I should have come to me first. I tried to explain when the light came on and your said, " I do not pay other mechanics". I told you, you were being dishonest and there was no way you did not know about the issue at hand. I also told you that when the check engine light came on we were addressing the tire light sensors that were needed on two of the tires. We do not stay near your shop and actually across town. If I am already having to address issues with a vehicle you sold me, in which I said was a lemon to you, I would not trust you to fix anything on the vehicle as it should have been done before you sold it to us. Why should we have to drive this vehicle across town and damage it any further?. You told me you used parts from ebay for your vehicles which is fine, however, this car had the original part. So before you replied to this review you should have been honest with your response. I told you in my text you could have been honest upfront. It should have been a red flag when you dropped the price of this vehicle from 8200 to 6500 with 76,000. A huge drop for a small dealership and a vehicle that passed inspection! Right?!. I hope you recall before the purchase, I asked you if there were any lights, and any issues with the vehicle and you said no. Upon arrival there was a tire light that remained on for weeks. The initial reason why we parked because we wanted to keep our daughter safe in this Texas heat after the light did not go off while putting air in. A consumer speaking up about a purchase is not derogatory rather, what accountability looks like.

Evidently they have been selling cars to people for a while that are unsafe. Even though I had…read morebought and paid 2 cars off from Manuel they pretty much forced this 2006 Durango on me. Drove off the lot with back on December 14, 2024 and not after having the Durango a good 3 weeks of it, it had issues with the Suspension and was misfiring. Took it to be looked at and was told they would have to order the arms but that they fixed the misfiring issue and they would call us in when the arms came in. 2 or 3 weeks later the arms came in and I took it in in a Saturday to be fixed. Several weeks later the light engine was o again this time I was told it was a misfire again and replacing the spark plugs and coil packs did not fix it the first time, because it turned out to be the gaskets. They had to keep the Durango this time and they did give us a loaner car, but it took about 2 1/2 weeks before we got it back. Three days later the Suspension was squeaking again and I had to have my son take it in to be looked at and had to have the bushings and the struts replaced which took about 7 hours to fix. Now as 3/2/25 weeks have the engine light on yet again. Took it to O'reilly to see what codes it is throwing this time and here's what we what we have code P0161 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit, U0100 Lost Communication with EVM/PCM, U0141 Lost Communication with IPM(FCM/TIPM). Also the transmission fluid and filter were never changed or replaced before we drove it off the lot nor were the Accessory Driver Belts replaced as well. I would recommend to anyone that if you go to buy a vehicle from this place you take your own mechanic with you to thoroughly inspect the vehicle you're thinking about buying so you're not getting a piece of crap that they want to force on to someone like they did me. They have fixed on this vehicle more than I have been able to drive it yet they don't care as long as they're still taking your money. It's profit over people's Safety for these people and the communication with people other than those coming in to buy a car is almost null and void. They're also pretty good at lying to you as well. NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

These are two of the greatest salesmen I have ever met. They were no pressure, total service, wanting to ensure the deal was good for all of us, and it was. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Hyundai Kona and part of that is the emotional experience of actually trusting my salesmen. Thanks so much, and we will be back as well as anyone I can tell!!

The first time I got a loaner vehicle the second time they say they no longer offer them. All that it was literally less than a week between the two issues that they no longer offer a loaner vehicle vehicles. I talked with them about possible switching vehicles and they stated that due to my credit, it would be a little harder to find another vehicle that fit the financing needs. I understand this, knowing my credit is not good, so I talk to the finance department, I tell him that if they can fix the truck, then just return my money and I'll go somewhere else. He agrees, but tells me it will take a couple of days to get the check. It's now been several days, no money, no phone call, no call back when I call them. I am at home waiting, because I need the money to get another vehicle for work. Until I have it I can not work, so they've put me in a terrible position, and really don't care. I'm out thousands of dollars in lost wages at this point, and there's not a thing I can do about it. I can't believe how bad of an experience it has been to deal with autonation. I never could have dreamed it would be this bad. Nobody calls you back, and their corporate office doesn't care as well. I contacted them, took a week to get back to me, just to let me know they would look into it. GIVE ME MY MONEY!

Dealer trade in offers were around $16,000 up to $17,000. Blue Book trade in value was around $16,500 to $18,000. Blue Book Private Party price is around $19,000 - $20,000. We provided our own car loan company that was indepandant from the car dealer and the agent suggested trying givemethevin.com I wasn't too excited about the hastle of selling the car private party. So I called givemethevin.com on Monday 3/9/26 and had a nice conversation with Jennifer. She asked for information about the car and some photos of my car. After hanging up I was able to send her the information and within an hour of our first conversation she called me right back with an excellent offer and asked if I was interested. I was very happy and excited about the offer. Then she asked for some other sepcific pictures of the car and documents. Jennifer and I talked again on 3/10/26 she made an offer of $19,750, oh yeah! Selling it private party I was going to ask $20,000 and if it got desperate I would have gone down to $18,000. So $19,750 was way above my expectations. Finalizing the documentating was completed the same day with a plesant lady named Monica. I was given instructions on completing the documentation and on where to deliver the car (40 miles away) and made an appointment for delivery on 3/11/26. When I arrived there the man who did the intake inspection was nice to work with and he already had the $19,750 check in hand. That took around 20 minutes then they paid for an Uber Chevy Suburban to drive me home. Three pain free days and $19,750 from start to finish was an outstanding experiance and givemethevin.com is a very honest and classy operation. I recommend them to anyone. I wish that I had more cars to sell.
