We found this amazing place on Instagram! My friend and I decided to reach out to see if we could book this venue for our market. Chris and Carrie were absolutely amazing to work with and were able to guide and help us with everything to be able to book. We toured the venue and every turn we took into a new part of the venue was just as breathtaking as the last. The mansion is unique and historic. The courtyards are beyond what you can imagine!! Did I mention there is so much shade?!! It's beautiful here for weddings, parties, and even markets. We are beyond excited to host The Adventure Markets (@theadventuremarkets) here.

Wedding of my dreams!! I had always dreamed of having a romantic and elegant wedding. From the gardens and gazebos to the charming historic chapel and the majestic mansion, our evening was magical. The food was divine and the staff was dedicated to making our wedding special. The one stop shopping made the planning easy. My favorite moment was dancing with my husband under a canopy of twinkle lights in the Greenhouse. Thank you Edwards Mansion for making a dream come true

Such a beautiful place to get married. We reserved the west gazebo and it felt so intimate and private. It was so shaded, fresh, green, and whimsical. Parking was so big and nice. The west gazebo was so nice that just a few flowers brought everything to life. Pastor Leon was also so nice and made our wedding just perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful ceremony.

When I was a kid Edwards Mansion was an upscale somewhat formal restaurant. I remember this because my dad is cheap and I do not know why we came here but we took my grandparents from Missouri and my dad had a coronary when the bill came. Now it is mostly a venue for weddings and receptions and looking at the photos from the website it looks beautiful. I did notice the price for wedding is either $495 or $695 in the chapel or gazebo...can that be right? Even if it is without all the bells and whistles that is super cheap. www.edwardsmansion.com

I'll start out with the only problem that I encountered because that's what every bride to be really wants to know. This place is not very technologically efficient. That means that if you are planning a wedding/reception from a distance, you will want to have a local person helping you out. I have to give it 5 stars despite that because everything went so smoothly. I went with their cake provider but used my own florist. The cake was beautiful and also edible. What more could you want?! Their caterer was also more than acceptable. We used the beer, wine, and soda option for the bar...which is great for an afternoon affair. Also, it's nice that they have things on hand to purchase because somebody, namely me, forgot to buy a guest book. The DJ they use was OK. I asked for a mix of music that would not offend the older people at my reception. Apparently in DJ language this means, "I only want Sinatra." Then, I mentioned that I wished he play something a little newer so my friend asked him to. All you DJ's should know that, "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me," is not a desirable song lyric for a wedding reception. I'll post some pictures that I think are appropriate here, but if you really want to see them all: http://amyromanek.com/usreception1.html http://amyromanek.com/usreception2.html http://amyromanek.com/usreception3.html

My wife and I got married here a couple of weeks ago. Edward's Mansion has some beautiful outdoor venues that require almost no decorations. We only had 15 vases of flowers for decorations and everything still looked absolutely beautiful. The natural trees and scenery are stunning! Our wedding day had some weather precautions (it was possibly going to rain) but Edward's Mansion was on top of it, having a full backup plan setup for our ceremony and reception. Fortunately, the rain held off and we were able to have our wedding ceremony at the East Gazebo and reception in the Tea Garden as planned. The staff at Edward's Mansion were all professional and courteous. Robin was our wedding coordinator and very helpful during the rehearsal the day before. All the wait staff was attentive to us and our guests. The food was excellent (we had a bunch of different hors d'oeuvres in lieu of a sit down meal). Our wedding day simply couldn't have turned out better. Thanks to Edward's Mansion, a lot of the day before and day of wedding stressors were non existent. We would heartily recommend this venue to all engaged couples!

Perfect place for a gothic style wedding. That being said I knew I had to book this place regardless of what other reviewers had to say. If you want to be the only wedding party at the venue dont book a saturday. Our wedding was on a friday night in October 2016 near Halloween. And we were the only ones there. Pros. Great locations for photos. Very quiet area cant even tell the freeway is nearby. Bar drinks fairly priced but very strong. Cons. 1.We were going to have a surprise groom dance and wanted specific songs played and mixed at specific times of the songs and getting ahold of the house DJ was hard. He would not answer any of our messages until we contacted the main office to which he finally responded to us. 2. We wanted our 3 songs played for the entrance, bride song and exit. So I gave the piano sheet at the same time we made the final payment and they lost the sheets and didnt inform me until the rehersal. I had made specific comments on my song as it needed to be played slower than shown on the sheet and provided links to youtube videos on how it should be played and the pianist did not listen to my notes so as I walked down the aisle the song was rushed and I could hear mistakes. 3. We purchased candelabras and we couldnt even light them because the owners didnt want the wax burning through the tablecloths and scorching their old tables. Had it not been for the bowls we had with candles in them it would have been much darker inside the East Pavilion. I cannot comment on the food as I only ate a total of 2 bites as people kept coming to our table to congratulate us. We opted for supplying our own tableclothes as this venue charges for every thing possible. Ridiculous charges for the cake as well. We personally love the bakery that Edwards Mansion works with but in the end we didnt even know where the cake was at until we cut it. The bakery does not charge extra fees for the decorations BUT Edwards Mansion DOES so we had a plain and simple and forgetful cake. However the cake was delicious and we barely had any leftovers left not counting the top tier which they boxed up for us. In the end everyone had a lot of fun and the servers were very attentive to our guests. We still have people talking about our wedding a year and a half later

Attended here for my Sister In Laws wedding. The first and foremost thing I noted was that this place has been around a very long time. As I stepped through the grounds and was admiring the various locations in it, I overheard several older couples talking about how they were married here or came to see someone from their generation become married here. Overall this place a beautiful ambience. The only downside to it is it sort of felt like the Disneyland of Marriage. There were several marriages/receptions happening while visiting. The manor itself is old, rustic, and full of old school. It's very beautiful and will remind people of old victorian style homes. While wandering through the first floor I was able to find out that not only does this place do weddings and such but it's also has a few rooms people can spend the night in. That's where you can cue ghost stories. I'd be scared to spend the night in this place. It's straight up ghost story material. Speaking of ghost stories, apparently this place has a few of them. Thankfully I didn't hear about them until after I'd left but apparently the wife has gone into the changing room and placed her sisters wedding gown on the bed and hung hers on the back of the door and left. When she came back a few moments later she had found her sisters dress on the back of the door and her dress on the opposite side of the bed. Good times. Despite the ghost stories and hauntings, I would still recommend this place for weddings, anniversaries, etc. ...but the spend the night at your own risk.

Me and my now wife had our wedding here. The turnout of the event was amazing the staff both before and during our wedding was amazing! It made our wedding day memorable. The food was amazing as well. We had the chicken fajitas and the Chile verde and both are amazing. Shall I mention drinks? Well this is the best place to buy your drinks cheap and delicious (alcohol). Now for the cake! It was delicious and satisfying really hit the sweet tooth. The florist from the Mansion is amazing as well our decor was beyond what we had expected. Really this place holds a spot in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

The catering, which I believe was done by an in-house husband and wife couple, was better than expected. The herb chicken, which my cousin said came highly- recommended, was tasty and juicy. The tri-tip was also solid, and cooked to medium as it should be. The wedding coordinator Katie, who came included with the venue, was amazing! My cousin, the bride, kept saying how great Katie was, and how helpful she was during the process. My cousin frequently remarked, "we trust her so much", which is great. Also, as a first time wedding officiant, she really made it easy for me. Also, Morgan the DJ, another venue provided vendor, was great to work with. The venue is on the second floor, which can be a challenge or an absolute deal breaker for some. They do have a chair lift though, which several of our attendees used to get upstairs. Parking could be a challenge, as the venue is located in historic downtown Redlands. According to my cousin, parking at the CVS was allowed, but I'd double check with the venue. We had a Friday night wedding, and I heard no complaints about parking. Thank you to the cast and crew at Speakeasy on State.

Don"t trust this place to give you a fair or accurate quote or experience for a wedding reception or a clear enough picture of a great experience or outcome. New ownership is very unprofessional and un prepared. We asked for a tour and instead of letting us know they were remodeling prior to our visit and upgrading to unknowns they still walked us around with no clear picture of what was really changing and or happening. When we walked in they didn't know why we were originally there but yet we had an appointment. We were also very disappointed in the quote which was originally hand written with no clear picture or vendor choices and a horrible menu choice for food options, one page pamphlet, etc. We asked for all inclusive in our first visit, which in first quote we thought was written out, but in our second visit they said it wasn't and had to ask for another quote to be emailed. In the 2nd quote it was also an unprofessional layout and not prepared with very little detail and lots of unknowns and no specifics on vendors for fresh flowers or other vendor options as we requested etc.. leaving us very upset, as we will now be looking outside of are area. The highlight we were shown in the 2nd visit was a new lighting feature with flying dolphins which we don't care for in our wedding reception. Very laughable to be honest and unprofessional. We fully understood that we were responsible for cleaning up at the end of the night and were prepared for that. However, we did not expect to feel watched and pressured while doing so. It was uncomfortable to be closely monitored and repeatedly reminded about how trash bags needed to be tied and boxes broken down before being thrown away. During the ceremony, our flower girl dropped natural rose petals down the aisle -- something many brides choose to include. We were surprised to learn at the end of the night that we were expected to pick up every petal ourselves, outside in the cold and damp grass. Additionally, be aware that if you go even one minute past 11:00 p.m., you will be charged $100 per hour for every hour you exceed the time limit. I HIGHLY suggest you not book here! Over 10 years ago I had booked what was my wedding ceremony and reception . We had a large guest list but the gentlemen we worked with assured us they'd be able to accommodate our exceptionally large group. We did the tours, had a few walk throughs, signed the contract, put our deposit then when I was going to make my final payment (in person) the gentlemen that was helping us was not there but instead it was a very young rude girl. She denied that we ever booked a reception and that she only had us down for a ceremony. I freaked out being our wedding was only months away. The young lady must have been related to the owner bc it showed in her nonchalant attitude. She kept denying that our contract had a ceremony and reception and that they could do nothing about it bc they have a reception booked on that date and that their must have just been"miscommunication". I explained how we were already working with a gentleman there who even walked us through the venue and showed us how they would set up the reception to accommodate our guest and how we had been in conversation with him and had a contract. We were really shocked and taken back by her denying what we experienced. The best this young lady could do was offer us a refund. What horrible service what terrible lack of integrity on their part, to lie and deny is troubling. Weeks before our wedding they dropped the ball and double booked on our already reserved date and they couldn't be professional about it and admit their error. Then they had the audacity to ask for a letter saying that WE breached the contract. What?! That was ridiculous but after that experience, we didn't even want our wedding ceremony there seeing their poor communication skills, lack of professionalism, lack of integrity and lack of concern just showed us how they would've been on our wedding day. If they couldn't be honest during the process then for sure we wouldn't be able to trust them on our wedding day. The reason I'm posting this over 10 years later is because now (years later) I am just now receiving an email response from them saying that my review on the knot.com is on hold until I can prove payment and contract. I'm baffled at this email, how unprofessional is that? Where have you been the last 10+ years, why respond now? Why are you asking me to provide records and proof when you have them yourself? That's silly that a business can withhold a review because they don't like what it says (the truth about their service) and why all these years later. Why are they just now reviewing reviews of their business? That email proves that they' are still unprofessional and still disorganized and still lack integrity. I'd still never recommend this place to anyone. It was pricey then so I'm sure it's more expensive now. Not worth it. Besides we've learned it's better to invest in an extravagant honeymoon and a starter home for your marriage rather than a one day event that cost a fortune that majority of your guest won't even remember the details and money that you put into it. But that honeymoon, and that investment in your marriage both you and your spouse will remember for a life time. DITCH THIS VENUE there are plenty other cool little hip places you can find at the fraction of the price that are much more creative. Try the hidden oaks wedding venue, super affordable outdoors, historic and hip, great location, excellent service. Peer space app is also a great place to look where you can rent extravagant homes for the day without the "wedding" price tag.

I will start this review off by saying…read morethat I photograph weddings, so having a gorgeous scenic spot to marry my boyfriend/fiancé of 11 years was the #1 on our list and The Pond (+ the overcast weather haha) DELIVERED. And the #2 thing on the list was having a variety of backdrops to photograph against which we also found here no question. We first toured The Pond and met with Bonnie (the owner) back in September 2022. We had already toured 5 other venues and this ended up being our second to last tour and last day of touring. The second I stepped on the premise I knew we had found our place. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking, and well taken care of. The pond is also full of bright koi fish and other cute little friends like ducks walk around. I felt like we were already late in booking a 2023 date, but to our luck they had May 5, 2023 open which was also 11th anniversary! Easy and done. This hidden gem venue has charm and is the most unique and scenic venue I've ever been to. The main selling points for us in addition to the views were: 1. Full Bridal and Groom houses to relax and get ready in. We each had 8 bridesmaids and groomsmen + our family so it was very important to us that we could find a place that could accommodate our large party to get ready in. They also have separate parking for the wedding party right next to the Bridal/Groom houses and another larger parking lot for guests which is also free for them 2. Fun and unique areas for all of our guests to spread out and explore. Including the gazebo overlooking the pond, fire pit (for s'mores), and cove underneath the gazebo to experience a waterfall. There was also a ton of space for all our vendors to set up including a Boba Table and Photobooth 3. Affordable price that included 1 hour rehearsal the day before, 10 hours on the premise for the wedding, and our package also included the DJ and Bartender team. This was great because those vendors are already used to working with Bonnie's team and DJ Richie killed our lighting throughout the venue as well! They also set up heat lamps for us when it got colder at night 4. DIY everything! I have been looking forward to planning my wedding my whole life and had a lot of decoration and vendor ideas. Bonnie and our Coordinator team (YourDayYourWay) helped make all our ideas and plans come to life and were gracious about accommodating everything we asked for including keeping the sails down in the ceremony space for our photos, letting us do special cups for boba, and letting us choose our catering (5 Elementos Food Truck). The whole event was 100% customized by us and this was so cool since I know a lot of venues have strict rules they never bend. And for anyone who may be deterred reading this because they don't want to DIY everything, I promise the venue still looks great just as it is even without all the extra stuff. Seriously! 5. They allow sparkler exits! Not many venues in CA allow this and I was stoked they had the perfect spot for it If you happen to stumble upon my review and are wondering if you should book The Pond for your next event/wedding, just do it! :D

She is so accommodating, friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was something special. The venue itself is beyond gorgeous. So many of our guests came up to us to ask how we found such a stunning location. The setting is perfect, with beautiful hills in the background and the most incredible "stairway to nowhere" that creates breathtaking sunset views and photos. The ceremony and dance area, as well as the dinner space, are perfectly laid out and flow beautifully. And if you're looking for the perfect DIY venue that allows you to truly bring your vision to life, this is it. This venue is truly magical, and I can't say enough good things about it. I am so incredibly thankful we found the perfect place to celebrate our special day.

This is the first venue I looked at and we booked instantly. No regrets. The venue itself was amazing! It was spacious and offered us enough room to have 2 types of photo booths, dessert table, sweetheart table, gift table, along with all the food setup and guest tables. There is a built in bar & dance floor as well. They're both so nice! I will provide as much pictures as I can so you can see how beautiful it is. I 100% recommend this venue!! I would LOVE to book here again for other special events. Also I have a tip: invest in a GOOD experienced photographer. There are beautiful areas to take pictures both inside and outside so make sure you take advantage and don't pass them up. My photographer was a lady named Marlyn and she had creative ideas! Her email is marlynaphotographs@gmail.com incase anyone is interested.
