I stopped by on a Saturday late morning to see if there was anything that I could purchase on the spot. I was looking for something small to go with a birthday present for my sister. The gentleman who helped me politely explained that they didn't have anything prepared as they make everything fresh. He showed me several options and I picked the cheapest option ($32ish). He didn't try to get me to buy anything more expensive which I appreciated. He said it would take about 10 minutes. I asked if there was a notary in the neighborhood and he was helpful in recommending a place down the block. I didn't ask but he gave me a sample to try (chocolate covered apple slice). I took care of my business in less than 10 minutes, came back and my fruit arrangement was already done! It looked fine - I didn't taste any of the fruit but I was generally happy with the look of the product, the customer service, the whole experience. read more

I can't thank you guys enough! I placed an order for a dear friend who lost an immediate family member recently. I planned to see them on a Tuesday so I arranged my pick up time to be right before I saw them. Unfortunately they had unexpected emergency that day so our original plans were canceled. I stopped by and requested if I could pick up my order by Thursday or Friday. We decided Friday. I then found out I could see them on Thanksgiving so I stopped by to see if they by any chance had an order ready for me. Just received an arrangement earlier. Received a phone call around 6:50 PM regarding a delivery around 8 PM. The delivery person came around 7:30 PM rang the door bell and had a smile on his face. Don't order from this place. Workers are unmotivated & lazy. From Korea I wanted to deliver some goodies on Valentine's to my son in Queens NYC. After spending over $200 they failed to deliver everything I paid for. They didn't deliver the balloons and stuffed toy. I called them around 5pm and asked them to RE deliver everything. I was told "we wouldn't be able to do it today". I asked for the manager; after three times of calling & trying to get the manager; Mr "PAUL" wouldn't give me a call back. The staff gave me a refund. Horrible management; YES PAUL i'm speaking to you. Horrible staff. Don't waste your time or money! I am extremely upset and annoyed by the terrible customer service and delivery experience! I placed an order for delivery for a family who lost their husband and father. I admit I made a mistake of putting the wrong street number but they called early to confirm the address at 10am. They gave a delivery window of 11am-4pm (ridiculous). They were specifically told at 10am while the address was corrected, that they were leaving for her husbands funeral by 5pm. They assured her it would be there before 4pm. They get ANOTHER call asking for the address AGAIN AT 4PM, and was told the correct address AGAIN. The family was told that they were close and would be there soon. And at 6PM, WHILE THEY WERE AT THE FUNERAL, called to let them know they were outside with the delivery!!!! WTF!!! The delivery person was told that THEY WERE NOT HOME BC THEY WERE AT A FUNERAL and asked if anyone can let them in to make the delivery!!???? THIS IS HOW YOU DEAL WITH GRIEVING FAMILIES??!! When my friend told them they wouldn't be home until 9 due to the you know, THE FUNERAL, she was told, "well, that's too late." This is disgusting and I'm so annoyed!! I left an alternate number for ME (who ordered the item) who they should have called if they couldn't reach the recipient. They should have been more sensitive the first they heard that she was leaving for a funeral. And THEY SHOULD KNOW HOW TO TELL TIME AND COMMUNICATE AND TAKE BETTER NOTES!!! I'm so annoyed! Sadly, my mother passed away last week. I received two edible arrangements from colleagues yesterday from two different locations. We ate one yesterday and the other, from this location, was placed in the refrigerator. We opened it up today to eat with lunch today and there was a strong, foul, spoiled odor. We did not have this same odor with the one we ate yesterday. I called the location to tell them about this experience and the associate said that it was likely due to the honeydew melon. She said I should taste it to be sure. I told her that the smell brought me concern that it was inedible and I asked her would she eat something that smelled inedible. She said she would. I will not. I told her I would be contacting their corporate office and I did. What terrible customer service. My colleagues were trying to be nice and bring some comfort, not have me have to deal with another bad experience. "Edible Arrangements, Grand Ave- our word and services mean nothing baby!" Pretty much sums it all. Like other ex-patrons who reviewed their experiences from ordering online, my order was never delivered on the scheduled DATE. No courtesy call, phone lines were jammed, no update on the status online. At the time, I felt like they took my $127.03 and just ran away with it. I understand that volumes might be high on Valentine's day (a Tuesday) but let us know what is going on with our order! Long story short, they said they tried to deliver it at 9:30pm (when my wife had already left for work, surprise ruined- and I was already asleep), but they finally came the following day at 11am. And what do you know, the Valentine's balloon that was a part of the package was missing. I felt stiffed. I called the manager (and to my surprise actually got through), explained my situation, and he said that there was a system malfunction and that hundreds of orders were backed up. He offered to send me some chocolate covered strawberries for all the trouble I've been through. He PROMISED that it will arrive on/before Saturday. I said, "Yea, OK that sounds good." I was pissed off but also wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves. I mean things happen, nobody's perfect. So I told my wife to expect some deliciousness and we patiently waited for the remainder of the week/weekend. But, of course, the complimentary box of strawberries that he promised never came. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND NOTHING DONE ABOUT IT. I ordered a Valentines day arrangement at 8 am. It never arrived, not even by midnight. I never received a courtesy call. The store closed at 5, and the call center closed at 9pm. 24 hrs later (the day after Valentines day) I call the store to which I was told that my arrangement was en route. At this point, I no longer want the delivery to be fulfilled because I ordered a Valentines day gift, not a day after VDAY gift. Overall, I spent $120 on absolutely nothing but a headache, because that's all I received. The manager, said the best thing he could do is send me a box of chocolates. REALLY? I've spent over $120 on a product that would have been delivered a day too late (after they guaranteed same say VDay deliveries) and all I'm getting is a few stale chocolates they hand out to disappointed customers? I understand high order volume on holidays, but that is what a courtesy call is for. Had I been informed of the 24 hr delay in deliveries, I would not be wasting my time yelping right now. Perhaps their staff/manager should take competency courses so they can all learn how to deal with difficult situations. Overall, I will never be ordering from Edible Arrangements and you should not either. It is overpriced for what is essentially a game of russian roulette--just because you spend a lot of money on it, does not mean you're going to get it and dont expect management to rectify the situation as they have proven themselves incompetent of any customer satisfaction. read more
