I called, scheduled an appointment, and within a week I had rain gutters for WAY less than I expected to pay! They gave my wife a rain chain too! A few months later I had tile installed on the front of my garage and this made one of the downspouts not seat against the house properly. I called Edgewater and a technician was at my house the next morning to fix the downspout! For free! I highly recommend this company. My gutters are amazing. They look perfect. I have black gutters and down spouts. No dents or scratches. The installers we on time and very polite and friendly. They were very considerate of my property. No smashed plants!! I have never seen seamless gutters made. I asked Clarence if I could watch. He said he'd knock on my door when they start. I tried this business a few years ago to adjust slope of gutters. They did nothing but put add a corner pieces. Whoever did work came to home when no one was home and could tell them what needed to be done. They charged for something I did need and did a terrible job. I would call them again. Beware of this business they are not worth hiring and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I had an appointment with them for an estimation. The gentleman showed up on.my front door on time. I looked through the peep hole and saw that he did not have a mask on. I opened the door with my mask on and stepped away from him at least 6 feet. I asked him whether he has a mask to put on, he said No. I told him if that is the case then I cannot do business with him. He said OK and left. I can't believe that he showed up without a mask especially even the president of our country is sicked with coronavirus. read more

Prior to calling Edgewater, I called another raingutter company that was highly rated on Yelp. They told me if I sent some photos, they'd give me a quote by the end of the day. I did, and they were prompt and professional with supplying their quote. I was going to go with them but thought I should get another quote for comparison purposes. I then talked to the contactor working next door, who recommended Edgewater. The price they quoted me was significantly lower than the first company. Based on that as well as their recommendation, I hired Edgewater. I'm glad I did. They arrived on time, went right to work, and completed the job quickly. Customer service down the gutters I used this company 10 years ago to install gutters, They were great, they came in installed the gutters and did a great job. Since then I moved to a new house, I called them up to get the gutters cleaned at my new house and told the receptionist that I was a returning customer from 10 years ago. She made an appointment for somebody to come out and give me an estimate on how much it will cost. Well they never showed up, I called back to see what happened, the receptionist said let me check and call you back. well she never called back, I called back again to give them a last chance maybe they were too busy or something , The receptionist says Ohh I don't have any record of that... Maybe the company has changed ownerships because I remembered them being very professional, obviously not anymore I guess I am not calling them again and definitely not referring them to anybody else. read more

I called for an estimate for replacing my gutters and was told that I had to wait a week and that the estimate could only be done in the morning hours since the estimator "Has a kid he has to pick up". I agreed to a morning time a week in advance, took some time off work and he didn't come. When I called to check on where the estimator was, I was told he was stuck in LA and could come the next day. Very dysfunctional company. After waiting 4 weeks for an on-site estimate, the employee doing the estimate showed up over 2 hours late with a bad attitude and no apologies. Harley, the person who handles the phones and scheduling, has a nice enough phone presence, but does not return calls and tells outright lies about scheduled services. Harley told me on three separate occasions that the gutters could be installed within 2 weeks of the initial on-site estimate. The employee who finally showed up for the estimate told us that it would be 8 weeks before he could be back to actually install the gutters. We fired the company on the spot, and never even bothered with getting an estimate. read more

I had Edgewater come out to clean my gutters and was happy with their work. I was particularly happy that, when there was a problem (turned out to be an improperly installed satellite dish partially blocking a gutter), they came out several times until they figured it out, without any additional charge. read more

Used these guys on the recommendation of a neighbor; it took several weeks to get a quote. Despite giving them my email address, the quote only came by snail mail. They were hired to install three new drainspouts, clean out and patch existing gutters and five leaking corners. Paul, who came out, was great. The guys who did the work though nice were not as good. After the first visit, three of the corners still leaked and cut out metal discs from the new downspout install were left on the ground where my toddler could find them and he could have cut himself. I called and asked them to come back out again and fix them properly. After some back and forth they sent a guy back out and he resealed the miters again. But one is still leaking! Their patch involved 1/4 -1/2 inch of white silica pasted across 8" inside the miters, so those now need to be completely replaced. Will use a different company. Cannot recommend this firm. read more

I used this company on August 2015 . It was a pain in the butt to get them to come and give me an estimate, they were 2 hours late and the same story for the day they came to install the gutters. They were suppose to be at my house at 8 am they showed up at 3pm they said they went to get the material and there was a lot of traffic but they never called to let me know they were running late. Finally they installed the gutters and did them wrong I called them to came and fix them and I am still waiting. Very disappointed not professional at all I only give them 1 star because there is no star option read more

I've had a horrible experience with Edgewater Rain Gutters! I contacted them to come-by and give me an estimate. We set a date and time, only for them to completely be a no show. After speaking to them, they admitted that they forgot to put my appointment in their schedule. They came a week later and gave me an estimate. I decided to give them a second chance and hire them since they had done work for me in the past. I spoke to the owner who scheduled me for a 9:30am installation. At 10:00am I get a call saying that they will be at least 2 hours late because they were far away and needed to get material for the job. At this point, I was very disappointed. I had taken time-off from work to meet them for the initial estimate appointment, which they blew off. I had also taken my morning off just so that I can meet them; let them in the property for them to start their work. Finally, I told them not to bother with the installation. I cannot work with a company that has serious deficits in customer service. Altogether, I lost almost an entire day of work without getting my gutters installed, due to the lack of planning, preparedness, and professionalism from Edgewater Rain Gutters. I gave them a second chance, was loyal to them and all I got was the need to find another company to install my gutters. Very disappointing! I do not recommend this company! read more
