The check-in process was super easy and the people that worked there made sure to get my mother and I accommodated on our bikes. Even though this wasn't my first time cycling, they still helped me out. What I really love about this place is that the instructor came to us before the class started to get to know our names and who we were. And while the class was going on, she would yell out words of encouragement directed to each individual. This really made the experience more personalized since instead of telling "come on everyone you can do this", it was "come on Sarah, you got this, keep pushing". This really motivated me more to push myself during the class. Additionally, I like how its first come first serve in terms of picking your bike here. No need to worry about reserving a specific bike when you can pick whatever bike that you want. I also like how this is in the beginning of PB so you don't have to drive all the way down Garnet just to get to the class, it's pretty much right off the 5. They also have their own parking lot which means no struggling for parking, yay!

Pros: -lockers are available- you don't need to bring your own lock, there are instructions in the locker on how to lock up your items -first shoe rental is complimentary -the instructor, Georgia, was upbeat, friendly, and knew peoples names in the class -I appreciated that the room itself was on a darker side so there's a level of comfort in there as well -parking was no issue- it fell within the free validation hours. Cons: -n/a Since this is located in the mall, I did feel a little strange walking back to my vehicle all sweaty after working out. But it seems like folx get used to it. I have a great filtration system at my house so I know. my tester reads 25 ( very drinkable) and their tester is over 300 ( yuck ) Thats San Diego unfiltered water .. I have spoken to many employees already / it seems like they are unable to help .. For 300+ a month they should be ashamed of themselves. they even have water fountains with a filtration co name on the sink which is misrepresenting like it's filtered . I tested it. It's not !! Its is not filtered in the bathroom. It's not filtered in the main gym ; and it is not filtered in the restaurant. I don't know about you, but I don't want a smoothie made with sink water and I don't want to work up a sweat and drink sink water thats unfiltered I hope they Fix or charge us less each month! Also don't be dishonest and have your water in a place where it looks like it's filtered. I would think you could get in trouble for doing that. At the very lease I hope this review wakes up management and someday soon we can bring our water bottles from home to fill up with filtered water ..

I went to the 7 am boxing class so street parking was easy to find. This studio also has spin bikes, punching bags, treadmills, free weights and a Pilates reformer room in the back. Bruno was the boxing instructor for the class. He had us warm up running on the treadmill or outside. I opted for the treadmill since it was in the low 50s this morning. There were two other students in the class besides me. Bruno had us do 3 or 4 different circuits. My memory is a little hazy since it was early in the morning and I hadn't had any breakfast plus I was still tired from the previous night's workout. From what I remember, the hour-long class involved box jumps (up-down and side-to-side), punching the bag, working on punch routines with the instructor, side-to-side hops over the cones, smashing the medicine ball, and other ab-core work. Overall, it was a great workout. Everybody was friendly. It was my first time at this studio; I plan on going back again.

I was first introduced when my son was visiting from DC and brought me to a few classes. After he left, I had a choice--go back to doing nothing or keep showing up. I decided to stick with it, and I'm really glad I did. The structure of the workouts makes it easy to stay consistent, and the energy in the room is incredible. What really stands out, though, is the support from the coaches. They make you feel comfortable, push you when you need it, and genuinely want to see you succeed. A big thank you to Gemma, Lorenzo, and Sarah for all the encouragement and support. You've made this a great experience.

The only reason I'm at 4 stars is because they canceled class once and made no attempt to contact me or other members ahead of time.
