Since summer 2024, I've been attending Activate House regularly. The instructors are skilled, the workouts are consistently challenging and beneficial, and I've observed tangible progress. It's become an important component of my weekly schedule.

Great space, clean , Smells like essential oils! Booked the class because of the Music and it did not disappoint.

I love Activate House and the team so much! AH is much more than just a fitness studio. The staff and community are all so positive and encouraging, this really elevates and distinguishes the experience from other places. There is also such a diverse range of classes (Hot Sculpt, Spin, Hot Yoga, and Pilates) and all of the instructors are super knowledgeable and motivating. So much thought and care is put into enhancing everyone's experience here, such as ice-cold eucalyptus towels after class and fun themed cycling rides. I genuinely look forward to coming here (and I was not a person who would exercise regularly at all). The atmosphere and sense of community has allowed me to incorporate exercise into my routine and be more disciplined about my fitness overall. I noticed Stephanie handing out granola bars, just making sure everyone had something in their stomachs and were good to workout, and I think this is so sweet and just a testament to the extent of care that is poured into your wellness here. Consistently things that are not expected, but very much really appreciated!

Definitely one of the most carefully crafted yoga studios I have ever been to. You sort of feel like you've been transported to somewhere in Southeast Asia. I love that there are heat lamps, blankets, and other accessories for use during the class. Although, the space is epic I didn't really find enjoyment in the class. It was supposed to be a relaxing low impact yoga class focusing on slow movements but I didn't really feel that at all. The instructor was nice but I found her transitions were confusing and sometimes didn't make sense. She wasn't really saying the name of the poses either. To me the instructions felt like I was taking a Pilates class. We were also holding the poses in my opinion way too long to the point I was actually feeling pain. And some poses were really advanced and didn't make me feel relaxed at all. I personally do not like it when there are lyrics in the music when I do yoga. Although it was more mellow indie songs I found it extremely hard to focus and it was kind of loud too. I would prefer just non lyrical relaxing music. At least for the part where we just sit/lay down towards the end. In summary, I don't think I would come back. I am used to donation based yoga around San Diego. If you want more traditional yoga I would just stick to the free classes around town.

The instruction is wonderful (I learn something new and powerful in every class) and at the same time the teachers leave space for the students to practice at their own pace and adjusting poses to fit their particular needs. A business shows their values through their priorities. When I called and tried to book a class today I could only get an AI chat bot. It didn't understand that I was trying to book 1 of 2 available classes today. Then it couldn't find my account in the system. When someone called back later, he acted like I should've known that I could've just come in. Well maybe if someone answered or the website said that, I wouldn't have booked a class with a studio that answered my call. When the guy on the phone tried to offer assistance, another person who I didn't know was on the line started asking for my personal information. At this point I didn't even feel comfortable disclosing my name, and I don't feel welcomed or comfortable coming back to this studio. Sad because I had some really important emotional breakthroughs here. But I guess they don't even know I exist or have my account in their records so I don't know... I'm disappointed in South Park Yoga. And I do not want to support business that use AI like this. It's lazy, anti-human, anti-spirit, goes against everything I agree with and honestly, yoga is supposed to be about Purpose, Process, Soul, Intention, Grounding, REAL LIFE. What does it say about a yoga studio that uses AI? The soul is gone. Or it's AI generated now. Brad and Marilyn: I didn't know you were both on the line until you started talking over each other. It was uncomfortable. And yes it is a replacement for human connection when this is the result. And how was I supposed to know I could text a phone number? Yes, it has been years, but I was trying to come back... now I feel foolish trying to book. I am so utterly disappointed, especially in this response. I won't try and visit you all again don't worry.

I had worked out a few days before and was still feeling sore going in, but by the time I left, the soreness was completely gone. The instructor Claire was amazing. She was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire class. She explained the poses well and offered adjustments so everyone could get the most out of the session. The only downside was how many people were in the class. It was super crowded, but they did a good job spacing everyone out so that you still had your own little area without bumping into anyone. The studio itself was very clean and had a calming, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind. Overall, it was a refreshing experience. If I was not moving to Chicago, I would definitely sign up for the membership.
