They say you snooze and you lose. I wish I bought this business before it was hot. This liquor store has been on the market for so long and no one saw the value. The current owner/employee decided to give it a shot and renovated it. Best liquor store for all your needs + deli store. Best wishes to their business going forward!

Delicious and very reasonable sandwiches for the city. Found this shop by searching on Yelp. We usually hit up different sandwich restaurants in the city after going to the Academy. We went with Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Santorini, One Night Stand, and The Harvest. We ordered mostly on Dutch Crunch. Its a good sandwich bread, but its also a LOT of bread to bite through. My favorite was the One Night Stand. Service was decent for the amount of sandwiches ordered. Definitely a hidden secret in the streets around Golden Gate Park. Btw parking is a little stressful here

This place has very good sandwiches. My cousin Vinny sandwich had fresh meat and it was delicious. There wer a great selection of chips and beverages. There was plenty of wine. This is a cool corner store.

2 slices of cheese and one piece of bacon! Oh wait...wilted lettuce too. Seriously Eddy's?? Also, I'm a vegetarian!

I keep giving this place chances and they keep screwing up! I ordered their cheese sandwich (I'm a vegetarian) and they literally sent me a bacon sandwich. The worst part is, the sandwich is pathetic, even for a bacon sandwich.

absolutely atrocious sandwich. barely any turkey, onions cut an inch thick, and put together very messy. save your money and put it towards a sandwich you'd actually want to eat.

Cross section of half a Cousin Vinnie (minus a couple of bites). Basically a very delicious Italian sandwich.

I can't remember what used to be here, but apparently Eddy's Food Store has recently remodeled. In addition to a solid selection of random corner store items, wine, liquor, beer, and, most notably, a deli! The guys who work here are really friendly, and they make a solid sandwich. They were careful to ask us if we wanted to take anything off our sandwiches or add any additional toppings. They have some fun predetermined sandwich recipes, with names like "Richard Simmons" (turkey, avocado) or "Cousin Vinnie" (basically an Italian sandwich), as well as turkey. We ordered two sandwiches and they were ready in about 5-10 minutes. We wandered around the store during that time, and when our sandwiches were ready, the guy went and found us to hand off our sandwiches. It's that nice personal touch that makes me really appreciate local businesses like this. Not sure if they saw some of the Yelp reviews below, but everything in the fridge, including the beer, was labeled clearly with the price when I went. We picked up some booze to go with our toasted sandwiches, paid, and went on our merry way. Overall, a solid transaction. The sandwiches themselves? We didn't get the chance to eat them until a couple of hours after they were made, but they were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Maybe next time I'll try a cup of their chili.

Grab and go as fast as possible!

Hmmmm.....there is something off about this store! The shelves are not completely stocked here. But, they do have cold drinks in the refrigerator which is the reason for my coming here. When I walked in here today I had no clue what to expect. Today was the first time that I walked into this place and it might be the last. Once inside I saw that there was not a lot of snacks or items in store. It seemed as though this place was going through some kind of transition of items or inventory. The floor merchandise just looked bare and rather boring. The shelves were not full at all. It was a good think that I came her solely for a drink. I was able to find exactly what I wanted without and trouble. The clerk working seemed disinterested as well. The clerk seemed more interested in his behind the counter business, whatever that was, instead of keeping an on the store. But, whatever, I guess that is just how it goes down here. I guess "Eddy" is okay with this so why make this an issue!!! I feel as though this place has the potential to be a very popular place if some modifications are made. Adding some color to this inside of this place would be a huge draw. Inviting and warm colors would be a good start. Also, full shelves would be another draw. Stock up on candy, chips, cookies, ice cream, trail mix, nuts, and beer. PRESENTATION is KEY when appealing to customers!!!! These are just my suggestions but at the end of the day you do what you want! Best of luck to all customers that venture here. #happyshopping #aloof #snacks

The "My Cousin Vinny" sandwich. So good!!

Love this place! The new owners have put a LOT of work into the place and made it a really great little corner store. They have all sorts of good snacks, pantry essentials, and a good selection of reasonably priced beers and wines. The boys who own it are super helpful and nice if you need help making a decision about drinks. I just tried the deli for the first time today and wow! The sandwich was great and MASSIVE (literally the entire length of my forearm). Great price (less than $10) for a sandwich that will last me probably three meals. Super happy with this little market!

Pathetic still and probably always…read more It's a terrible program if you need to have any kind of portability in a photo database. There is no easy way to move a database or part of the database from one computer to another. The customer service is unbelievably insulting and bad. Sometimes they do reply, but better they don't. They do not deserve your patronage. The following email passes for product support. The entire thread isn't available, but 5 days prior my friend had followed directions to try a third party fix. The reply email is wrong, that the fix had been tried and that it did not work had been communicated to Cerious. Their initial response? All questions had been answered and they were closing the ticket; somehow the problem had to have been caused by a party other than Cerious. That pathetic response was addressed below in the original message. That was the extent of insult to the person providing support, Laura Shook. That it was pathetic. Their reply bemoaned some fantasy of non cooperation: -----Reply Message----- This is Phillip, developer of ThumbsPlus. First Adam and then Laura provided correct and polite answers every time in this case, and you replied each time by denying what was clearly said and being obnoxious and rude. I have no idea why you refused to do what you were told would correct the problem that Laura correctly identified as being with MICROSOFT'S Windows Installer database or MSI cache on your system. Laura was also perfectly correct about having nothing to do with version 8. Version 9 uses a completely different Windows Installer product code, and installs and runs completely independently from version 8. In the screen shot which YOU provided, and which I have attached again here, it's crystal clear that there is a problem locating the .MSI file from version 9 (NINE) SP1. I even enlarged and colorized the relevant information from the error message for you. So please follow the initial instructions, quoted below for your convenience. After you remove ThumbsPlus 9 using this tool, you should be able to install the latest build. If it doesn't work, let us know and we will investigate further. --- An easier way has been reported to me from other users. I now have a link to a newer M$ uninstall/install fix executable. I have not announced this yet on the pages yet but if we continue to get great results we will put a link on our pages to it. This file was created to fix this issue caused by an error in the Windows installer folder on your system. support.microsoft.com/ma... After this, the new installer should operate correctly. --- If you continue to refuse and continue to be a condescending jackass, it will not be possible for anyone here to help you with this problem further. This is consistent with my first encounter with you, pathetic still and probably always.

This quaint little tavern of a spot is a true hidden gem of SF, or at least of Pacific Heights…read more Okay, maybe Lower Pac Heights. Okay maybe it's not actually a gem at all, but rather a pebble that happens to be somewhat shiny. It's a tiny little family-run joint no larger than a 3-bedroom apartment. They don't even have a website! It's barely visible from the street but once you squeeze between a minimart and a salon of some sort and climb up the hidden stairs in this mini-alley, you'll find yourself on your way to the adventure of a lifetime. Once up the dingy and disgusting stairs, the impeccably spotless front lobby of the establishment leaves you feeling immaculate from within. All that changes however as you enter the actual Den. This private VIP room has a decor of its own that is a bit disjointed from the rest of the place. The immaculateness seems to end at the door of the den, but the sloppy interior adds a homely feel which I ain't complaining about. Among the oddities of this joint is a random hatch in the wall that opens up to the great outdoors. It is a tiny hatch, barely wide enough to stick an arm though. I am told that it is the remains of an ancient garbage chute that once was. Many people however use it as a convenient means of checking the weather, or so I hear. Musical instruments, such as guitars, abound the area and seem to have been left behind by past inhabitants. If you go to the back, you can open up a strange closet, only to find a random light deep within its bowels that can be turned on from the outside. There are beds to lie down on. With no official "hours", the Lobster's Den is always open as a chill hangout and party spot, unless the owner is away. There's often drinking that occurs, but mostly I have seen people either studying there or sleeping, oddly enough. I used to always see this one cute little Indian number in there. Actually she's the only reason I would go there, to tell you the truth. This hottie was always there, so you single guys out there should definitely check this place (her) out, especially if a little spicy Indian flavor's your thing. Now if that doesn't scream Local Flavor, I don't know what does. The other day, Samir and I were hanging out there at 3am, just kicking it with her. And that was when we found out that she's the owner! She gave us the grand tour. Grand old time indeed. The only reason I give it 3 stars is the emptiness of this place. This owner chiquita's practically the only person that's ever there. I mean I don't really mind that all that much, but still! A little new blood wouldn't hurt. Although once I did see a tall manager in there. No one really knows about this place, and it's no wonder. They don't even have a website! I mean come on! In this day and age! No wonder I'm the first person to Yelp it. The sexy mama was telling us, however, that they may shift their location in another couple months. So maybe they're holding out for that. Hopefully the new one will be better publicized. And hopefully there will be more chicks there.
