Meeting them was a comfort during a very stressful event and they even spoke to the insurance company on my behalf which was HUGE mental relief. They got me a referral code from my insurance agent for a rental car & had it delivered to the same location before I even realized everything on my agenda for the day needed a backup plan. A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were parked on a local street in my car getting ready to…read moreleave for home. We hadn't moved yet when suddenly a pick-up truck took a too tight left turn into a store parking lot and clipped my bumper while doing so. My front bumper was pulled half off which also created a small dent on the right side panel adjacent to the bumper. UGH! The best thing of course is that no one was injured but honestly what a pain! Two weeks prior to this accident I had noted a large and deep scratch on the passenger side rear door...it looked like someone had keyed my car door. Getting the car door repainted was on my to-do list, and now here I had this accident on my hands. Cohasset Collision has a great reputation and fortunately is but a couple of miles from my home. Their work is guaranteed. Although I had to wait a couple of days until they had time to work on my car, I was pleased that it was finished within 5 days which was less time than they had estimated. I brought it in on a Monday morning and got a call at 8:00am on Friday that it was ready for pickup. I was thrilled when I got my car back...it looked like new. They had offered to "touch up" the door scratch if I didn't want to pay the $1,200.00 to have the whole door painted but I opted to do it right; a touch up didn't seem like the right place to try to save a few bucks. The door looks great, and perfectly matches the tough to match pearl white paint color on my car. Not only does my car look like new and the work is guaranteed but when I walked over to my car to inspect the work I was not only happy with the job they did but very pleased to see that the card had been washed. When I got in the car to drive it away I was pleasantly surprised to note that they had also thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed the entire interior. It even smelled like new. They have a car rental service on the premises which I did not need...but of course that is a convenient service. In talking to the desk staff there, the owners are on premises (in fact we dealt with one of them) and we were told that most of the staff have worked there for years and years. That's a good sign in my opinion. They do have a car waxing service available which I am going to take advantage of this fall. Part of taking good care of your car is not just washing it but ensuring that it is properly hand-waxed and buffed. Cohasset Collision has my business...although other than getting it waxed I hope I don't need their services any time soon!

I was just in an accident where a guy changed into my lane and hit my car. My car had pretty bad…read moredamage on the front passenger's side around the tire. Even though they were very busy with work, they took the time to look at my car because I was worried about how it was sounding when I drove it, and because they thought it was a safety issue (since the tire may have been pushed in), they agreed to take my car in right away to work on it as soon as they could. Just got my car back today, and it looks AMAZING. They worked to get my insurance appraiser back out to the shop quickly when they found internal damage that hadn't been appraised the first time around. They worked well with me to help me understand the insurance process and everything I would need to know. I don't know cars that well, and I always felt like I understood what they were talking about but didn't feel they were talking down to me or anything (especially since I'm female and younger). They also gave me a quote (when I asked) to fix my brakes (since they were already in bad shape), which was a reasonable price. And they were totally okay when I decided to do the brakes on my own. They even gave me advice because one of the employees had the same car as mine! What car shop does that? Brendan went out of his way to help me with my insurance and the repairs in general. I can't recommend this place enough. I used them for my first accident as a driver on this same car about 6 or 7 years ago and I will be using them again if I need to.

This was an attempt to "snag" the claim, thus leaving me with no choice on who did the repairs! It's a dirty underhanded and sneaky thing to do! My car, my choice! I would have been left with no way home had I fallen for this attempt to take my choice of repair shop! When I file an insurance claim, I like 3 estimates, this allows all involved with choices!
