A pitstop from So Cal to Las Vegas and is a local attraction. On the way to Las Vegas there are only a few decent possible pitstops and this maybe the best one. This place is like a giant version of a gas station store. There are multiple gas stations so you can get gas, snacks, and use the bathroom at the same stop. The bathroom is huge but the lady's line is always long so do expect a small wait. The only reason I don't have a 5 star is because the items in the gift shop are all sweet candies and pretty much a giant tourist trap. The selections though are extensive. There are about 10 refrigerators just for cold drinks, and rows and rows of different types of gummies. Their beef jerky section is huge too. This is THE place to stop on your drive from LA to Vegas or back. It's a spot you can get gas, use the (relatively clean and plentiful) facilities, and find a vast selection of foods and snacks for all hours of the day. They have prepared hot options as well as a variety of sweet and salty pre-packaged goodies, and even an in-house beef jerky spot. Prices are not the cheapest but you're getting good value for where you are, basically in the middle of nowhere. I always try to fill up my gas tank in Nevada before driving out as I know it's almost always a dollar per gallon cheaper than here at Eddie's, but in a pinch it's a reliable place to stop and refill. Never tried their ice cream but other people seemed to love it each time I stop here. Maybe one day. read more

Alright, so, we go to Vegas at least once a year, and we obviously pass this spot every time, since its on the way from Riverside. Normally we don't really stop anywhere until we get there. We finally stopped in this year to gas up and use the restroom, and we were not expecting what we found. I'm almost ashamed to say we had no idea how huge this place is! Like, holy wow, its ginormous! There is a plethora of snacks, drinks, and gifts. Not to mention a menagerie of people, as it's apparently a Hotspot for tourists (terrible Inland Empire natives lol). With how large and busy this place is, we were pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. Even the restrooms were clean, and that's saying a lot for somewhere so packed. The lines for the checkout were crazy long, so we didn't end up buying anything inside cuz we were trying to make our check-in time in Vegas. Stopped at EddieWorld for some coffee and snacks. We like this stop on the way to LV. As much as EddieWorld gets busy it's always a good place to stop and stock up on snacks and coffee. We also appreciate the Lakers wall and paintings wall by the dining area. So many beautiful art pieces. You can also get some Peet's Coffee and ice cream. The lady employee at the coffee stand was very helpful and nice. The cashier is also very welcoming and nice. This place is the stop over of all stop over when driving from LA to LV. Giant cupcake! Best place to stop for a potty break. Super clean, never had to wait, best diaper changing area on the route to Vegas. I've never stopped for gas nor used the Tesla chargers (I don't have a Tesla.. lol). But I do get lured by the prepacked candy. But I would skip it. I got a bag of extra soun, sour belts... There is a HUUUUUUGE Ice Cream in front that you can see from miles down the freeway. It's a big candy store that also has an ice cream shop, burger/food place, jerky shop, Peets Coffee, drinks and regular snacks inside. It also has a big gas station and several charging stations, though I don't know if they have Tesla chargers, but I can't imagine they don't. We stopped here on the way home from Vegas. I was amazed! I wanted to stop by on the way to Vegas but we couldn't so on the way home I had to. I'm so glad I did. Most times it's an alternative for a restroom break but every time you step foot into this place, it feels like a child in a candy store (literally). People usually stop here for gas, charge their vehicles, restroom break or to grab something to eat or snack on. There's a food area in here along with memorabilia. You can also find many options for snacks such as candies, nuts, drinks, etc. Place is definitely packed with goodies and even if you're just here for a restroom break, you'll probably end up picking something up to snack on. Eddieworld is definitely worth a stop. It is an incredibly large gas station with every single variety of junk food snack you could hope for. It feels like you stepped into a Costco, they have rows and rows of candy and nuts. They also have small booths where are they sell ice cream, jerky and other things. The first time I went here I was pretty amazed and spent a long time wandering up and down the aisles looking at all the stuff. After having been back two or three more times and having been to Buccee's in the south I have a few issues. 1 Almost All the goods here are generic house brand bulk packaging. You are forced to buy large quantities of anything that you're buying. 2. Pricing is pretty unreasonable. There is a definite feeling of price gouging on most everything. 3. Fountain drink selection is terrible. They have one small soda fountain and more than one time when I've been here they were out of cups. In a gas station this size I would expect at least what is found in most Maverick gas stations, which is every single variety of Coke and Pepsi products you could ask for available in a very large bank of fountains with multiple size and styles of cup. The last stop in here just reaffirmed to me that I don't need to come back. I've checked out the novelty, but I'd rather just stop at a good gas station with reasonable prices and without huge lines. read more

Situated between Los Angeles and Las Vegas in the city of Yermo, California, EddieWorld is the largest gas station in California and markets itself as having the cleanest, public bathrooms in the desert. Yes, it is a good stop for gas or bathroom break, if needed...which we have taken advantage of in the past. It is also a good place to pick up candy, jerky, and other finger snacks. But what impressed me the most was the quality of the fast casual food served here. It was great...definitely way above gas station quality. We left Las Vegas in the late morning, driving about 2 hours to stop here for lunch. I didn't know if the food was carry-out only, but a little investigation showed there was a decent size dining area towards the back, with a large self -serve soda machine. This immediately let me know we could order whatever we wanted and eat it dine-in. You place and pay for your order in the back, receiving a number which is what you use to pick it up (no table service). They had beer on tap, so made pizza a must. Also tried some of their other dishes, between the three of us. Signature Pizza ($14.99) - they have a dedicated pizza oven, similar to what they use at a place like Blaze Pizza. It also has the same concept of individual pizza like Blaze with as many toppings as you want, or choosing their signature. My wife decided to try the Hawaiian, and it came out within 10 minutes. There is also choices of just cheese ($9.99), one topping ($11.99) or two topping ($12.99) if you don't want the unlimited. For the price, it was a really good pizza...completely unexpected from a gas station. Pacifico Draft 24oz ($9.95) - ice cold and went great with the pizza and sandwich. 3 pc chicken basket($11.99) - Big sign proclaims that the chicken for their chicken fingers is fresh, never frozen...and it certainly showed. My mother-in-law was really impressed with her meal, recognizing that the chicken tenders seemed to have been hand breaded. I shared a small piece, and I liked it better than Raising Cane's. It came with a layer of battered fries. Eddie World Philly Sandwich ($15.95) - this was the clear winner for me: a sandwich much better than a sum of its parts. Not sure if the bread was a Amaroso (I don't think so?), but it went perfectly with the sandwich: solid enough not to disintegrate but soft enough to meld with the filling. Everything in the filling (grilled steak, onions, peppers, mushrooms) was chopped very fine...and there were hard, gristly steak pieces letting you know this was real steak, not Steak-Ums. But what surprised me was the use liberal use of mayo...along with the provolone and nacho sauce, it created a sauce that made every bite scrumptious. It was big enough for me to take home, and it was just as good the next day. There is only one bathroom for each gender here, and it is hidden to the side. But it certainly is big enough to close off one portion for cleaning while the other half was being used. And as described, the bathrooms were indeed as clean as advertised. Well Casa de Fruta in Hollister is bigger and has a sit down restaurant with servers. Anyway I think the slogan is just that, you can claim whatever you want on a billboard. Men's room stall: out of toilet paper, had to use a couple seat covers to "clean up". Snacks are the main attraction here, all kinds of them except for peanut butter cups. Bring a credit card cuz the snacks are not cheap. The jerky station prices were about $30 for 4 ounces. Yes, it's cheaper than weed, but on par with wagyu beef. First, this place does not compare to Buc-ee's by any measure. My family and I were road tripping through and decided to stop and check out Cali's largest gas station. It makes for a fun place to take pictures. They offer snacks galore, both healthy and not so healthy. We loved their black licorice. I tried the beetroot chips and they were delicious. I'm craving more. You can also buy freshly cooked food. We tried the quesadillas and they were really good. They also have a beef jerky bar. But there is a $20 minimum.
