Eddie's altered 2 pairs of my bf's pants, one was suit pants the other dress pants. While they came out nice I'm going to say the price was way higher then either of us were expecting. $120 for both. One needed hemming and a bit taken in in the butt, the other needed to be slimmed down in the leg but no hemming or other alterations. Maybe that's standard, but because he didn't give us a price ahead of time we were a bit shocked, especially since I'm pretty sure we barely paid that much for the dress pants. lol Oh well, it least they're done now and good to go. read more

Took my dirtbike pants here to have a leather piece sewn on the leg. He charged me $30 and sew vinyl (leather print) on the knee with a single stitch and nothing through the middle of the fabric. Fabric wasn't even cut to any contour it's literally a square. I asked beforehand if he worked with leather and I stated I needed heat and durability protection. Not this vinyl crap. read more

The zipper on my suit pants had broken, so I went in to get it fixed. Eddie did a great job and had it done on time and for the price he quoted when I brought them in. But then he saw the hemming at the bottom of the pant legs right after I paid. He asked, "who did this hemming work?" I told him, and he said, "look at the hemming here, it's terrible. I can't let you leave here with this. Sit down." I saw what he meant, and he was right, it looked pretty unprofessional. I sat there for maybe 5 minutes extra as he quickly undid the hemming and redid it. It looked so much better than before. He said, "no charge" and went right on to the next customer. You can tell that Eddie really knows his stuff but also really cares. He's not just doing the job, he will go the extra mile. HORRIBLE!!! Took my daughters Prom dress there to be altered. Quoted $50-100. Then called me and told me it would be $200.00. Got the dress and I seriously doubt that ANYTHING was done to the dress. EDDIE IS THE MAN!!! I called another alteration shop, and they quoted me $55.00 and 2 weeks to complete my zipper repair. I called Eddie, not wanting to spend that much on an older coat. Eddie stated, "I need to see the zipper; I may be able to save you some money." Once Eddie saw the zipper, he stated, "The zipper is fine. You just need a new guide." If you care about your clothes and how you look in them, come to Eddie's. Unlike a bad haircut that will grow back, your clothes don't have a the same ability which is why I'm extremely happy that I found Eddie. He is proficient and skilled at what he does and I've have never had any issues but only compliments from others on how well my clothing fits me. He has good taste and knows quality clothing and how it make it fit you properly. I usually go to him for formal or work clothing but he does everything under the sun. There is no set price but he is a very reasonable gentleman especially for his quality of work. My second visit! Fantastic work! If he's not busy and you don't have a major alteration, he'll take care of it then and there. My husband wanted a pair of suit trousers hemmed, but couldn't make it in. So he gave me a current pair of well fitting trousers to compare measurements with. My experience here was disappointing. I brought two of my fav pairs of raw denim for alteration. I gave clear instructions what needs to done. He did his own thing & ruined the style. He kept repeating that's what He can do & did not offer to fix it. I will not go there again. read more

I had a mixed bag of garments that needed to be fixed. I walked in and Eddie (?) was sitting right there working away. He said hello and quickly asked me what I had for him. I took out each piece and explained what needed to be fixed and to my shock and amazement he just simply started working on them! Happily, I was walking out of his business less than 15 minutes later with three pairs of pants completely fixed for $25 bucks. I will definitely be going back! I am still going to Eddie's for anything that I need done by way of alterations. I feel the need to comment on the person that gave him one star because you could have walked out with your garment and told him you thought it was too much money. He tells you the price upfront so you had every opportunity to not have him do the work. In my view, if I take him a $1000 lined formal dress I would be a little scared to pay $40 to have it hemmed. I have been going to see Eddie since 2009 and he's the master of tailoring and alterations. I trust him to do the simplest to the most intricate of work. He took a WHBM dress that was 6-8 sizes too big and was able to make it look like it was made and fit for me. He also was able to take my favorite tan and white pinstripe pants from BR that ripped from my days launching at the plant on a metal vehicle part and made it impossible to find where the hole once was. He has sewn many of my cashmere sweaters with moth holes and made them whole again and has made my entire wardrobe look custom fit to me. Eddie is a magician with his antique or new sewing machine. His wife is also a great seamstress. I trust no other tailor or seamstress in the world more than him. He's the last and only tailor you will ever need or want. He did a stellar job on my fiancé's linen and lined pants. It's a small shop off 11 mile and in a small shopping center but it is constantly busy, buzzing and churning out some great work Eddie's next project is hemming up my lace wedding dress, adding cup inserts, cinching in the waist and removing some boning and designing the American bustle. I can't wait to see what magic he does on my wedding dress next month. I went for my second fitting about a week later, the cup inserts were in and fit well and the boning was taken out and the waist was smoothed out. The hem had to be adjusted and the train was pinned to the back of the dress location. I will go back in a little over a week for my final fitting. I can't wait to see the dress when it's done. My final fitting was quick and easy and my dress was done within 3 days. Eddie called me to let me know the dress was done if I wanted to pick it up ahead of Thursday, 5 days earlier than estimated. Eddie might be pricey to some, but the quality of his work is the best I have ever seen and experienced. I trust him with any and off my my easy to hard pieces. Eddie is always super friendly, attentive and professional as is his wife. I have been going to Eddie for 9 years and will entrust my clothes to him for as long as he continues to work.
