I didn't realize that a tie was left in the suit and they kindly took it out and saved it for me for when I picked up my items. I have gone here a couple times and gotten things hemmed and dry cleaned. The first couple times no issues and the prices were very reasonable. My last visit things seemed to have changed, my ticket for 3 items to get hemmed were 45 dollars. Which I thought was odd because last time I took about 8 items to get hemmed and some dry cleaning that bill was only 100 dollars. When I went up to pick up the three items today my bill has now gone up to 64 dollars because "the tailor sets her pricing and I have no control." But wouldn't you have some control over the pricing because my ticket said 45 not 64? The stitching isn't that great to be charging 20 dollars per item anyway. It was just upsetting because when you try to support local businesses some aren't great and try to take advantage of people. read more

Gangsters. Went there to have 3 patches sewn on a hoodi. They initially gave me a receipt with no price on. When I returned for the hoodi, they had a printed receipt asking for $35.00 for sewing on 3 patches. I didn't pay that much for the hoodi. I told them to keep it. It's useless to them as it's a US Army hoodi with Viet Nam patches. $35.00, pure gangster. read more

This cleaners is close to my home so my husband decided to give them a try! He dropped off suit jackets, pants, shirts and one navy blue peat coat. Picked up his items in a rush as we were leaving for vacay the next day and didn't realize until the evening that they didn't return his coat. Messed up his whole vacay outerwear plan! Then when he called the cleaners they totally brushed him off and told him they had given it to him. What!!! Then when we return from vacay he goes in and the owner rudely brushed him off like it's not a big deal they LOST HIS COAT!!! Not a shirt, not a pair of pants but A COAT!!! And they didn't even offer any compensation. Obviously we won't be returning to this cleaners and hopefully they go out of business soon!! We need a new dry cleaners in the neighborhood that has some respect for its neighbors!! read more

STAY AWAY! The owner is very HOSTILE and refused to work with us even after they admitted to not following what we asked them to do. We went to Sullivan's for an urgent matter in helping us launder and package some shirts. I talked with the business in working with us on our requirements to which they agreed. However, they didn't follow our instructions and also charged us double of what they originally agreed to. On top of all of that, they held our clothes hostage when we didn't want to pay their prices. They also didn't offer to correct their mistake, instead getting into a heated argument and throwing me out of the store. Please DO NOT use Sullivans as they CANNOT be trusted. This was may place, never had an issue. I'd always have my shirts and suit (jacket, vest and pants) dry cleaned after wearing by Sullivan Cleaners. However when it mattered most they failed me. I took my three piece suit and shirt there to be cleaned before I went on a cruise. Once on the ship I went to open my suit up to see two stains on the jacket and one stain on the vest. I then had to have them cleaned on the ship before I could use them. I'm not saying they created the stains, but they definitely didn't clean my suit. Terrible! I have never had a problem with getting things dry cleaned here! I have taken bridesmaids dresses, suits, etc and they all have came back fine. I believe it was around $13 to get a bridesmaids dress dry cleaned and to be honest, I never had got one dry cleaned before so I'm not sure if that is average or not, but it seems reasonable to me! read more

The owners are great. Kind and professional, and always rush my cleaning when requested. I've come here for many years with very expensive clothing and have never had an issue with damage. In addition, I've utilized their tailoring services as well and the work is always up to par and ready before its pickup date. I would give this place four stars, but I'm not exactly sure what a drycleaner could do to make me say, "Yay! I'm a fan." Well, I guess if I had some weird stain to get out and they took it out and had it ready in an hour -- that would be impressive. But, all I've ever done at Sullivan Cleaners is take some sweaters, dresses, pants, etc. in dirty, and gotten them back clean. I will say that they didn't chastise me for the inch-thick layer of cat fur on everything. They are always friendly, and they can look up your ticket by your phone number. NEVER GO HERE!!! My husband dropped off his three piece suit and they gave it back to him with the wrong suit jacket. Completely different color and size. We went back to try to get his right suit jacket back and the owner denied that they gave us the wrong one and insisted that the jacket they gave us was ours. I took a pair of pants to Sullivan for hemming. The pants had never been worn, and were in perfect, brand new condition. When I got the pants home and put them on, the pants were significantly discolored in several locations, front and back. I took the pants back to Sullivan to request that they make the problem right. They insisted that they had done nothing wrong, and that I must have washed them wrong or left them in the sun. Firstly, I did not remove the pants from the hangar they sent them home on--they sat in my closed closet until I put them on and discovered the damage. Secondly, I don't think a pair of expensive designer pants pants would have rounded, liquid-spill-shaped sun fading after having been in the sun for the 10 minute drive from the cleaner to my home, especially since the majority of the discoloration was on the front, which was "inside" folded on the hangar. The staff at Sullivan absolutely insisted that they were not at fault, that I had damaged the pants once I got them home, and that they would take no action to make things right. When I told them that I had not removed the pants from the hangar, they responded with "You must have." When I told them I would stop using their service (I had previously taken about 10-15 shirts there every month with generally good results--I did find collars tended to be wrinkled, and I did have one shirt I believe was lost there, but I cannot verify it as I didn't count before I left the building) they showed no interest in retaining my business. I strongly recommend you find another dry cleaner. I'm sure there are several in the area, and most will likely not damage your clothes. Or if they do, I would expect most would take responsibility, rather than lose your business. read more

I saw the bad reviews but decided to go in anyways because it was close to me. On the first time cleaning my shirts they gave me someone else's shirt. I was then called repeatedly from them to return it, problem was I was out of town for the weekend already. I returned the dress shirt and got mine in return. Other cleaners in the area that are just better and more affordable so I won't be back. read more

Overall, the prices are average and they did a nice job on my boyfriend's shirts. I was a bit disappointed after I came to pickup a dress from them that as originally black and white striped. I assumed, since it was a rather expensive dress, that it would be dry-clean only. That was apparently not the case (and it's my fault for bringing it to a dry cleaner) but no one read the tag to see the care details and it went through the chemicals of the dry-clean process and came out brown and black. I received no phone call to let me know what had happened and came in at the scheduled time to pickup my order, only to find my dress in a drastically different condition than when I had brought it in. The lady behind the counter asked if I REALLY needed the dress that day and could she had a few more days to work on it. Luckily, I did not need it in a rush, so I left without the dress. They did eventually fix the discolored dress, but because of this experience I don't know If I'll be going back again. They gained a star back, since it was partially my own fault for bringing in a non-dry clean article of clothing to a dry cleaner and the dress was eventually fixed. read more

Dropped a cropped letterman jacket with 2 leather stripes on both sleeves off on a Monday. They called and said it would be ready Friday, I actually couldn't pick it up until the following Tuesday. The white leather stripes were completely blue from the dye on the jacket bleeding. I told them I wasn't taking these jacket because now it's ruined. Came back the next day to talk to the Asian man who cleaned it and he bluntly told me that the jacket probably won't be ready for another week because he was going to re-dye the leather. I asked so why did you guys have me come and pick it up if it wasn't ready. He said "i'm only charging you $35" I explained to him, that I wouldn't have even left the jacket if it was going to be 2 weeks to clean. "He asks me, what do you want me to do about it," and then proceeds to tell me if he gives me my $35 back he's not fixing my jacket that he ruined. A $225 jacket! I took my money and left. 4 stars for great, quick, friendly service and a nice job on alterations but I don't have anything to compare the quality or price to. Darted in the waist of a sundress for $32 - two layers, the top layer being a tougher fabric almost like lace. Hemmed a full length dress for $38 - three layers did a "seamless" job (heh heh). If I could give let them less than one star I would. I dropped off three suit jackets, five pair of pants, two shirts and a coat On October 10, 2018. I picked everything up the day before I went out of town to the price of $99. I planned on packing them just as they were in the plastic. I realize I got everything back except for the coat. I realized this on Saturday evening. I could not take my coat on the trip and had to use another one. I call them on Monday morning to let them know that I was missing the coat and they immediately denied responsibility before they even looked for it. I told him I would be back in 10 days and I will give them a chance to find a coat. Upon my return I went to check to see if they found it, and they blew me off. I simply stated that I would never return. Do not use Sullivan Cleaners unless you want to be greatly disappointed. read more

I dropped off a couple items that needed rush service in time for a number of Christmas parties I had coming up. When I showed up for pick up they laughed and informed me that my shirt had been given to someone else. They made no attempt to remedy the situation and tried to make me pay full price for my dry cleaning (even though I had the receipt to prove I paid when I dropped off my clothes). I'm not a dry cleaning expert by any stretch, but, I took my comforter to Sullivan, as I had neglected it for some time, and I came back to me, clean, well packaged and quickly. I dropped it off at 9:30 am and was able to pick it up by 2:30 that same day. The staff was welcoming, friendly and efficient. I've never written a Yelp review before, but this place was a disaster. DO NOT GO HERE. Where to begin. Called me while I was out with my family to tell me they needed to charge me more on my order I had placed earlier that day. In reality, they had actually over charged me on a coat, that balanced it out. Would not let me off the phone for 15 minutes over a couple dollars. They also made me go over all my measurements because they had not written them down? So I'm annoyed at this point. Later in the week, I am wearing my pants and notice the crease is completely pink! I took it in to another place (based off my experience and those of others, I decided not to go back) and it never came out. Pants ruined. Oh and my hemmed pants...the most obscene hem.. It looks like I took a needle and thread to them on the outside. Terrible! So please PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not commit the same mistake I did: do not go to this place. You will be paying to ruin your clothes and receive the worst customer service in your life. Hope this helps! read more
