I have been to several other Tavern in the Square and I am happy that they finally came to Braintree. With great big TVs, excellent food and wonderful service, I believe Tavern in the Square will thrive here. We stopped in here for a quick lunch and had great service. We also ordered their Caesar Salad which was good. I do remember this spot before it was Drifters and it was called Idle Hour which I loved so much. But I will say I am excited that a new pizza spot is now in its place. I think my next time that I try this will be physically at the restaurant. My only concern is that it is very loud. We also love their stuffed dates. For entrees, I had their Salmon which is always cooked to perfection. My husband's had their Steak Frites which he enjoyed very much.
