I started coming here about 6 months ago the ago and it's my favorite nail shop so far. They really take their time and the attention to detail is unmatched. I grew up in Rancho, moved away for a while and have been here for the past 13 years. I had my go to nail shops but they were always inconsistent. I don't think I have ever requested a refund from a nail salon ever in my life. I went on 04/03 the day before I got married to have my nails done for my wedding. When I got there the salon was dirty at the nail stations like they had not been wiped down in days. I told myself to trust the process that it would be okay. Well I should have listened to my gut. As of 04/09/2026 two nails have peeled up. I spoke to the manager or owner and he refused to do a refund for the service. They offered a credit, but as a salon, if someone doesn't like the product it would be safe to assume they would not be coming back right? I won't be returning but keep in mind I paid 101 and some change. I didn't want the tip- I didn't care about the tip just the 85$ I spent on the actual nails themselves. I had a great experience here at Arden Nails. I drove about 25 mins from riverside to get my full set and pedicure and it was top notch! Nina did my full set, she was fast and professional. NAIL SHOPS NEED TO START BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR DISHONEST AND UNREASONABLE PRICING ! I have come to the conclusion that nail shops will make up nonsense charges because they know you have to pay for the service since the nails are already done and this shop has done it. Please take a look at my nails in the photo attached. They charge $50 for a short full set and an extra $10 for French tip and an extra $15 for "deep French tip".. look at the photo.. my nails are as short as can be damn near.. but yet they consider this "deep French tip".. yea okay. So what is not deep French tip to them? " just a line on the tip of the nail" .. nonsense. So with that being said, I paid $65 for a full set, XS acrylic french tip. Next, I came in for a fill & got the same length and french tip again (same as my first appt but now just a fill) , since they had grown I wanted them back done to xs length.. Why was I charged $65 for my fill when that's why I paid for full set? They said that's weird & as I continued to question it, they made up "cut down $5 extra" SINCE WHEN. They refused to do anything about knowing it was wrong. Moral of the story is that a lot of nail shops are being so unreasonable nowadays including this one. It's not right. It doesn't make sense. Lastly, it's not ethical. Fills used to be cheaper than full sets but not anymore because they make things up off of the top of their head & say there's nothing they can do about it. They do a really good job, but the girl who started my nails left to do someone else (I'm assuming they had an appointment). And another lady came and started working on me then suddenly decided she wasn't going to do my pedicure anymore and I was left sitting for nearly 45min until the first girl finished her client and came back to me. I have been a loyal customer for many years but unfortunately I am no longer a customer. I regularly schedule my appointments ahead of time and sadly the business simply does not care about appointments. They will schedule other customers overlapping and take walk ins. I get it, you need to make money and that's fine. But the whole purpose of making an appointment is so you don't have to wait 3 hours or come back later or come another day. I think for loyal customers that you have had for YEARS that never no call/no show, you should respect their time, and acknowledge that they respect your time by honoring your appointments. Sadly, I will not be returning. Ed lost a very loyal customer. Additionally, work has been feeling sloppy and rushed and my gel x nails that normally last a month have been popping off like press ons after a couple of weeks. I had an appointment for the original location on Archibald. (I had never been before). They messaged me to ask if I could go to the #2 location on Foothill instead, so I agreed because I'm easy-going. This location seemed less desirable and kind of chaotic. There were things and boxes and messes everywhere. Very disorganized. The experience wasn't what I was wanting, I was hoping to relax and enjoy myself but it wasn't that sort of environment. The nail techs were nice and did a great job. Things didn't seem as clearly as I would have thought they should be but I don't know the guidelines, it just didn't seem that clean to me. My nails came out nice and the nail techs did a good job. *also, there is a $2 charge for paying with a card. read more

I already had a full set of gel shaped almond nails, so I only needed a fill. I have acrylic gel on my toes. I love square shaped toenails. So I used to go to the original Ardent but hated how busy it could get. This location is much more relaxing and they are still amazing with hitting the designs on par! Whatever designs I bring them they can do. I had Khai the first two times and he was amazing with my two tones french chrome nails and my aura nails. Last time I went I had Lily and she did my comic nails perfectly! Even though a few walk in customers came in- she did not rush to finish my deigns and still took her time to make sure they came out perfect! I always get gel X and it always lasts me 3-4 weeks and it's because i get bored and want a new design not because I need to get them redone- they could easily last a lot longer! read more

I had made an appt with ED, the proceeded to tell me I didn't make an appointment with him. I asked for shorter nails, and for me they made them way too long. I asked to be cut down a couple of times. The gel x is so thick, my nail is not even attached the the acrylic, it's attached to glue underneath. Which my nail should be on the acrylic. I started to get anxiety, sitting for 2 hours just to get my hands and pedi done at the same time. I left at 6pm. People that arrived after me, left way before I did. They're very sweet people, but I didn't get what I wanted. I leave for a wedding tomorrow, and I don't have time to get them Redone. read more

Needed a quick manicure. Yes, a manicure for natural nails. The tech pulled out the electric filer so I stopped her and made sure she knew I had regular polish on natural nails. Overall it was a decent experience. She did cuticle clean up and filed my nails by hand for shape. $20 was a fair price, plus $1 transaction fee and a $5 tip. I have long nails, have been getting my nails done since I was a teenager (now 39yrs old). I called ahead to make an appointment asking for a pink powder fill and a gel pedicure. They had me sit down with a younger lady and I said again I ONLY want a pink powder fill on my nails. She preceded to drill my existing nail aggressively and asked if I wanted to trim down and drilled my pinky nail extremely short!!! If you go here ask for someone experienced or STAY AWAY! They could not fix my nail since they do not have the glitter powder (understandable), which is why I asked for the PKNK POWDER FILL ONLY!!! I know everyone starts off somewhere but they need to practice on mannequin nails, not customers. You cannot be a nail tech and not listen to the customer, know your craft or be heavy handed.
