All I can say is WOW. We happened to stop by yesterday during their 8th anniversary celebration…read more I'd wanted to go for years, but they have very limited hours. Major oversight on my part. I will be making time in my schedule to go back. We ordered the small cheeseboard and added charcuterie. It contained their 3 main cheeses as well as small bits of fruit, nuts, and other goodies that were located with the cheeses that they would complement. We asked what type of meats came with the "charcuterie" option and we were told "whatever is on the slicer right now" but that they were all locally made- or at least regionally made. That works for me and both selections were delicious. We also bought the special chocolate chip/cheese cookies they had for the event and they were fantastic. What I really want to talk about is the cheese curds though. We bought some to take home (you can buy everything they use on the boards in their retail area too by the way). They're so flavorful and fresh. I'm going to make poutine with those and some fries from Heyday down the street and I expect great things. The space was clean and inviting and the service was amazing. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable about the offerings. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We had no idea what we were in for, but we sure were happy we stumbled upon this gem! The selection of cheeses is chef's kiss--so many varieties, all expertly curated, and the staff is happy to walk you through the options like they're your personal cheese concierge. The vibe? Cozy, welcoming, and totally unpretentious. It's one of those places where you can feel fancy without feeling like you're trying too hard. And don't even get me started on the wine pairings... If you're a fan of cheese (and who isn't?), this is definitely a spot you need to visit when in the area. Honestly, I'll be dreaming of that cheese board the next time I'm in Cincinnati, and you bet I'll be back! 10/10, highly recommend.

The staff member was really nice and welcomed us in and asked if we had any questions. I was tempted by all the delicious cheese options, but opted for The Chopper because I'm a sucker for a good sandwich. From the street you wouldn't realize there's a whole back patio area and when the staff member told us I had to check it out and snap pictures. It was so cute and shaded, a great spot for a lunch or to hang out and enjoy some charcuterie with friends. We enjoyed sitting out there while my sandwich was being made and they brought it back to me. It was wrapped up so nicely and the chopped ingredients make it so every bite has a little bit of everything in it. So good! We ended up walking around the area before heading back home and there are a lot of cute places on the block.

However, this wasn't one of my favorite cheese bars in town. The cheeses were good but nothing special and the food pairings on the cheese board didn't seem to go that well with what was given. We paid $20 for a 4 cheese board which came with a few marcona almonds, green olives, Sweety Drop peppers, and bread with a mustard spread and fig Jam. We aren't allowed to pick the cheeses but rather they pick for you. I felt for the hard cheeses we had, we needed better food pairings and I was expecting more spreadable cheeses for the bread. They do have a crumbly cheese that has mustard seeds in it which was unique and delicious. I wish they had made some cheeses in house that could taste more fresh and would be unique to that place. They were also understaffed for a Saturday evening as there was a long line to place your order and the cheese board took really long to finally come out. We didn't have anyone check back in with us anytime after our board came out to see if we needed anything more like water, bread, had questions, etc... it could have been just that night, but we just didn't get the same attention we do in some other places like this. I've gone to Urban Stead and felt the quality of the cheeses were better and their boards are cheaper for what you get in terms of amount of cheese. We had enough from the one board with 5 cheeses to fill us up. They also interacted a ton more while we were there and the cheeses are so fresh since they make them all in-house. I'm glad I tried this place out as I've always passed by and wanted to try it out. It's located in Pleasant Ridge which is central for the Cincinnati area and it is around the corner from Nine Giants brewing. We read about some of the specials they have during the week so I'm willing to try it again when it might not be as busy.

Walked in and loved the laid back feel. Simple decor and open. Easy to order! We looked over the menu and decided to get the 4 cheese and 4 meats for $35.00. Picked a bottle of red for $23.00 (Portuguese). We felt that it was versatile and would go with any cheese. You are able to get it by the glass or if you don't feel like wine, they do sell craft beers in the fridge. You can pick your cheese if you like. There were two that caught our eye that we had to request the four alarm cheddar cheese (jalapeño, chipotle, habanero and ghost peppers) and Dragon's breath but it's soft blue cheese with spices and hints of mustard. They do not make the cheese in house. Their cheese are imported from all over the world. Very great selection in my opinion. With your cheese tray, you do get bread, olives and nuts and preserves. When we receive our tray, we were truly impressed! Cheese, bread, meats were fresh and presentable. They went well with our wine. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Besides our great experience, they do offer specials. Happy hour on Friday's, Wednesday's are flight and bites, Thursday's are sandwich nights. They also cater! Since we are only a couple miles from this awesome place, I know we will visiting again very soon! Thanks so much! Everything was perfect!

One of the booths was Boone Creek Creamery. Since I love cheese, I had to indulge and buy myself some! I love hot and spicy, so two of the flavors I got were "Sassy" (Sharp Cheddar with peppercorn and red pepper) and "Habanero" (Sharp White Cheddar with Habanero Peppers). Sassy was unexpectedly wonderful. Rather than hitting the tongue with heat, the heat was more in the back of the mouth and throat and lingered. No too much, but not too little either. Delicious. The Habanero on the other hand, exploded with heat from the initial bite. This one didn't hold back, it was full-on HOT! Way too often things that advertise Habanero try to be delicate... this cheese was not delicate in any way. It was HAWT!! And I'm a huge fan!! My third block is Blueberry White Cheddar. I haven't had any of it yet, but I have no doubt it will be epic! This was such a pleasant unexpected find. If you are in Lexington and like cheese... check them out. You won't be disappointed!!
