My bestie took me here for a birthday celebration meal thing. It is charcuterie so it is gonna be pricy, just be aware. We each got a different cocktail, and they were quite tasty! Part way through our time here though, we also discovered that you can get mimosa flights, so we ended up also getting one of those to share. Brilliant! We built our own charcuterie, and you already know it ain't gonna be cheap! We knew a couple things we really wanted, but also happily took recommendations from the staff for a couple options to fill out the board we got. We noshed and sipped for a while, taking our time (mid-day, week day visits have you feeling unbothered and unhurried, if you swing that). Even with the small charcuterie plate we got, there were things leftover. We were given a to-go box to take the rest of our goodies with us. We had a nice visit here and a good time. Certainly worth a visit, maybe with a small group or a book club meeting or something....or just as a treat for yourself!

Mixed review incoming.. so we came here for their anniversary event that was advertised on Facebook. This review is mainly for the event. The event said it started at 12, we arrived at 1. The $5 cocktails advertised were only offered from certain times. You could get a $5 Bloody Mary from certain hours but the five dollar old-fashioned and margaritas weren't available till 5 PM. We brought two pairs of shoes for donation for WaterStep and the man taking our order had no idea what we were talking about (he asked another person thankfully). The event said they were doing giveaways all day and had goats, we didn't see either. We saw a box of giveaway items and when someone asked about them, the staff member said he wasn't sure and maybe they were for games they were playing later. Flash tattoos were supposedly starting at one, we saw someone setting up around 1:30. We saw a face painting booth but no one was there. We ordered a $12 charcuterie cup, it was fine. The space is really neat, lots of indoor and outdoor seating! A staff member came to our table and brought us water which was really kind. We were really disappointed that an hour into the event (when we arrived) nothing was set up. We stayed till 1:45 and gave up, they were still setting up.

"Four You" Board (4-6 people) includes 4 cheese and 3 charcuterie

Went on a nice Wednesday day. Small parking lot or street parking available. Almost every table on the patio was taken around 630pm. Staff there to take your order but you can also go inside and order at the counter. Inside is where you can find out the type of cheeses/meats for the boards too. Wednesday is half off bottles of wine. Wines bottles were around $40 so ~$20 on Wednesdays. Once we ordered our wine it took about 10 minutes for it to be brought to our table and then another 20 minutes to get our board. Really enjoyed everything on the board food wise.

I was in the mood for charcuterie so my friend and I stopped by for dinner. The staff explained the menu and helped us choose cheeses and meats. We got 3 cheeses (can't remember which ones) that the staff recommended and for meats, we got the trout and salmon since my friend is pescetarian. Really nice of them to have options for non meat eaters! It didn't seem like much from the plate but it ended up being a lot of food! We were stuffed! They had chocolate, crackers, fruits, and pickled vegetables. A great selection! And since it was half off wine bottles we opted for one of their white wines. Such a great deal! There weren't any seats open indoors so we sat out on the patio. Lots of fans around and umbrellas to cool us down. Parking is kinda weird since the parking lot next to it isn't free LOL. I parked on the side street without any trouble.

We had a wonderful experience at Cultured on a Friday night. We arrived on the earlier side around 5:30 pm. There is a parking lot with a good amount of spaces or on street parking. We walked through the outdoor patio area and inside where there is a small seating area, bar area and counter. It's a bit tight where you order but the service was wonderful. They explained the menu and that days offerings of meats and cheeses. We opted for the 2-3 person platter which includes 3 cheeses and 2 meats. We also ordered a few drinks and then headed outside with our order number. The patio area is lovely and mostly shaded. We selected a corner sitting area and noticed several fans around to help keep the area cool and bugs away. They brought us out a carafe of cold water and our food arrived shortly after. We throughly enjoyed the assortment of meats, cheeses, nuts and fruit that came on the platter. Would highly recommend and we'll be back!

The Charcuterie Class offered at Cultured is 100% worth your time and money. The wonderful owner of Cultured herself was our class instructor who truly took her time to demonstrate the process to build our own charcuterie board. I would highly recommend taking this class! It is first come, first serve seating so get there early if you have a larger group!

Small Derby Board (6-8ppl)

Cultured is my go to whenever I need a charcuterie for a get together. I've ordered several boards from here over the past couple of years. I usually order ahead of time online. My board is always ready on time and fresh. I love the variety of meat, cheese, fruit, veggies, nuts, chocolate, etc. that they offer. They are also reasonably priced. One day I'll have to come and actually sit in the establishment. Whenever I go here to pick up my board, it seems like a fun chill environment with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is also very welcoming and nice. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Loved this place! Charcuterie platters, cocktail specials on the weekend and a lovely patio and indoor space. The variety on the charcuterie platter was perfect. The weekend drink specials included $3 mimosas which is hard to pass up. The bloody mary's were definitely worth it especially with the $5 price tag.

The atmosphere of cultured is great! The outside area is fun and so is the inside area. Definitely a place set up to get some finger foods and talk amongst friends or coworkers. The charcuterie board that we got had some really tasty options and looks amazing when you get it! Five star presentation. I think it's pricy for just two people but that's specific to us obviously. It's a very fun place for parties, double dates, and maybe a special occasion.

Cultured lived up to the hype. The food and cocktails were outstanding. Don't wince too much at the prices because you get a lot of food and the quality of the meats and cheeses are incredible. They craft everything behind the counter, so be a little patient with getting your food because, trust me, it's worth the wait. Our server gave us excellent recommendations, and we went home extremely happy. We ended up staying for a second cocktail because it was a nice place to sit and relax. I enjoyed the Black Manhattan and the Old Fashioned.

Excellent locally owned business. Great food, drinks and service! A must try if you're in the area. Also the best boards to go in the city.

I've been a few times now and it's always very chill and relaxing, and I love the music selection. When you walk in the plant shop is in the front and the bar is in the back. I recommend heading to the bar, grabbing a delicious hand crafted cocktail and relaxing for a bit. However if you're super eager to shop grab a cocktail to enjoy while you walk around the store. I've only ever had the Carajillo bc it's so damn good. It's light, refreshing and delicious. It consists of dark matter cold brew, Licor 43, Paranubes Cafe de Olla, Alma Tepec pasilla chile liqueur, hazelnut, cinnamont. They have the best mezcal by the bottle selection which I believe you can purchase some online. While sitting at the bar, I noticed all the bottles neatly displayed on the shelf behind the bar and none of the labels are ones I've ever seen before. In addition to being able to shop for plants, they also offer Plant workshops that you can sign up for online! Some of the workshops include a price for two people so pay attention to what you're signing up for. And if you happen to get hungry and need a snack, they also offer a few light bar snacks that consists of chips and salsa, spicy oaxacan peanuts, spicy pickled carrots, and Nemi Mexican lime crunchy snack.

Behind the lush greenery and unassuming storefront is Pretty Decent, a mezcal bar that's anything but "pretty decent"--it's ridiculously cool. My only regret is that I didn't get more pictures to share because this place is very cool. But I was enjoying myself too much to be bothered with my phone. The vibe? Immaculately chill. Moody lighting, thoughtful design, and a playlist that makes you want to stay all night. It's the kind of place that feels like a secret you're lucky to be in on. We started with a Paloma recommended by Ethan (bartender and apparently low-key rockstar). It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and an excellent recommendation.. We chatted mezcal, music, and more--Ethan's the kind of bartender who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Got to talk mezcal with the owner, John, who's clearly passionate and seriously knowledgeable. He shared stories about sourcing, traveling, and working directly with producers. Learned more in 10 minutes from him than I have from any spirit tasting I've done. Super generous with his time and samples, which led to me walking out with a bottle of Espadín, an agave spirit, I'm now obsessed with. You don't find places like this often. It's got soul, character, and people who actually care about what they're doing. Come for the plants, stay for the mezcal. Pretty Decent? Nah--Pretty Damn Exceptional.

I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush.
