I just heard of this place opening up and they have a variety of creole food! I got the creole pasta and split the baked Mac and cheese. The pasta was really good with the seafood! I'll definitely come back here.

This was just an okay experience for me. The good: We ordered the gumbo and it was flavorful. The service was good as well. The not so good: I ordered the $30 scallops because I saw an Instagram post from their site that showed 3 sizeable scallops for that price. I ordered it and it came out with only 2 scallops which I thought was a bit egregious for the price and size of the scallops received. The menu is small without a ton of options to choose from. Overall: I don't think I'll return. The mix of cuisine is interesting and not something I think blends well. The price for what you get is also not great.

Let me start by saying I've always been a fan of Chef Lawrence Weeks. I've followed him through North of Bourbon and Enso and had high hopes. We were Greeted warmly upon entering into a nice homey place. Our waitress was helpful and nice. We both got their House Gin and Tonic and it was tasty. We order a cup of their Potato Soup and it was delicious. Then we both made the mistake of ordering their "Signature Pub Burger " with parmigiana fries. To say that was a letdown would be kind. Maybe it's because it was their first weekday sitting and we need to wait a few months to let them work out the kinks. I don't know, but it wasn't good. I've had SmashBurgers that were good but this was a charcoal wafer. Because I like Chef Weeks I will be back, but guarantee I won't get the burger.

One word: DECADENT! Now for some more detailed words : This was a fantastic meal. We came in for a Smothered Catfish special, but unfortunately it was sold out. We were initially disappointed but that sadness didn't last very long. We ordered a plethora of things to try and share. My favorite bites were the buttered cabbage. Now I know what you're thinking... cabbage... really? But seriously, I have NEVER had cabbage like this. My only gripe is I wish there was more in the serving, but then again, one bite would be worth $10 in my book. After the cabbage, I loved the fish that comes with the fish and chips. It was soft, flaky, flavorful, and the house made tartar sauce complimented it very well. The Tikka Masala... no notes, just get it, trust me! The duck nuggets... juicy and tasty. The soup... I loved the contrast of texture with the sausage and croutons, and the flavor was subtle but rich. The parmesan fries and that curry ketchup... uhh, yes please! The salt beef po boy... good, but would love an au jus to dip. After all that, we were stuffed but we decided to try the sticky toffee pudding and I'm glad we did. Sweet, gooey, soft goodness in a bowl! Love it! Service was excellent and attentive to our needs. The ambiance was cute, quiet, and quaint! I'll be back! *chefs kiss*

We love Murray's! This spot has become a staple in our house. Don't know what you wanna eat? Well Murray's has options. Need a quick but delicious lunch spot. Murray's is open. Want a cute date night spot? Let's go to Murray's!! Haven't had a bad experience here. Service is great and the servers are friendly. Do yourself a favor and go here for your next dinner

    Wagyu

Service was really good. Our server was very sweet. Food was not good and very overpriced for what it was. Escargot tasted like dirt. I love escargot but this really tasted like I grabbed a raw snail out of my garden. The "wagyu" was all fat. See pictured. Potato was good, chips were good, greens were unseasoned (don't even think they added salt, any other seasonings were definitely not added) Mac and cheese tasted like a dollop of sour cream. The catfish wash good but catfish and white rice for $85 is insane. Drinks were gross too. Sad

Where do I start? First of all you walk in the door to a very neat, clean and rustic feeling restaurant. The staff immediately greets you with smiles and wonderful attitudes. The ambiance is a chill vibe. Now to the star of the show...the food! I came for lunch with my brothers. We decided to order two different starters, three main dishes and sides to share. It's too close to say what I like the best! I'd say it was a tie between the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Fish & Chips! When I say as soon as the room hits your mouth with the Tikka Masala and explosion glacier smacks you in the face! The fish light, flaky, juicy and beyond flavorful! The fries were great but that curry ketchup stolen the show! The Salt Beef Po-Boy had the softest bread pull ever find, the salt beef was tender and the mustard added a beautiful tangy element! Overall I have to say RUN don't walk to this restaurant..you will not be disappointed!

Delicious food and incredible service! Duck gumbo was utterly amazing! I was unsure about the potato salad as opposed to rice as an accompaniment but I was proven wrong. Every detail in that gumbo was incredible form the super soft and tender duck down to the okra which was perfectly cooked and not slimy. Hubby enjoyed his fish and chips. Both our cocktails were delicious and perfectly crafted. Our server was super nice and helpful!

Atrocious - It saddens me to see what America has done with itself since liberating itself from England, but Murray has managed single handedly to destroy the great British Fish and Chips in a single offering - Hake? Yes hake - not thoroughly cooked and cheaper than Cod and Haddock at $30 encased in a batter that was at best soggy accompanied by the worst most anemic and hard (not cooked) but wait - triple cooked (maybe turn the stove on next time) chip! did I mention for $30 - or you could have a burger on a store bought and very unappetizing bun with also mediocre and limp "fries" and for the love of god - Mushy peas are not smashed garden peas you muppet. And the eyewateringly expensive "steak and chips" at $80 was the funniest insult. please dont let mediocre crap like this win in Louisville!

I had The Holy Ghost cocktail and it was a pomegranate hibiscus sour, it had just the right amount of sour! I do not like bitter drinks and this one was good and easy to drink. My husband had a couple of dark beers, I do not remember which ones but he liked them. They had a nice outdoor area but it was a bit too cool for that but it may be worth a return in the Spring to check it out. Bathroom was also really cool as the decor and theme spilled over into it. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.
