My car had a repair that became a safety issue and was going to be $3700+ to repair. I have always taken my Lincoln to be serviced at a Lincoln dealer and having moved here just over a couple of years, I found Ed Howard Lincoln. They have always done a great job on my vehicle and I had not had any big repairs to be done. This time was different. I went ahead and had them fix the problem and when I arrived to pay for the repairs, Lanora Smiley, (Lincoln Service Queen) found that my car was still under the Lincoln extended warranty and this repair was covered. I had believed my car was no longer under that warranty due to the date and mileage but she found that it was indeed still covered. She and the service manager, Travis, were able to save me $3490.95!! Ed Howard Lincoln has always had amazing customer service. This time, it was a huge bonus to me, thanks to them! read more

Service is terrible. I called to schedule an appt. Was put on hold for 20 minutes. Couldn't even service are Lincoln for 25 days. They said the whole month of May is already booked. No luck with the manager either. He was rude. Love our Lincoln but wish the camera system didn't go down after 4 months. I would really reconsider before buying another Lincoln only because service is so terrible. Should have bought a Toyota. Sad. Had to make an appt with Lincoln dealer is Fort Myers. Way more professional. Was never put on hold. read more

One of the worst Service department experiences I have ever had.. They ended up keeping my Lincoln not one but two nights.. Very little communication with what was taking so long. Needless to say I will not be using them in the future. read more

I just bought a Corsair today. Paul Palma was an amazing salesperson. He made sure everything went smoothly and answered all my questions. Very professional and knew everything about my new car. Loved dealing with Ed Howard Lincoln! read more

The service associates are both rude and unhelpful... Leigh and Josh? Neither one of them could help me or the others waiting. They seem to not know anything about cars whatsoever. Who hired these people? read more

I would highly suggest working with this dealership from buying a car to getting a car serviced. Every time I have been there I've had such a pleasant experience and they go above and beyond. Thank you, Eddie for taking excellent care of my car. read more

Had a great experience at Ed Howard Lincoln. if you are looking for a honest, knowledgeable, salesperson, ask for Frankie Liu. He was very patient and always responded to texts and phone calls. Want to thank Jim Halas too. He took his time explaining the finance process and maintenance packages available when purchasing a preowned vehicle. Never felt pressured. Definitely recommend Frankie Liu! read more

We purchase our Lincoln Corsair from Bailey Stinson. We honestly had great customer service starting from the phone call we made all the way to pulling off the car lot! Bailey listened to our needs and wants. He offered other options we had never thought of and educated us on those options. We never felt pressured. Bailey walked us through all the things on our car, set up our phones, helped with the app and numerous other things on the car. You rock BAILEY STINSON!!! read more

We met Mac Sacco via an internet exchange regarding lease end of our existing vehicle and leasing a 2025 Nautilus. Mac spent considerable time showing and discussing the features of a 2025 Nautilus. This was an impressive start to our business relationship. Mac then coordinated with his finance mgr to provide financial details on lease end close out and numbers on the new lease. The initial numbers were outstanding. No need to negotiate further. We agreed to the business transactions. The following weekend - before car delivery, my wife took a fall and ended up in the hospital for eleven days. In the interest of finalizing closing documents and making delivery of the new vehicle, Mac traveled from the dealership to my residence in Port Charlotte for me to sign the closing documents, and then accompanied me to the hospital to have my wife sign the documents. We then returned to my residence where Mac took additional time to again point out the features of the 2025 Nautilus. A very pleasant and memorable experience meeting Mac and completing the entire business transaction at Ed Howard Lincoln. Highly recommend Mac Sacco and Ed Howard Lincoln Dealership. Thank You!! Great service and good prices. They take you in right away with no waiting. They had a in house driver take me and drop me off at the mall while they worked on my car AND THEN PICK ME UP WHEN MY CAR WAS FINISHED. They did a great job on my car and they beat Christian Brothers Automotive on a Transmission Oil Change by over $180.00. Lincoln charged $118.00 and Christian Brothers Automotive WANTED NEARLY $300.00 AFTER TAX. This Lincoln dealer is Great! read more

Never in the history of buying or leasing a car have I experienced what I experienced. Extremely disappointed. Came in on Monday, things were great. Trying to lease a car and no one called us back on the status. It's now Friday...after leaving multiple messages and trying to figure out hey are we getting this car or......? Nope. Nothing. Called back today just to get "oh you're denied for a lease from Lincoln you'll get a letter in mail" What? First off, our whole family has been in the car industry and never once have we had someone not try for us, not find us something, even if it's buying used etc, and definitely always had COMMUNICATION. A real sales person, a real dealership would do anything to help put you in a vehicle if they want your business. I guess we aren't good enough to buy from this dealership. Even though we have everything to be able to buy a car. What a joke. The non existent customer service was terrible. They could CARE less about our sale. So we will take our business elsewhere and I'll let it be known how you treat your customers. -Sarah & David Bentley read more

This dealership does not stand by their product! I bought a new MKZ from Ed Howard Lincoln. With in a few days after buying it, I discover a very loud rattle in the passenger seatbelt area. I have taken the car back to the dealership multiple times to no avail. They have heard the rattle but could not replicate the noise once the car was taken back to the shop. They told me they would not fix it because they couldn't find the rattle...what?!?!? I would definitely NOT recommend buying anything from this dealership or any Lincoln for that matter. Lincoln quality has gone way down hill, save your money and buy a Hundi, it is the same quality!! read more

Had terrible service twice! Car not repaired as they said it was and I had to go back...they argued with me that it was fixed when it was not. They treated me horribly!! Definitely avoid the service department at this dealership!! I would give no stars if that was an option+ read more

I fell in love with the MKX that was in the showroom and had every intentions of buying it. Until....Brian. He kept telling me about all these great discounts he was going to get me. And they were going to appraise the 2013 MKZ with 18,000 miles I was leaving over night for recalls and an oil change. That night when I returned home I spent time on the computer so I would have a general idea as to what to expect for a trade in value on the MKZ and my Escape which I was also going to trade in. The next day I returned to talk to Brian and pick up the MKZ. Brian gave me a piece of paper with figures to show me what I could expect to pay and my discounts. With my 'special' discounts, I would be paying EXACTLY what the sticker price was on the windshield of the car! I pointed this out and received a bunch of double talk. Then he showed me what they would me giving me for the MKZ trade in. To say the least, it was insulting. One of the reasons for the price was they had to re-furbish the back seat. Please refer to pictures. According to my research this was several thousand less then it should have been. Next I told Brian that I have been seriously considering a 2019 KIA EX which had exactly the same features as the MKX. I told him the dealer had given me a price of $7,000 with both trade ins and they had a better warranty. This price would have been approximately about $12,000 less for a 2019 as opposed to a 2017. But what really turned me off was that Brian screwed up his face and said, 'A KIA! They are not even in the same class! You are comparing apples to oranges!' Who trashes their competition like that! And makes me feel like a fool for even considering them. Perhaps he ought to check out who has more awards and maintains their value longer. I bought the KIA. read more

I have purchased 2 cars from Ed Howard Lincoln and the experience has been superb. I love the sales and service dept. both of these areas bend over backwards to make it perfect every time. They got me a loaner, fixed the car and I was off and running. Best car dealer I e ever dealt with in my life! read more

the worst place and the worst service, I went and bought a used car with "3 years warranty" the third day the car was giving me problems and I went back to the dealer, they check the car and they told me it was the fuel pump and they charged me more than 200$ for the repair and the car was still in "warranty" and the most absurd part is the manager tells me not to put more than 20$ in gas if I don't want the car to be broke again. What kind of cars do they sell? What kind of "professional" staff tells you that? read more

The employees here are great in customer service!!! I have religiously had service performed here. However, my husband convinced me to go to a cheap place and I was given a real scare. I called Lincoln and the staff helped me by fixing a very minor adjustment. I will never go anywhere else for service on my Lincoln. They are honest and courteous. read more

Please don't buy a car from here. They will rip you off and don't care. It has been the worse experience of my life buying a car. Please don't trust Steve Wilkerson. I am posting this hoping to spare other people what I have gone through. This is the worst place to buy a car. read more

Bought a used Hyundai Equus from them. Part of the purchase fee was for preparation. The second fee was also promised. We later discovered several chips in the windscreen which the salesman, Jim, agreed to fix. There have been numerous calls that were never returned, and we have driven there many times to no avail. Would never buy from them again read more

Ed Howard Lincoln did a beautiful job with my car collision repairs! My car looks as good as new. While I expected them to clean and polish the outside of my car after the repair work was completed, I was not prepared for the fabulous job they did detailing the inside of my car. The interior hasn't looked that good since I purchased the car. I would highly recommend Ed Howard Lincoln's body shop for your collision work. read more

Service contact Lenora was very rude. Treated me as if I didn't know what I was doing. When I told her I didn't have the VIN to my car she told me to check my insurance card( which was in my glove box in my car that I didn't have access to) her response was"well that's why the insurance company gives you two cards so you keep one in your wallet." My insurance company only gives me one. Asked for prices she never called me back to give me prices. When I asked she just stated they can't get a good deal. read more

My wife and I purchased a 2018 Continental from Ed Howard in December. We were impressed by our salesman, Matt and have been equally impressed with his follow up post sale. The only negative was, and is, a small stain on the dashboard when we took delivery. This is our first Lincoln and we are enjoying the vehicle but what should have been a small problem is dragging on with no resolution. The dealership does not have an interior detailer and so waited a month before contacting Lincoln about the stain. Lincoln recommended using an interior detailer and now we've waited almost another month for them to get an appointment with one. Matt has followed up almost weekly to tell me he is still working on it but we've realized the stain will not be taken care of if we wait for Ed Howard. This should have been obvious at delivery due to greasy fingerprints on the back seat that Matt had to wipe off after the car had gone through detail for delivery. read more

Jimmy my salesperson was terrific very patient, helpful and knowledgeable. He even drove up to Ocala to pick up my car so I could have it ASAP. I love my new MKX and I highly recommend this dealership read more

I moved to Sarasota early in January this year with my newly purchased 2005 Ford Thunderbird. I had read all the excellent reviews for this dealership service department and decided to bring my Tbird for service here. From the very first visit I have been extremely impressed. This is the gold standard for quality service and customer satisfaction. The Service Manager, Steve Fine, the Service Coordinator Lanora Smiley, and the mechanics are all top rate. They are all extremely competent, explain clearly when my car needed work, always pleasant and courteous. I'm very pleased and feel my Thunderbird is in very good hands at Ed Howard Lincoln. read more

I bought my first Lincoln - a 2015 MKZ - this past December. Brought it in for an oil change and tire rotation at the end of June. Great service. Very helpful trying to help me get my iphone to sinc in such a way that I could get emails, but turned out my phone isn't set up to allow it. Not for lack of trying though. A courtesy car took us to a nearby restaurant so we could have lunch and picked us up again. Very happy with the Ed Howard dealership and Lincoln all the way around. Linda A. read more

Bought my 2009 Mercury Mariner Premier new from Ed Howard thinking I would be getting an excellent vehicle. However, at 7,000 miles, I had to have my vehicle brought in for service only to discover I needed to have my transmission entirely replaced. They informed me that the Mariner was known for having transmission issues, and you would assume they would be prepared for someone to be bringing one in. However, it took me over 2 weeks to simply have the new transmission installed. From then on, the nightmare simply got worse and worse. Approximately ever 2-3 months through the present I have had to have it in to get serviced. I have two more payments to make until the vehicle is paid off, and never before have I regretted purchasing a vehicle like I have with this. The worst part to me, was that every time after warranty that I brought the vehicle in to be serviced, I was treated like helping me was the last thing that Steve was interested in doing. The only good employee there that I dealt with was Lenora and she was the only bright spot of this entire service department. I ended up resorting to bringing my vehicle to Matthews Currie Ford in Venice to get my issues looked at and they were far, far, far more helpful and knowledgeable. And after all of this, all of the issues I kept having with my Mariner, Ford informed me that Ed Howard Lincoln-Mercury had actually managed to install part of the transmission BACKWARDS, causing my transmission to repeatedly overheat and essentially ruining all of the internal components, and all of the payment for the service is now my problem thanks to the multitude of mistakes made by the Ed Howard staff. I have never felt so ripped off and disappointed with a business in my life, and anyone whom I know cant believe all of the hassle that I had to go through to even get Ed Howard to merely look at the vehicle without charging me an arm and a leg. The worst of the people working there is Steve Braver, and he is far less "brave" than his name implied, his name should really be Steve Care-Less or Steve Do-No-Work. One time when I went in and was upset with how the vehicle had not been fixed for what I had brought it in for previously, and the vehicle broke down in the middle of Beneva Road leaving me stranded, he told me to "relax" and that it was "not his problem", and that I had no reason to be upset. He then proceeded to say he was going to look into the problem and would get back to me. Two days later, the problem was "fixed" and I paid full cost, and was sent on my way, and surprise surprise, not two weeks later my car broke down again for the 3rd time and had to be brought back, and still was never fixed until I took it to Matthews Currie and they could not believe the mess up of work that had been done on the car, and how now, the transmission was essentially ruined. Never ever ever should you take your car to this place, the one good employee cannot compare to all of the headaches and poor work that were performed there, and the customer service was literally as poor as it gets, and that is the only reason I actually took the time to write this whole review, because I have never taken the time to actually give a place a bad review ever before in my life. Please reconsider if you are considering doing ANY business with this dealership, trust me, within 6 months, you will be kicking yourself and wishing you had paid attention to this review. read more
