I bought a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis from Scotti's over a year ago; it was an excellent choice. I waited a year to post this review because if a car is sub standard it will show up within 10k miles, which i just recently passed. My Grand Marquis has been just great, no problems, except the rear brakes I replaced, but I knew that when I bought it. The sales people were honest, the car had a check engine light when I bought it that was traced to the EGR valve. When I got home I replaced it myself for $160 and that cured the issue! The finance guy was great when I bout the Marquis, I paid cash via Debit Card and we had to make a phone call to my bank to get the deal completed. I am disappointed as I bought a car and less than a week later a gash opens up in my driver seat and my mirror fell off making my vehicle un driveable. I just dropped my car off at Porsche to correct these issues. I originally gave this transaction a 5 star and am editing my review. I was sold the car AS IS so basically got sold a Jenky car. 10/26 additional edit- Porsche has informed me that my entire windshield needs to be replaced. My car I just bought from this dealership now is costing me 1500 dollars to replace the entire windshield! WOW I am really blown away that this is the type of product that they sell and at a high cost. I did not haggle them once on the price they asked for, and I made the car buying experience an easy one. The finance manager did a few times try to get me to purchase the "extra warranty" and now I see why. He knew darn well that this car had issues and still went right ahead and sold it to me. I feel they should have dropped the price knowing it had some major problems, not sell a car at top dollar causing your customer grief right out the gate. Not cool! We planned on purchasing another car soon, and I surely won't be returning here and dont think you should either. I did send pictures of the cosmetic damages and the rear view mirror falling off before I knew about the entire windshield needing to be replaced. Of course no one replied to me. Truly disappointing to say the least!!! Do better and stop the BS, be straight up about what youre offering and price it accordingly. Stay away from this dealer. Would give negative stars if that was an option. They are snake oil salesman who mislead and lie w/o cause or remorse. I had worked out a deal in writing as I was driving 100 miles to pick up car. I called and confirmed at 3 pm the day of appointment that the price including all taxes and fees were accurate. All confirmed in writing. They knew I was leaving work early and making a trip to their dealership from a long distance. They were nice when I arrived and the car was good. We sat down to write up the deal and they presented a price $2,500 higher than what we had spoken about 2 hours earlier. Salesman indicated he did not know how he had given the wrong #'s but was sorry, He knew they could not sell the car at the price, but hoped I would be desperate and would need the car, it was sad and pathetic at the same time. This is has caused excellent sales people and dealerships to have bad reputations. I ended up purchasing a Lexus NX200T 2 days later w/ an honest dealer and wonderful sale professional. I purchase a Porsche Panamara from Scotti's. BEWARE, They are thieves, they will lie and say and promise anything to get you to sign. Their promises will be empty. 1) The key fob for my Porsche did not work, it looked like it had been chewed on by a large dog. They should have replace it right then and there and and taken the entire cost themselves ($750). They didn't do that, they tried to slide it by me and say it just then became inoperable. They then agreed to pay for half of the replacement cost, must have been out of my mind to agree to this, but I did. When I presented Scotti's with the receipt they refused to and did not pay anything. Go figure. That's what crooks do. 2) The wheels had wheel rash and again they agreed to take care of complete cost to service the wheel rash issues. They would set an appointment then cancel an appointment, this happened several times until it was apparent they were not going to remedy this situation as well. I guess they couldn't care less about any repeat business from a customer. When I made my purchase from Scotti's I never got a "Thank You" from the manager or owner, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, they stay completely behind the scenes, I guess that's what people do when they are ripping you off. DON'T BE FOOLISH, DONT GET SUCKED IN, THEY WILL ABSOLUTELY SCREW YOU OVER. MAKE NO MISTAKE, THEY WILL PROMISE ANYTHING AND DELIVER NOTHING. I went to Scotti's to see if I was eligible to buy a BMW that they had there, I talked to a salesman named Micheal. Nice guy, took the car for a test drive loved it. I was asked to wait to speak with the sales representative. I waited till about 9pm, finally I was told that I wouldn't be approved. They then told me I can buy another car, with it almost being 10 at night I signed for a Range Rover, I LOVE my car. The reason for the low rating was, after 5 months of using my car it broke down, I payed for my car monthly had to get a new turbo put into it. I finally just now got it back. When all this happened I called Scotti's no one got back to me, or even seemed to care. My suggestion is, don't ever buy a car there. DO NOT BUY AN EXOTIC CAR FROM THIS DEALER. In September of 2022 I was on vacation in Sarasota. I was on the lookout for used Lamborghini Gallardo's. I went to Scotti's to see a 2009 Gallardo and took a test drive. They informed me they had invested a lot into the car so the price was non negotiable. I ended up buying the car as it seamed fair at the time. No PPI was done as I was traveling home in 2 days. I trusted them and absolutely should not have. The car was very dirty when I arrived and they cleaned it up a bit before the test drive. I flew home and awaited delivery of my first ever exotic sports car. I was beyond excited for the enclosed transport to arrive. The car showed up dirtier than I remembered it. spider webs all over it, sand all in the engine bay, and just dirty all around. I imagined this differently considering the amount of money I spent on this car and the service level people expect when purchasing such a car. This car should not have left in any other condition but spotless inside and out. This was just the start of my disastrous experience. I then drove the car 2 miles to my storage garage. stopping for gas only. That evening I went over to learn about the car, setup my phone, etc. The next day all kinds of alarm codes were firing and the car was in limp mode. The continuously blamed the battery so I purchased a very expensive one and it didn't fix it. It was then sent to a local dealer to be looked at. Long story short the car was sent to Lambo Miami via the warranty company for a full inspection and repair. The condition of this car was terrible. The dealer supposedly put a lot of money into this car. After I list these items out you tell me if you believe that. 1. Broken driver side door handle, 2. Rear spoiler not attached and glued down on one side, 3. Engine bay covers deformed and cracked, 4. AC broken, 4. Engine bay dirty and covered in sand, 5. Front grill radiator inserts cracked. This dealer does the absolute bare minimum with any car they sell based on this experience. Not only that but they do not care once the sale is done. Quoting their sales manager Mark "If you are not satisfied, time to sell". The final icing on the cake was they couldn't even process the out of state paperwork correctly and I had to fix that mess too after going to my DMV and almost paying sales tax twice due to their mistake. DO NOT BUY AN EXOTIC CAR from them. The experience from start to finish was horrible looking back. My hopes of this review is that it saves someone from having to empty their wallet days after purchasing from this dealership. I was an out of state buyer on a (49K Mile) 15 Mercedes CLS 63. After the sales guy assured me this car was in great condition and his manager was very picky about purchases, I put a deposit down and went the next week to grab it. As soon as I got the car back to Atlanta, I took it to the best Euro shop around and that's when I got the news. This car is in terrible mechanical shape. Both intercoolers leaking, oil leaks EVERYWHERE (Front timing cover, Oil Pan, Filter Housing) Suspension bushings shot, and front axle shot. When I reached out to them, the response was "you declined the extended warranty" - "Its a 9 year old German car, there will be leaks" and my favorite "That shop sounds like they are taking advantage of you"... You can't fake oil leaks and busted bushings lol That's just the mechanical side.. Both bumpers have been poorly repainted and have runs in the clear coat. I asked the dealer to either A: Help with SOME, not even all, of the repairs to get the car up to par, or B: Take it back.. I was left with no response. Unethical, untrustworthy BE CAREFUL. My experience not the best and I would caution other buyers. I was buying a car for my nanny paying cash. Spoke to a salesperson Steve and I told him I'll be on the way Steve is not working that day so pass me over to Mike. They said they would hold the vehicle.  I texted Steve every couple hours prior to me showing up. 4 text messages verifying I was coming. When I arrived Mike gave us the keys and then they said I'm sorry but somebody else is here to drive the car so I went to talk to the manager Mark. He explained to me that this other group also we're on the way and that Mike called me to see if I was still coming, which he did not. I showed mark my phone history and Mike did not call call me. Then Mark got on the phone with Mike and asked for the call log showing that he called me which Mike could not provide. The lesson for me was I should have called Mike my self vs Steve. Mark said I'm sorry but this is the policy we need to let the other buyers choose first,  they were financing so there was a chance that they might not buy the vehicle. I said OK,  they asked I hang around for a little while for 30 minutes to see if they qualify.  I waited an hour they finally texted and said it's going to go through with the other buyer so I left back to my home, (2hr drive). As I'm on the way home they called and said the other buyer's financing fell through so we're going to give you a chance to buy it. I said yes I can come back up there tomorrow and they said you'll need to sign a DocuSign and give a non-refundable deposit. I said I'm happy to give a deposit but I'm coming up there tomorrow and I have not test drove the car so I don't want to give a $500 non-refundable deposit. I said given the circumstance with everything can you make an exception? Mark said NO it needs to be a non Refundable deposit.  The fact is they had multiple buyers backed up for this they could have easily sold it if my test drive did not pass. As an owner of 3 businesses myself I can appreciate the quality of good service and I can also appreciate when a business shows their true colors because in the end its does save my time and others that might read these or from word of mouth. read more

The sun roof had stopped working- I know, that's not the worst thing that could happen, but this IS Florida, and that's part of why I love this car! Extremely disappointed with the business decision of the GM. Yesterday I worked for hours with the salesman, Steve Gatrell. HE WAS EXCELLENT! He sent me up close videos and pictures of the car I was interested in (I am out of state). We agreed on a price and delivery and because they were closing in 30 minutes I said I'd contact him in the morning to move forward. (I was also waiting on the bank to allow me to withdraw that amount of money). I received a text this morning from Steve, stating the GM had sold the car last night. The GM knew of Steve's progress with my intentions and did not notify Steve of another interest in the vehicle. He did not inform Steve of the sale of the vehicle until this morning. This was a "behind the scenes" deal and very unprofessional. Not only did he sell the car out from under me but he took the commission out from under his hard working salesman. The point of having salesmen/saleswomen is to have a professional front for the customers to work with, and for the sales person to have a job and potential to provide for their families. The GM at Scotti's Auto Sales took that opportunity out from under his own worker. I hope this reaches the people it needs to. These practices should not be aloud. A vehicle caught my husbands' eye in the parking lot at Scotti's so we stopped in. We were greeted by Harold who was professional and fun to talk with. Absolutely no pressure to purchase even though it was the last week of the year. After the test drive, we struck a deal. After the purchase but while still in the parking lot moving my personal items over, we found out that one of the power windows was not working. A few weeks later, when I had time to stop in, Sal and Jimmy in the Service department took care of it for me at no charge...just because that's the kind of guys they are! I bought a car on eBay from Scotties. This is the 4th car I have bought on eBay (from different dealers) and have always had a great experience. Car dealers have always disclosed all issues with their cars. This was not the case with Scotties. The car we purchased was 2 years old with 20K miles. Scotties did not disclose: * SMOKER CAR * 2 CIGARETTE BURN HOLES * SCRATCHES ON BUMPER WHERE PAINT IS MISSING Also beware, when they sent the paperwork via fedex they added a $599 dealer fee. i called and said this fee was never disclosed and I stated it was a deal killer. We bought our 2012 VW EOS from Scotti's a few weeks ago. They are a family owned used car dealership with an inventory of many different makes and models. The EOS we bought was in excellent condition and priced reasonably, so there was no hassle. In the first couple of weeks of owning our EOS, there were a few minor issues, like as a defective ceiling light switch, and some noise from underneath the car when going over bumps. Each time I called them with the issue, they responded promptly and they fixed it right away. Unlike many used car dealers, Scotti's has a service department that can handle different makes of import or domestic vehicles. I owned many cars for many years, and the prompt service I received from Scotti's was an exception in my experience. If I am in the market for a used car again, I will go to Scotti's before looking anywhere else. Their selection, prices, and people are all great. read more
