The room is clean and quiet. And breakfast is acceptable. The staff are really nice people. They help me to get my stuff back.

*Update 2026* This…read moreplace is the least comforting inn in the history of the universe. I would rather stay in a homeless encampment if that tells you anything. I've stayed here for two years in a row for work and it's only, impressively managed to get worse. It appears to be under new management and they have run this already piss hole hotel into the ground. The two share a single brain cell and you are lucky if they have it at all. The doors make a loud creek sound when you open them. The ice machine is leaking onto the carpet and the only solution is to put a bunch of towels down until they becoming a sopping moat you have to walk over to get to the floors only trash can. My window is quite literally taped together. The rooms are genuinely disgusting which makes sense considering I've yet to see a single house keeper. When I asked for new towels, I had to point to where they were for the guy who was horribly confused at what was a simple enough system, that I was able to figure it out in a few minutes as a non employee. When I asked for my Amazon package, I was told they didn't have it. I had to prove to the guy it was delivered here and describe what I thought it would've been delivered in for him to magically find it. Do you feel comforted yet? Probably not right? But don't worry it gets better. Because one of the people in my group got a concave broken mattress with TOENAIL clippings in it. When he asked to switch he was told they were sold out and to come back. Well the front desk told someone else in our group the next day that they did have a room and he could switch. When he finally comes to switch they are magically sold out and he never said they. They claimed to have put a note under his door and have held a room for two days, both lies. We asked if they could just switch the mattress for ya know one that wasn't broken. He REFUSED. We asked if we could even switch it with one of the extra ones within our groups room and he said no. Customer service who? This place is HORRIFYING. So do yourself a favor and do not put your money here. Stay genuinely anywhere else. 2025 You are better off in a tent This place is a $h!t hole and is run by people who severely do not not what day it is. These rooms are genuinely disgusting and almost inhabitable and the staff running this place should be embarrassed. This is not hospitality, it's prison. My room is disgusting. If it was cleaned the individual must have been blind, Mute, deaf and handicaps. Because YIKES. Tonight I spent 15 minutes trying to exchange towels and I std to talk the guy into which towels werp

I am lying in bed very glad that I could find a place where there was an indoor pool and great…read moreprices because my daughters consider an indoor heated pool a vacation and I could move my aunt with their "help" and few disappointments for them. You might think 4 stars is crazy for a hotel that STINKS of smoke (I smoked for 25 years and it even offends me) from their almost unheard of smoking rooms, pile of lumber by the inside pool (why does an inside pool need lumber?), and stupid free standing mini-fridge with microwave on top. Above the room where we slept there were activities going on that I would have applauded when I was 20. Good job sir. The pace, duration, athleticism, and multiple climax were note worthy. If I needed tips, I would seek you out. Fortunately, my daughters were tired from swiming in your tiny, heated, indoor pool, that has a lumber pile, no tables, and dirty chairs, and they couldn't care less. Neither could I. This is the absolute best spot to spend little and get a place to swim and sleep. If you want class, stop spending $55 and spend $250, which was the next place with an indoor heated pool and no lumber. So, yes, they are a nice dump for $55 a night. They suck if you want to spend $250, but they are the best you could ever get at $55 for a clean room, two queen bed, and an indoor heated pool. I am a contractor and I would gut this place and give you great style at double the price. For a quick visit with family, I'm glad these cheapskates own this place and not me. I will say, the front desk person was very rude when I pointed out there was no milk. She didn't say thanks or let me help you, she said "I just filled it" as if I were lying or had taken all the milk. And then she asked my room number as if I were stealing their meager offerings. Oh, and breakfast until 9 doesn't mean the entire selection, it means whatever's left when you show up. For us that was waffles, one type of mini muffin, bread, apples, and that's it. I spent $500 a night to see and hear niagra falls. Do that. Come here to save for that.

Well the room was clean, I'll say that. The staff was so obsessed with cleaning that they ignored…read moreour "Do Not Disturb" sign on the doorknob and had barged into our room as we were coming back from breakfast. I think the older couple who cleaned our room were perhaps the parents of the grumpy couple who checked us in. They shared the same dour, customer UNFRIENDLY attitude. Pros: Rooms have been redecorated recently so they are nominally "hipper" looking. Aforementioned dedication to cleanliness. Fairly cheap rates (but you get what you pay for, right?) The surrounding area has a walkable Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, Arby's, Wendy's, Pilot Travel Center, Waffle House, and convenience store. The area seems fairly safe to walk around at night as long as you watch for traffic. The WiFi actually works! Cons: Not a bit customer focused. Beds are so hard and uncomfortable that they feel like they've been stuffed with cornshucks...or maybe corncobs. Pillows are a teeny quarter step above those paper pillows the airline gives you on overnight flights. Our king bed had three pancake flat little pillows for my husband and me. I went to the check in counter and politely asked for an extra pillow and was informed rudely "No pillows! Maybe tomorrow night we have pillow." (What? If I'm extra good or bring cookies or something?) At that point we'd paid for three nights while waiting for our truck to be repaired. I will say, desperate for another pillow just to make our stay bearably comfortable, I snagged one on the way back to my room from the office. Yep. Snagged one from an unoccupied room. I am a bad person, what can I say? The rooms are ridiculously uncomfortable, the staff unhelpful. What was bizarre though, is when the grandma and gramps cleaning staff busted into our room they REMOVED the extra pillow! I had to insist on getting an extra pillow four times to get one back from them. When we first checked in, if I'd had any idea what a big deal it was just to get an extra pillow, I'd have gone with the Econo Lodge next door. I suggest anyone who wants a comfortable stay to do the same. More cons: Paper thin walls. We can hear the people next door and upstairs as if they were in the room with us. Traffic from the highway is LOUD. There apparently was once some sort of towel bars or shelf in the shower and toilet room but from the marks on the wall it must have been removed. There is no place to put your towels but on the toilet lid. My husband had to go get a lightbulb from the office to replace one that was burned out. I certainly don't expect luxurious accomodations at this price point. But customer focused service costs the establishment nothing and it would have gone a long way to making our stay nicer. If we hadn't already paid for the next couple of nights I'd move to another motel. This isn't the worst place I've ever stayed but I'd never willingly stay here again.

He was Governor for 10 years, which at the time was the longest of any 20th century Governor. Second, it shows us what a railroad hotel looked like back in the 1920's. Where else can you find that? Clement was literally born in this hotel, which is how those two things came together, and it's an interesting mix of railroad history and memorabilia, political memorabilia and photos, and other interesting historical aspects of this little hamlet in Middle Tennessee. It's nice to see that some small towns still maintain their individuality and show some unique perspective where not every business has to be a chain, and not every attraction has to include a Starbucks in the lobby. If you decide to take a drive and visit, I also recommend you stroll around the corner either direction for a bite at either Lugo's on Main Street or The Front Porch on Center Avenue. Dickson is striving to invigorate it's Main Street similar to so many small towns in the area, but what's nice about their version is there's not a chain store in sight anywhere downtown. I am from here, but live in Franklin now, and even our award-winning Main Street has a Starbucks. Here's it's House Blend for coffee not too far away. So if you're interested in trains, or interested in historic hotels, or interested in railroad life, or interested in the history of the Democratic party in Tennessee... go spend a few hours here.
