We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was fresh, quiet, and clean. The breakfasts were ample with lots of choices and the gentleman attending to it made sure nothing ran short. I was in the customer service business for over 30 years. I opened various restaurants across the country, I opened and ran well known nightclubs with well known entertainers and worked for a number of professionals. I am now a resident of Middle Tennessee. I moved here in December of 2024. I am in between residence as of now. So needless to say I needed a place to stay while looking for propety to buy. I arrived at the Holiday Inn Express April 22, 2025. Unfortunately, finding a home was taking a while so my stay at the hotel was two days shy of a month, over $6000 later. The front desk staff were always extremely professional, polite and friendly. Unfortunately, their customer service ethics were not taught by their AGM Carlos!!! In all my years of going to hotels, restaurants, etc. I have never met anyone that should not be in the position that they were placed in. This guy was so unbelievably rude to me the entire time of my stay at the hotel. He was bothered that I was using a few different credit cards for my stay and he made it quite clear to me every time we came in contact, or he would call me while I was extremely busy at my ranch tending to my animals. On May 19 as I was rushing out the door to my animals for their morning feeding. He hollard my name down the hallway and proceeded to ask in a very loud voice what was going on with my card. When I asked what do you mean about my card he said well every other day you're using a different card to book your room. I said yeah $6000 later. He answered you really need to get your act together and be on top of things so my staff does not need to call you to know what card to put your room on. I was so taken back after spending $6000 in almost 4 weeks that it really mattered what card I put the room on or that staff had to call me. Carlos then proceeded to say if I couldn't get on top of things that I should go to another hotel! This guy is so unprofessional and rude so if you decide to stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Spring Hill just be aware that Carlos has no clue how to be customer service oriented and should not be in the position that he is in. read more

Rarely do I write negative reviews, but I am so astounded by how awful this hotel treated us. Especially when we just moved to Tennessee and so far everyone has been so kind! But the staff at this hotel were nightmarish except Omar at the front desk who was nice, friendly & helpful. Everyone else was progressively unfriendly and the assistant manager Gabi was horrible. I really don't want to go into much detail because I could go on & on & on. Let me say that I am currently disabled & in a wheelchair. Their disability-accessible rooms have no walk in showers or shower chairs, even if requested. But this is minor compared with the rest. We happened to be staying here when there was a crazy bombing in downtown Nashville on Christmas morning which knocked out ALL communication service. No phone service (not even hotel landlines), no texting. wi-fi, tv, cell phones, NOTHING. No way to contact the outside world. We have Emotional Support Animals, two small dogs, and we verified in advance that the hotel accepts ESAs as did Priceline who set up the stay. When Gabi found out we had ESAs she said the hotel does NOT allow them and THREW US OUT OF THE HOTEL. She used the excuse that the dogs were barking which is highly unlikely. On the day when there was no way to communicate to find another hotel to set up a reservation, and me in a wheelchair, she freakin' KICKED US OUT!!! I might add that we are pretty old too. I mean it. But this woman was cold as ice and weirdly callous. Later I saw she charged us $250 for a "pet fee" (not allowable with ESAs) and said that the dogs left a mess. A BLATANT LIE. The room was left immaculate. This type of theft is outrageous. And apparently my only recourse is to leave a bad Yelp review & get my bank to get me my money back. Yet I know that when the bank investigates this they are going to lie so I'll keep my fingers crossed that justice will prevail.. I hear that the Hampton Inn nearby is very good. read more

Great place! Stayed 2 nights. Clean rooms, and comfy blankets on the bed. They provided a crib for our baby for free. Staff was always smiling and kind to my kids. They have an indoor pool which was too cold for me but my kids were very adamant that it warms up when you get in. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE BREAKFAST!!! It is perfect. The omelettes are on point (kids had cheese on letters and I have egg white veggie omelette) and the pancake machine makes delicious cakes. I wish my bathroom was like theirs. MY ONLY COMPLAINT!!! The shower curtain looks nice but isn't waterproof at all. Point the shower head towards the wall or you'll flood the bathroom. There were a lot of business people using the meeting rooms at all hours and even though they all gave off the kind of Wall Street Fortune 500 sociopath of American Psycho, they kinda just kept to themselves and no one had that look of "this meeting could have been an email" so I think if you're coming for a work thing, you'll have an alright time. Might be one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The hotel may be fairly new but it's got some old-school bad management. Super-rude staff...like, I was stunned. I travel every week and the customer service response (or non-response) caused me to stop using the entire IHG chain. They cancelled my elderly parents-in-law' reservation without notice. If you're in Spring Hill, go to the new Hampton Inn off of Saturn Parkway. They like you there. read more

This hotel would not work with us when we had a circumstance outside of our control and a prepaid room for two nights. Needed the room early on the second day (which was within the paid two nights) and wouldn't let us check in but eagerly took our money. Shame on you! read more

Rude employees, especially the manager. They added on a "smoking" charge when I would never ever smoke in a room. When calling to dispute this the manager Tonya was the most vile and rude person I've ever come in contact with. I've stayed at tons of IHG properties and never had issues like this. I didn't smoke in the room. It's absurd. Very disappointing and I will not stay at this location again when visiting Nashville. read more

Truly one of the nicest hotels I have been to! Everything was exceptionally clean and the service was wonderful! The beds were extremely comfy. The continental breakfast was delicious and well above what we expected from a hotel breakfast. We will definitely we coming back here. read more
