We had a party of four and our food and drinks were served all scattered: some would get their drinks (after 45 minutes of waiting) and some would already get their food. Why did it not come at the same time? 3. We all got our food at different times, and some didn't get their drink until 25 minutes after their food. We had a lovely group of girls who came before us and had yet to get ANY drinks or food (they order water mind you) 4. We had absolutely no silverware even when the food came and when we got it they were soaking wet. We tried explaining this to the owner and she said "well I run my restaurant differently" 5. The server was very rude and seemed annoyed when we asked for simple requests 6. When the server brought sugar as we requested it was practically empty 7. The "owner" (I don't know if I can even call her that as she was EXTREMELY unprofessional) came over to ask us what was wrong because she overheard us complaining and we listed all of our recommendations kindly and she proceeded to give a list of excuses. She also said that she "runs" a restaurant differently than what we would when we stated we have worked in restaurants before and this is not how it is done. She rudely walked away as we were explaining our issues. That's not all. When one of us said "Clearly you don't know how to run one" under our breath she ran back and screamed across the restaurant "What did you just say about me" directly to one of us who did not even say it. This is extremely unprofessional for an owner. You should always respect customers even when they are being a pain. Trust me, I have been a server and you will always have difficult customers but you ALWAYS treat them with respect and never lose your temper. All in all, I will NEVER be back and hope this "owner" becomes more responsible and respectful towards her customers. It is a beautiful establishment that just needs better management. You pull up and there is ample parking right outside the farm. We were greeted by one of the Wilson's children (added that nice family feel) where we purchased admission. $10- they take cash, card and Venmo. From there you have fresh kettle corn being cooked and bagged, and a nice size area to purchase pumpkins and other goodies. You can hop on the tractor and take a ride around some of the property or they also had a little 'train' for the kids - super cute. The corn maze is straight back from the entrance - it's huge and you can get lost - take note of the aerial photo at the entrance . When you come out, if you start to head back where you came, you'll see a wildflower path up ahead, was a nice stroll up through there, and wraps you back around to another pumpkin patch. That's where the 'action' takes place... cannon and slingshot action! Here you can pay for a slingshot or cannon experience; we did both. Slingshot was fun, mini pumpkins - $1 for 2 shots and you totally get that 'pull back far far far sitting on the ground experience' - loved it! The cannon - well- I loved the power in between my hands!! That sucker shot a NICE distance. This was $2/shot or $5 for 3. Well worth it!!! We didn't carry cash on us, so after grabbing a wagon/cart up front (there a few to use - or bring your own!) we grabbed a variety of pumpkins in the field - ghost, green, orange, etc... then we ended up paying for the cannon experience when we purchased the pumpkins. Things to note: Bathrooms on site, cards accepted, pumpkin patch, kettle corn, tractor rides, cannon and slingshot, corn maze, 'train' for the kids. I spotted some fire pits, might be able to use those as well, just ask! We spoke with Lynn (Mrs. Wilson) and learned all about the farm. She and her family really put their heart into this and you can tell. This farm has been in Mr. Wilson's family since the 1800s!! Cannot say enough good things about this Farm and how kind the entire Wilson family is. Bring the family, go with friends, fly solo - whatever, just do it!
