If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I called the police when I was treated horribly by the hotel staff after being a great customer. It was only me in the room and I was no trouble. I stayed July 11th, had a carload full of stuff with me ​and needed to stay another night. I paid for another night and when I went to the front desk to let them know I was told that I had to check out at 11 and couldn't check in until 3. While this was inconvenient I understood, and being that this is where I was staying and didn't have anywhere else to go at the time, my only choice was to move all of my things to the lobby and wait until check in time. When I started bringing my stuff in the lobby, the horrible woman at the front desk was annoyed that the bell kept going off while I was bringing my luggage in, and told me that I was not allowed to wait in the public lobby to check in to my reservation. I called the police because I was hurt and didn't understand not being able to wait in the lobby, but they told me I had to leave the property if that's what they wanted me to do. So I found a quick ride to get all my stuff out of this place who clearly cares nothing about it's paying customers, and they will not even refund my money for the night I was not allowed to stay because I was a "no show". Their customer service department is a joke and have been no help. Don't stay here if you want to have a restful peaceful experience. read more

The room STINKS like dead people. The door won't lock. And the staff didn't answer the phone at the front office so I had to barricade the door overnight. The micro bathtub and mini toilet have cigarette burns all over them (after I asked for a nonsmoking room). And finally, last but not least, the staff/owner were so RUDE, HATEFUL and DISRESPECTFUL that I decided to share reviews. My son has cerebral palsy and walks differently. When my son went to the office (alone because he's a grownup) to get coffee, staff called my room to report "he can't walk and he can't be alone" because of his disability. Make sure you see the room they give you and take a deep sniff when you go in. I got a room that smelled like a chemical dump that I made the mistake of paying for before I went in. They will not refund your money. You should avoid Motel 6 like the plague. Staff is of no help and the parent company is OYO and they are not any help either. They cancelled our reservation last minute and told me i would have to come in first come first served. Booking.com was more than accommodating us with a credit for the difference in our room and pet fee. I found out later they went up on the price of the room is why they cancelled. My wife gave her maiden name for the reservation that I had booked and before she could give them my name the woman dismissed her and told her there were no available rooms and to leave. According to the reservation on motels.com, the name of the person is asked for and is not required. The name on the reservation also matched the credit card. My wife got very angry and told the person behind the counter that she didn't give a rat's ass if they had a room or not for the evening. Apparently, this offended Miss Priss so much that she threw my wife and stepson out of the motel. Nice touch. Lousy and rude customer service is absolutely unforgivable. Just think about how tossing my wife and stepson out of your motel makes me feel when I already paid for a reservation. I read the reviews for this place before getting a room here and to be quite honest I was scared to death to stay here but it was the only place that I could find an affordable room. I reserved a room with my credit card and I showed up a few hours later and paid for the room. Before paying for the room, the receptionist at the check-in desk after expressing my concerns about cleanness let me look at the room before I made my payment, which I thought was pretty cool to let me do that. I went and I looked at the room and it looked OK to me. After paying for my room I went to get my stuff out of the car to take it in to the room. I stayed in room 206, and as I was carrying my items to the room in the north west stairwell I do believe I met the guy that was mentioned in a review who was selling drugs. He was a very large Mexican guy who was on the top floor of the stairwell looking down at people approaching. When he noticed me he went down middle ways of the stairwell and waited for me. As I approach the middle part of the stairwell he began speaking in Spanish to me. I simply ignored him and continued on to the top floor of the stairwell to my room. When I got to my room the air conditioning had been turned off, which I had noticed when I looked at the room. Most of the reviews that I read complained of mold growing on the walls. This could be stopped if the owners of the hotel would leave the air conditioning running because it gets the humidity out of the room therefore mold does not grow in the walls. I turned the air conditioning on and I left to go eat at Logan's roadhouse just up the road and go to Walmart to get a few snacks. Upon getting back as I was getting out of my car I could hear what sounded to be a couple having sex, they were on the ground floor and the guy was yelling yes yes oh yes. All the reviews that I had read, and just now witnessing this I chuckled softly and said to myself oh boy what have I gotten myself into it is going to be an interesting night The room itself they have tried really hard to update the rooms. I noticed that they have painted the rooms and they have made several repairs, this seem to be a complaint of the reviews that I had read in years past where the rooms were not being maintained. But the room that I had stayed in look like it had been remodeled. It was perfect remodeled but at least they are trying. My overall night there really wasn't that bad i kind of enjoyed my stay there, and I might even consider staying there in the future if the need arises, because I work in the town it is located in from time to time. read more

Well the room was clean, I'll say that. The staff was so obsessed with cleaning that they ignored our "Do Not Disturb" sign on the doorknob and had barged into our room as we were coming back from breakfast. I think the older couple who cleaned our room were perhaps the parents of the grumpy couple who checked us in. They shared the same dour, customer UNFRIENDLY attitude. Pros: Rooms have been redecorated recently so they are nominally "hipper" looking. Aforementioned dedication to cleanliness. Fairly cheap rates (but you get what you pay for, right?) The surrounding area has a walkable Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, Arby's, Wendy's, Pilot Travel Center, Waffle House, and convenience store. The area seems fairly safe to walk around at night as long as you watch for traffic. The WiFi actually works! Cons: Not a bit customer focused. Beds are so hard and uncomfortable that they feel like they've been stuffed with cornshucks...or maybe corncobs. Pillows are a teeny quarter step above those paper pillows the airline gives you on overnight flights. Our king bed had three pancake flat little pillows for my husband and me. I went to the check in counter and politely asked for an extra pillow and was informed rudely "No pillows! Maybe tomorrow night we have pillow." (What? If I'm extra good or bring cookies or something?) At that point we'd paid for three nights while waiting for our truck to be repaired. I will say, desperate for another pillow just to make our stay bearably comfortable, I snagged one on the way back to my room from the office. Yep. Snagged one from an unoccupied room. I am a bad person, what can I say? The rooms are ridiculously uncomfortable, the staff unhelpful. What was bizarre though, is when the grandma and gramps cleaning staff busted into our room they REMOVED the extra pillow! I had to insist on getting an extra pillow four times to get one back from them. When we first checked in, if I'd had any idea what a big deal it was just to get an extra pillow, I'd have gone with the Econo Lodge next door. I suggest anyone who wants a comfortable stay to do the same. More cons: Paper thin walls. We can hear the people next door and upstairs as if they were in the room with us. Traffic from the highway is LOUD. There apparently was once some sort of towel bars or shelf in the shower and toilet room but from the marks on the wall it must have been removed. There is no place to put your towels but on the toilet lid. My husband had to go get a lightbulb from the office to replace one that was burned out. I certainly don't expect luxurious accomodations at this price point. But customer focused service costs the establishment nothing and it would have gone a long way to making our stay nicer. If we hadn't already paid for the next couple of nights I'd move to another motel. This isn't the worst place I've ever stayed but I'd never willingly stay here again. read more

It seems they have gotten better. I stayed here a few days ago on the way back to Ohio. This time, I got my smoking room, and my table, and all the utilities were working...even the fridge (I know, a fridge in a motel 6). We must have gotten a suite or something. The walls were blue, the sheets were pink, so who knows..maybe it was the honeymoon special or something. Still not my ideal choice when I travel, but when on a budget, this property has yet to fail. read more

If you could review as 0, this is what I would rate it. The room was disgusting, the light fixture above the bed was falling off. The outlet between the beds was falling out of the wall. There were knife holes in the ceiling above the beds. Above the shower was black mold. The flooring was atrocious. After dark there were people arguing, trying to find crack and who knows what else. We did not bring our clothing in for fear of bugs. Unless you're a hooker, crack dealer or user, or a person looking to get robbed (or worse) stay as far away as possible. read more

How to rank a hotel? Am I comparing this Motel 6 to some of the luxury ones out there? No. For what I paid and compared to the hotels in the area for the price, this Motel 6 was a nice surprise. Modern room. Clean. Hardwood type flooring. We just needed to rest in the room and I was surprised they had about 10 real movie channels. Surprisingly quiet. Fridge, microwave. Simple. No iron or coffee pot but there is coffee in the lobby. I would rather have the inexpensive price than more for the staff to clean and raise the price. read more

After a week still no response from ANYONE despite being told they had until midnight on Thursday or I should call in. They wanted to refund but is beside the point , hello? The hotel wouldn't even respond to their regional managers warnings to comply with a response and STILL nothing from corporate until I called in and took the initiative yet again to elicit some sort of response. Just piss poor customer service all the way around, laziness in part of the cleaning staff and management, safety violations all around. Followed up with their local fire chief(no response yet) as well as their residing BBB branch. Is being investigated but I don't hold much hope for anything improving when not even their corporation is concerned. :( read more

This is a fine Motel 6 in terms of safety and cleanliness. The rooms have large king size beds. I would have rated this a 3 or a 4 except for the cleaning staff who bang on your room screaming at you to leave right this minute if you sleep past the 11am checkout. read more

Traveling across country with a dog and baby on a budget. We have a cargo carrier on the back of my Jeep I was worried about.. Anyone could take what they wanted.. I was extremely worried about theft. But I woke up to everything still there!! Was pleasantly surprised.. The price was cheap, and the rooms were updated. And the woman at the counter was super friendly, But the beds were still extremely uncomfortable.. And the walls are still paper thin.. But for the price, u can't beat it. The room was clean. The hotel owner/manager lady was extremely rude. I am disabled and my husband is deployed. I have a service dog, she would not let me access the motel lobby with my service dog and after being on the phone with someone angrily gave me the room. I have never been to TN before so after traveling this far and no where to go I was forced to stay there. I have stayed at a lot of motel 6s in the past and never had any trouble like this, and to top it off when I found a new place since I was such an inconvenience to them they kept $200 of mine. this was without a doubt the nastiest place I have ever seen. I had bad experience driving that day or we would have slept in the car. There was hair in the shower and on the bed. holes burned in bed covers. Leak in the roof w puddle water in floor. Bad soured moldy smell. We felt like bugs crawling on us all night. We called ahead to make sure they had rooms. When I got there I showed military ID and Sharla no longer had rooms available.

We were working near Nashville, and we stayed here a Thursday and Friday night. Due to bad weather our work was delayed, we called to book another night and we were told our room type from the other two nights was not available. The only room type available was two double beds for more money, she (owner's wife) told us more beds cost more money; we were not thrilled with paying a lot more money but we agreed. When we arrived at the motel we were being given the original room type we asked for but at the high price of the two bed quote. Plus it was a room without the microwave and fridge that we had the first two nights and the laminate flooring was filthy, sticky and peeling up. The girl at the front desk told us to shove it and take it or leave it because of course the wife of the owner was gone for the day. At check out the next day the wife of the owner was working but apologetic no! She told us we didn't need to stay at the motel and we shouldn't complain! For the last night lodging we got less value due to the poor condition of the room and less features (no fridge and no microwave) and we paid a lot more for it ($65.00). Plus the bad attitudes from the front desk girl and the wife of the owner will not inspire us to stay again in an area that we work in a lot. This Motel 6 is on the low side of what we have experienced staying in motels of this brand. And that is saying a lot for Motel 6. read more
