Absolutely gross... *Black mold above the shower *Baseboard fell down exposing water damage behind the wall next to the toilet. *Filthy light switches. *Burn holes in the comforter *Holes in the curtains. *Wood floors with gaps against the walls. *Worn out chairs I think you get it... go elsewhere !!! I switched to super 8 next door.

    Light above bed

If you could review as 0, this is what I would rate it. The room was disgusting, the light fixture above the bed was falling off. The outlet between the beds was falling out of the wall. There were knife holes in the ceiling above the beds. Above the shower was black mold. The flooring was atrocious. After dark there were people arguing, trying to find crack and who knows what else. We did not bring our clothing in for fear of bugs. Unless you're a hooker, crack dealer or user, or a person looking to get robbed (or worse) stay as far away as possible.

We called ahead to make sure they had rooms. When I got there I showed military ID and Sharla no longer had rooms available.

You might think 4 stars is crazy for a hotel that STINKS of smoke (I smoked for 25 years and it even offends me) from their almost unheard of smoking rooms, pile of lumber by the inside pool (why does an inside pool need lumber?), and stupid free standing mini-fridge with microwave on top. Above the room where we slept there were activities going on that I would have applauded when I was 20. Good job sir. The pace, duration, athleticism, and multiple climax were note worthy. If I needed tips, I would seek you out. Fortunately, my daughters were tired from swiming in your tiny, heated, indoor pool, that has a lumber pile, no tables, and dirty chairs, and they couldn't care less. Neither could I. This is the absolute best spot to spend little and get a place to swim and sleep. If you want class, stop spending $55 and spend $250, which was the next place with an indoor heated pool and no lumber. So, yes, they are a nice dump for $55 a night. They suck if you want to spend $250, but they are the best you could ever get at $55 for a clean room, two queen bed, and an indoor heated pool. I am a contractor and I would gut this place and give you great style at double the price. For a quick visit with family, I'm glad these cheapskates own this place and not me. I will say, the front desk person was very rude when I pointed out there was no milk. She didn't say thanks or let me help you, she said "I just filled it" as if I were lying or had taken all the milk. And then she asked my room number as if I were stealing their meager offerings. Oh, and breakfast until 9 doesn't mean the entire selection, it means whatever's left when you show up. For us that was waffles, one type of mini muffin, bread, apples, and that's it. I spent $500 a night to see and hear niagra falls. Do that. Come here to save for that.

Well first of all one of the bedrooms smelled like pot very strong then I did get a good sleep but…read morethe air conditioning cord kept falling out. Then they only had waffles and sandwiches for breakfast not even cereal just a bad motel experience would 10/10 not recommend it also was very pricey for garbage

He was Governor for 10 years, which at the time was the longest of any 20th century Governor. Second, it shows us what a railroad hotel looked like back in the 1920's. Where else can you find that? Clement was literally born in this hotel, which is how those two things came together, and it's an interesting mix of railroad history and memorabilia, political memorabilia and photos, and other interesting historical aspects of this little hamlet in Middle Tennessee. It's nice to see that some small towns still maintain their individuality and show some unique perspective where not every business has to be a chain, and not every attraction has to include a Starbucks in the lobby. If you decide to take a drive and visit, I also recommend you stroll around the corner either direction for a bite at either Lugo's on Main Street or The Front Porch on Center Avenue. Dickson is striving to invigorate it's Main Street similar to so many small towns in the area, but what's nice about their version is there's not a chain store in sight anywhere downtown. I am from here, but live in Franklin now, and even our award-winning Main Street has a Starbucks. Here's it's House Blend for coffee not too far away. So if you're interested in trains, or interested in historic hotels, or interested in railroad life, or interested in the history of the Democratic party in Tennessee... go spend a few hours here.
