Sure if your buying tires or service, they go out of their way to accommodate and be nice and professionals. But don't go in to have your tires rotated, because they will not let you know that you need an alignment or balance. And they excuse that Kirk gave was, that the mechanic must have been so busy, have a lot on his mind or who knows many questions. So he just forgot to mention it to Kirk, so Kirk would have told me, and given me the option to do the work or not. The warranty was purchased, but it doesn't cover due to fine print, roadside paid, it doesn't cover same excuse. Kirk said He slapped the mechanic on the hand and I need to spend another 400.00 to replace! The tires have only 10,053 miles with a warranty of 65k. If you are a woman or not mechanically inclined. Well I should start with I'm in the heat of anger right now. I arrived here at 10 AM with a Groupon for a smog check, by 11:15 they told me I didn't pass because the computer is not turning on. They told me to drive it 30 miles and bring it back. I did that, returned and in five minutes they tell me that wasn't enough to drive in another 30 miles. I did that. After more than 30 miles I came back again, it's now 3 o'clock, I wasted my whole entire day trying to get this truck to pass smog. Now here's where I get mad, I have a friend who's a service adviser at a different shop in another state. Says this "Running monitors is not a one day thing. That service adviser mislead you. To and from work every day for a week with no dead battery or loss of power should do it." Mind you I don't want to hear this I want to believe that the guys here at Econo know what they're talking about, I'm middle-aged and they're older. But no. driving around 60 miles proved to me they were wrong. Then they get mad at me. So either the smog check guy doesn't know his shit or the service advisor guys just wanted to yank with me today? Either way I leave here completely unsatisfied and I don't plan on ever returning. You guys are old enough to know how to be professional and hold your temper, or you should be. Getting mad at me in this situation was unacceptable. I simply stated to you that I put it out on the internet and someone that is trained sent me both of their licenses and pulled info directly from Fords website, which contradicts what you wasted my day trying to do. Maybe someone there should get retrained. on a side note, I noticed immediately upon entering that the place is dirty. Cobwebs on the ceiling, papers out all over in public view. CROOKS!! - CUSTOMERS BEWARE!! Went there for a smog test as they advertised and were a few dollars less than the next guy. Our vehicle NEVER fails smog as we maintain her meticulously. When they told us she failed and needs this and that, we knew they were trying to phuq us over. We than went to a Pass or Don't Pay for the same price a few miles away. She passed with flying colors and the mechanics there told us there was nothing wrong, engine is in great shape for the year, nothing needed addressing. So, again, BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! We've seen places like this time and time again on TV, nothing wrong with your car, however, they will make sure they find something. They tried to phuq US over AND FAILED. read more

First and last time at this smog shop. Like everyone who bought a Groupon failed on smog check with a complimentary up sale " I'll do you a favor and do the retest for the same price as Groupon". Some favor this shop offers. Kinda makes you wonder what else they would offer for Groupon customer. Id rather get full charge upfront rather than go back to this shop and get swindle for a retest. I brought my car in for a smog check at 11:30am and they forgot about me. It is now 1:00pm when I finally asked about it. Supposedly the paperwork was sitting in the done pile. My car hadn't moved at all because I could see it from the lounge area. Kirk Jensen was the person who helped me when I arrived. Jay G Shelton is the manager who I asked about my car. He was going to give me a nominal discount for forgetting about me but I demanded my keys back or half off. He finally gave in to the half off. I am not happy at all and won't be back. Their customer service needs major improvement. I called Friday afternoon to ask how much they charge for a diagnostic check and asked if I could take it in on Saturday for this purpose. The female that answered the phone said I could and suggested I take it in early. On Saturday morning, I arrived as soon as they opened only to be told they don't offer diagnostic checks on Saturday because "Sergio is not here." I informed the man at the counter that I had called the day before and was told I could take it in to which he replies, "She doesn't know what's going on so she should not have told you that." Wow! Don't have employees answering the phone only to give inaccurate information to potential customers. It makes all of you look like complete morons. When the man at the counter began rambling under his breath after that, I just left. Needless to say, I will not be returning here. read more

Bought a Groupon for 24 bucks took my car to Econo firestone. thinking my car was in great shape and it shouldn't be a problem passing. So I get there and they run the smog check, it failed. They asked me if I had recently jump started or switched my battery lately because one code is not clearing. and I had not done any of those things. they told me to drive it for 40 or 50 miles and then bring it back and they will charge me the Groupon rate once again. I come back a week later and all of a sudden it passes and they don't even charge me the Groupon rate like they said. The gentleman who was taking care of me asked (I'm guessing his boss) and he replied by saying well we charge 28 so charge him 28 in a very rude way. I think it's a scam I could of gone anywhere else and paid the same price. making me drive around and then come back and all of a sudden it passes. and they charge me again, so total I paid 52 dollars. Lastly the first time I went when my car was done being smog checked I clearly saw the mechanic bring back my car and leave my keys by the man's desk when he was not there. so I was Ok my car is ready. I see the man get back to his desk, so I'm waiting for him to call my name but nothing! I waited 15-20 minutes and then I get up to walk around to get his attention. and when he sees me that's when he checks if my car is ready and sees my keys there! that was annoying! nothing wrong with older people working but they have to get on their shit. read more

Run, Don't walk from these crooks !!! It' s was a few years ago I took my car in for an alternator, got a quote for $300. Well, I got back & it was now $700.00 !!!! They said your 97 Sebring needs a special one ?!?!?! Ya Right !! I was in a hurry so I paid, left & I sneer at them everytime I pass!!!!! FYI, Call Autozone or a parts store first for a parts price, then the dealer to see how many "Man Hours" for the Labor. Then you know a fair price... They are rude and wont work a minute past 6. I had my car there. I raced to get it picked up after work and the owners daughter who is so nasty mean said too bad I have things to do. Im not waiting for you! I got there 3 minutes after 6 and they were all gone. This company actually tried to charge me for storage fees the next day. Do not use them there are other Firestone Service centers in Riverside that are much better and a lot nicer. Why give your money to somebody who has no intention of providing any type of service. read more
