I'm not one to normally write a review, but I was so satisfied with Jeff and Eco-Tech that I wanted to share. Called Eco -Tech and got an appt within a few days during the crazy heat wave. My unit was about 21 years old and looked every bit of it. Jeff inspected it and recommended replacement due to age, but offered to try and repair it if that was the direction we wanted to go. It was nice to talk with someone that wasn't trying to upsell and wasn't pushy. He offered advice and answered all my questions. Decided to go with the new unit, Jeff and Wes came out a few days later to install it. They were polite, professional and clean. Based upon my research, the price was fair and they installed a quality product (Trane). These guys were fantastic. My air conditioner died last week during the hottest week of the century. Jeff and his crew were very responsive and very honest with their work and estimate. He could have easily convinced me to spend more on a new furnace in addition to the A/C unit that was absolutely dead and 30 yrs old but instead he decided mine is good another 10 years with a little corrective work (last joker make mistakes in the install). This saved me $5000. When the A/C unit was $125 more than expected Jeff offered to eat the difference, nice offer but no way due to this guys work ethic. His crew was competent, helpful and polite. They wore all the shoe covers and laid tarps so as not to make a mess and they worked both nights until at earliest 8:30 and they had jobs after ours. read more

I had originally called another company who did not fix my broken A/C. When the other company didn't even show up for the second appointment, Eco-Tech came to the rescue on very short notice. Sam went over and above to fix what, in the end, was a simple issue. There was a blown fuse in the furnace, but for some reason the other company was unable to fix it. It seems like a lot of the repair companies out there don't know how to deal with newer models. Save yourself trouble and go with Eco-Tech from the beginning. Sam not only went to Home Depot to pick up some spare parts, he even cleaned up the mess that the other company had made. Furthermore, he left us with a spare fuse so that I could fix the problem myself it re-occurs. Finally, when I had a few more questions, Sam called back in the evening to carefully and thoroughly explain everything. I was also thankful for his very professional demeanor and communications skills. Both times he didn't even have the decency to let my elderly mom know that he wasn't coming. Jeff and his team did a great job installing the 3-zone Trane Heating and Air-conditioning system. The reason for the poor rating is that the system was never able to properly regulate the set temperature between the three zones (burning hot upstairs when heating; freezing cold down stairs when cooling). I have 6 phone call into them over the last year to try and have them balance the system; all of which are ignored. My advice: don't give them the last payment until you make absolutely sure the system works properly, because they do not support you once the final payment is made. read more

I can't thank Jeff and his team enough for helping my family with our AC issues. Called him during the most recent heat wave because our AC was out. He made time to come help us that same day. Everyone else was booking weeks out. He was super honest and found the issue really quickly. We were desperate for help, so he could have taken advantage, but he didn't. I had originally had this company out in 2006 when the replaced my air conditioning unit. It was crunch time. As the next day we were having a bridal shower at the house. They worked until about 10:00pm that night and did a great job. Fast forward to today. I discovered that my dog had chewed through the wires to my AC unit. Can't say enough good things about these guys. Jeff and his crew installed a new Trane central AC unit and heater in my condo. One day to do the whole thing and they installed new ducts, registers, refrigerant lines and a new thermostat. One of the guys even went down to Home Depot to color match some paint so the cover over the lines would match the outside of the condo. Installation was not easy at all, as I have limited height clearance for the furnace/coil. They're meticulous about not taking any shortcuts, and cleaning after their work. My ancient ( 30 years +) HVAC system was on its last legs of service. I knew subconsciously it needs replacement as electric bill was shooting up sky high when heat wave came along and stayed. Luckily, on a family get together, Jeff of Eco-Tech name was mentioned as having my daughter parents in law replaced their HVAC a few years ago. Fast forward, Jeff was able to squeeze me in his busy schedule and took a look at my house and had an estimate for a 5T for 14 and 16 SEER (Trane) with some duct improvement/modification next day and ready to go few days later. Notice right away, from Jeff demeanor he was not trying to do any up sell, but just give you information you need for a dependable system that is for tailored for your home. Decided to go with him and few days later installed the new HVAC system selected and finished most major worked in 1 day and at an oven liked temperature to boot. That alone Jeff and crew deserves a medal for working at a very adverse condition. They stayed professional, clean and polite all day.
