Andrew was absolutely great. He was thorough and detailed. He sprayed every corner, seam, doorway, and entranceway like he was on a mission and honestly I respect that level of commitment. He also went above and beyond by spraying proactively for roaches, ants, and spiders, and even mentioned it could help with the millipedes that have apparently decided my home is their vacation destination. He treated the drains for gnats too, which I did not even think about but now feel personally attacked by. What really stood out was that everything he used, spray, bait, and powder, was eco friendly and pet friendly, so no stressing about safety while still getting the job done. He also made sure we actually understood what to do after he left. He went over the instructions multiple times, emphasizing that everything needed at least 45 to 60 minutes to dry. Clear, patient, and thorough, basically the opposite of every confusing instruction manual ever written. Also, shoutout to the woman who scheduled the appointment, I am so sorry I forgot your name. She was amazing, super knowledgeable, clearly experienced, and mentioned she has been doing this for years and has been on the islands for something like 47 years. You can tell when someone knows their stuff and she definitely does. Regarding the cost, there was a small difference from the original quote. I was initially quoted 180 dollars before taxes with the note that paying cash would cover the taxes. In the end, I was charged 165 dollars, which was actually lower than expected. I appreciated the transparency during the visit and the final price worked out well. Overall, highly recommend. Huge thanks to Eco Smart for sending such an awesome team. This is my first negative review. We were repeat Eco Smart Pest Control customers. We worked with them on two previous occasions to treat bed bugs 5 years ago and 3 years ago. When we found bed bug bites last month, we called them again. Their technician found a bug bed on a curtain in the bedroom. He fumigated the entire house with their cedar oil solution immediately after. We stayed out of the house for the recommended 4 hours. When we returned, the bed bug was still on the curtain. When I picked it up, it was still moving. I put it in an airtight container thinking that the cedar oil solution would slowly kill it. The next morning, it was running around still. I sent a video of the bed bug to the administrator, Lisa, who said it was the first time she had seen this happen. She talked to the makers of the cedar oil solution (they are making it out of Florida now) to see if there was a faulty batch. Unfortunately, when we called to follow-up, the administrator said that we were mistaken - that the bug wasnʻt a bed bug (even though two people from their team previously identified it as a bed bug), or that it wasnʻt the same bug that was on the curtain (even though it was in the exact same spot as when the technician started the fumigation). At this point, I completely lost faith in Eco Pestʻs products and services. If a bed bug could survive a full blast of the cedar oil solution for 4 hours, then other hidden bugs could surely survive as well. The service was costly - over $900. I later found out that there is no reputable evidence that cedar oil kills bed bugs. If you have a bed bug problem, I recommend that you do research on the efficacy of cedar oil first before going with Eco Smart. I wish we had known this before we lost so much money. read more

Needed an urgent flea treatment done as a feral cat had infested our laundry area. Called Eco Smart and they understood my urgent needs and they were able to come out that afternoon. Emailed other companies and everyone said next week. Called the office and asked a few questions, they take charge cards and don't charge the extra fee, their product is eco friendly, pet safe and we didn't have to leave our home. The young gentleman that did the treatment was very professional and courteous. It didn't take too long, less than an hour, he did around the whole house, under the house and our limited lawn area. Went out the next day and nothing was jumping upon my legs, went the day after and there were maybe just 2 that may have just hatched recently, not sure how all this works, but so far so good, very pleased with the service. I was in the market, looking for some pest treatment for our townhome and a lot of the other companies they required to have an annual contract or monthly contract. I didn't want that. I wanted something flexible and I wanted something natural because I have kids and a dog. When I spoke to Lisa from the company, I knew immediately that I was in good hands. There was no fluff. I wanted to like this company. They were friendly and explained thing. However, when I called we'd have the occasional roach or two, and after they came (a month ago) it hasn't gotten better. I know they say to have them come after 3 months to complete the cycle, but I also reading their reviews I was hoping for a better outcome. :( I'm not sure if it's because we didn't have a major infestation (I suspect our neighbor does or did but that's out of my control). The other reason for 2 stars is when I called they quoted me an amount and when they came they charged me $5 more. We will see if I decide to try them one more time in two months or not but every time I see another roach in my kitchen it becomes less likely. :( read more

We recently found baby roaches in our kitchen and knew we needed to find an exterminator for this issue. We spoke to other companies that said they would spray and others said they will come every few months routinely. I got in touch with Lisa from Eco Smart Pest Control via phone right away. She gave me an overview of what the extermination would look like, the products they use, and the roach cycle. After discussing options with my husband, we decided to go with Eco Smart Pest Control. We got an appointment for the following day with Clint. He arrived 10 minutes early and got everything done within 30 minutes. He answered questions and even provided advice on what internal areas to lookout for by our kitchen, dish washer, washer, bathroom areas. He also explained what products he would put in those areas. Clint also reminded us that there will actually be more roach activity because of the products that were placed. I agree it makes sense that this is the only way to get them out, even though it's not fun seeing them out and about. He reminded us that a 2nd session would be needed to break the cycle. I know we want to get rid of pests right away but it's important to understand the natural cycle of these animals to effectively remove them. That evening, after coming back home we already saw a few more baby roaches, and even slightly bigger roaches that we didn't see before. This freaked me out obviously but I know the products are working! After the 2nd session, there is a 3 month guarantee of elimination of roach infestation. I had small roaches showing up in my house and I tried all types of traps/baits to no avail. I was hesitant to call in a pest control company because I have a toddler in the house and didn't want him exposed to any toxic chemicals. After reading their reviews and talking with them I felt confident in trying them out. They use a spray made of chamomile flowers and a powder, which I assumed was Diatomaceous earth (forgot to ask). Been trying to get rid of a pesky ant problem using baits and everything we can find. It was a small brown ant that only was attracted to sugar and water and it was so hard to get rid of. Called Lisa and she was very informative on their process and what I liked was the products that were use is pet and children friendly where we didn't have to leave the house for hours and could be applied while in the house. It was a Tuesday and asked for a Friday appointment but said they could come as early as Wednesday morning. PERFECT! Clint came over and explained to my wife what's the best ways to prevent ants coming in. He identified the areas they are coming from, treated in the side and outside. I used this company 27 years ago and had excellent results. Recently, I had a flea issue and so glad this company was still around. There are several over the counter products I could have used, but knowing the products are non-toxic and with past experience, I made the call. I am the most leery of using cancer linked chemicals never using pesticides ever.Never use raid or roundup. But was pleasantly pleased after talking with Clint. They use a nontoxic substance made from chrysanthemums. We treated the outside only and I seriously noticed an improvement in ants and roaches in days. We also had wooden frames in our laundry room that had a termite infestation. Before tearing everything out we decided to go with the cedar oil and applied several treatments. I suspected the start of flea problem in my house and contributed it to the daily walking of my puppy. Decided to take steps to prevent an infestation. I've used Eco Smart Peat Control before for a roach problem and didn't hesitate to reach out to them again.
